[Q] Deleted System Folder; No OS Installed Error. (With Screenshots) - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
I am in a bit of trouble here ..
So last night , I unlocked the bootloader and rooted my HTC One .. Also , I installed TWRP on my phone .. Everything went fine , so I tried to install a few MODs .. The phone wouldn't start so I booted to recovery and tried to factory reset , but by mistake I deleted the system folder. So now, whenever I try to boot up , it says no OS installed and gets stuck on HTC screen.
I read all night on how to solve this, in the process, I also installed ADB on my computer, and finally got it running too.
I found these two guides while searching the internet and I tried them both but to no avail:
http://androidforums.com/international-tegra-3-one-x-all-things-root/549962-usb-mount-recovery.html
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2038366&page=5
Only when I boot up to recovery, the computer recognizes my phone and adb lists it.
ADB Sideload through TWRP doesn't work , says *cannot read sideload*.
Also, when I try to execute the command "adb shell" with sideload , it says "error: closed".
If I just put my phone in recovery, then it says phone found in recovery but then I can't mount my internal storage.
I have attached the screenshots to everything. Any suggestions , other than taking it to HTC as my warranty is now void?
Any help would be appreciated. Just need to push the ROM to my internal storage.

nevermind , i found the solution here :

[Q] ADB/Fastboot not working on Linux

I have a slight problem, and I'm not too sure how to fix it. I mindlessly formatted my /sdcard directory in recovery, and had also removed my current rom.
My computer is running Linux Mint 15.
As it stands now, I have a completely wiped device with CWM Recovery v6.0.3.0, and no roms to flash. ADB is not working ( I get error: insufficient permissions for device) and neither is Fastboot ( stays on "waiting for device" indefinitely).
All I need to do is get a file onto my One to flash via recovery, as ADB and fastboot aren't wanting to work. All suggestions are HIGHLY appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
:fingers-crossed:
The title is misleading somehow , the adb and fastboot are working fine for me on Ubuntu with HTC One

Help - Rooted, failed installing Busybox, now stuck while booting

Hello guys, I really need your help here.
I will try to explain the situation as detailed as possible, if you still need any info, just ask.
I own a HTC One, carrier locked (Base) and not the sprint version, whatever that is.
Yesterday I unlocked the bootloader and rooted the device, following a tutorial by a german tech site. It all went well, everything worked and I was happy. I did a complete backup of the Internal Storage, as accessible by PC. I did also install TWRP and used it to flash SuperSU. I did not do any backup using TWRP.
After downloading a few root apps, a few demanded missing Busybox, so I went to research a bit. I found some installers, downloaded the first one, and clicked install. It said something along the lines of "Install failed, try another location", so I did that. It failed again. I uninstalled the installer and tried another, same result. After a bit of research, I found out I had to unlock read/write permissions for the system partition.
I then found this Thread, telling to flash a .zip file which contains
- Everything necessary to install the latest SuperSU and supporting files (su binary included)
- Install latest busybox in recovery
- A ported wp_mod.ko module for this kernel
- A script to start wp_mod.ko
- A modified boot.img - insecured (allows for remounting of /system to rw when in Android), enabled USB debugging by default, and added busybox run-parts (alows scripts to run during boot).
Without noticing that the title said "Sprint HTC One" and without knowing the difference, I went on and flashed this .zip using TWRP.
The first time, it turned off/rebooted before it was finished (before TWRP showed the reboot option). Turning it on again, it was stuck on the "HTC - quietly brilliant" screen. I held the power button until it turned off, booted into recovery (TWRP) again and tried flashing the .zip again, this time seemingly successful. I clicked reboot, and it again got stuck on the "HTC - quietly brilliant" screen, now I don't know what to do.
After trying rebooting a few times, I did a factory reset, now before rebooting again, TWRP gave me the warning "No OS - Are you sure to reboot?" or something similar, which I find very strange.
Is my backup of Internal Storage of any use? (BTW: I can not access it right now, sadly)
Does anyone know what I could do?
Thanks in advance for all answers.

Long description, but you didnt say what you want to accomplish.
Anyway, probably easiest to flash a custom ROM using one of the following methods:
1- OTG Cable
2- adb push <name of rom>.zip /sdcard/
3- adb sideload <name of rom>.zip

sdcard wiped, Rom in loop

Hey guys, I accidentley wiped my sdcard when I reunlocked the bootloader. I have a custom rom that was on previously but its stock in a loop. I tried to push another room using adb sideload but when i do I got * Cannot read 'sideload'. I dont know any other way i can connect the phone to computer to flash another rom. please help.
Thanks
Update:
I can push the rom but i get this error when trying to install "E: unable to mount 'data' "

when I had that problem, I ended up wiping everything and then rebooted to recovery and it finally worked.

Try what @JudgeFutta said. The error's most likely due to corrupt partitions.

Try to get in Recovery and from mount option mount system and then try it will work or try this
Make Sure HTC Drivers are installed and ADB is already working
1. Reboot into TWRP
2. in TWRP, Hit andvanced and find Sideload
3. Swipe to start Sideload
4. Open a CMD Prompt window and Change Directories to where your adb.exe is
5. type adb devices and it should show your device conntected and say sideload
6. Your ZIP file should already be in your adb folder
7. You are now ready to push the zip.....
8. type adb sideload nameofzip.zip
9. Wait until it says 100% and reboot back into recovery to flash the ROM
10. If hitting power does not make the screen come one, type adb reboot recovery
11. if adb reboot recovery does not work, hold power and volume down until it reboots to fastboot then go to recovery
ADB Push from Recovery - If Sideload Fails For You
adb push rom.zip /data/media/0/
Be sure u r in Recovery when using ADB Push command.
Thanks guys. What i found out is that i had a corrupt partition so I formated the sdcard since there was nothing on it and it worked. I pushed the rom through adb but i didnt do the sideload method. I have liquid smooth on it now but I want a sense rom. any suggestions for a good one?

@p1mpin Can vouch for that ROM, it's amazing. Might also want to flash Kangaroo Kernel while you're at it. It'll give you great battery life.

[Q] Restore Android after wiping no backup on sd avail.

Happy holidays,
I am having trouble to get my htc one m7 back to normal.
I did erase my android and internal sd card( not backup on sd card avail).
What does it mean - after rebooting my phone is stuck in HTC logo screen not booting.
It was unlocked/rooted in the first place - my plan to do a factory reset
Another issue is that my PC (win 7) does not recognize my HTC ( as storage unit ), I tried driver updates, diff cables and another PC same issue ( Android 1.0) so I am unable to copy/access the htc's sd card
What i can access/see/work with:
bootloader menu
TWRP
Once i reboot from TWRP menu, it says "no OS installed"
I could feed more details if needed.
I am desperately looking for advice. If anyone could share some thoughts, I'd be very thankful
( not a native english speaker excuse my language,)

The phone only works in fastboot when in the bootloader and adb when in TWRP
from TWRP sideload this Rom to your phone
http://www.androidrevolution.org/downloader/download.php?file=Android_Revolution_HD-One_83.1.zip
TWRP / Advanced / ADB Sideload - swipe to sideload
From PC adb / fastboot folder
you use
adb sideload name-of-rom.zip
make sure the rom is in the same folder as adb / fastboot
if you have trouble with sideload use push
adb push rom.zip /sdcard/
Thank you very much sir ! Works like a charm,
Much appreciated !

I made a mistake in the flashing Cyanogen mode htc one x+

Hallo…I used the nice:
HOX+ Tutorial for Unlocking, Rooting & installing a custom ROM [BEGINNERS FRIENDLY ]
-Installing HTC's Drivers … was ok
-The use of the AndroidSDK\platform-tools … was ok
-Unlocking the Bootloader .. was ok
-Recovery installation and a backup …. was ok
-install the root the SuperSU.zip ….
i could see the app after installing … hope it was ok
--By mistake I tried to install: cm-13.0-20160916-SNAPSHOT-ZNH5YAO1AN-find7.zip
After selecting the ROM.zip it hangs, stuck or so. I don’t exactly remember.
Now it starts only in boodloader mode.
I read and search a lot to find solution, but I am a German and it is difficult for me to find the right English words to search.
I tried the restore in recovery Mode. It is wiping, formatting and restoring successfully
But nothing changed. It is still only starting in boodloader mode.
I try to copy the rom: cm-11-20160815-NIGHTLY-enrc2b.zip via PC-terminal “adb sideload.
Sometimes it shows on the terminal window: Devise offline
Next it shows: more than one device/emulator.
And sometimes the terminal window it shows 100% compleate, but on the mobile it shows failed
I tried factory rest too. But still the same.
Can someone please point me to a link to find solution to get my mobile starting again so that I can flash the cyanogenMode ?
Thanks Heinz
