Happy holidays,
I am having trouble to get my htc one m7 back to normal.
I did erase my android and internal sd card( not backup on sd card avail).
What does it mean - after rebooting my phone is stuck in HTC logo screen not booting.
It was unlocked/rooted in the first place - my plan to do a factory reset
Another issue is that my PC (win 7) does not recognize my HTC ( as storage unit ), I tried driver updates, diff cables and another PC same issue ( Android 1.0) so I am unable to copy/access the htc's sd card
What i can access/see/work with:
bootloader menu
TWRP
Once i reboot from TWRP menu, it says "no OS installed"
I could feed more details if needed.
I am desperately looking for advice. If anyone could share some thoughts, I'd be very thankful

The phone only works in fastboot when in the bootloader and adb when in TWRP
from TWRP sideload this Rom to your phone
http://www.androidrevolution.org/downloader/download.php?file=Android_Revolution_HD-One_83.1.zip
TWRP / Advanced / ADB Sideload - swipe to sideload
From PC adb / fastboot folder
you use
adb sideload name-of-rom.zip
make sure the rom is in the same folder as adb / fastboot
if you have trouble with sideload use push
adb push rom.zip /sdcard/
Thank you very much sir ! Works like a charm,
Much appreciated !

I have a slight problem, and I'm not too sure how to fix it. I mindlessly formatted my /sdcard directory in recovery, and had also removed my current rom.
My computer is running Linux Mint 15.
As it stands now, I have a completely wiped device with CWM Recovery v6.0.3.0, and no roms to flash. ADB is not working ( I get error: insufficient permissions for device) and neither is Fastboot ( stays on "waiting for device" indefinitely).
All I need to do is get a file onto my One to flash via recovery, as ADB and fastboot aren't wanting to work. All suggestions are HIGHLY appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
:fingers-crossed:
The title is misleading somehow , the adb and fastboot are working fine for me on Ubuntu with HTC One
Hey guys,
I am in a bit of trouble here ..
So last night , I unlocked the bootloader and rooted my HTC One .. Also , I installed TWRP on my phone .. Everything went fine , so I tried to install a few MODs .. The phone wouldn't start so I booted to recovery and tried to factory reset , but by mistake I deleted the system folder. So now, whenever I try to boot up , it says no OS installed and gets stuck on HTC screen.
I read all night on how to solve this, in the process, I also installed ADB on my computer, and finally got it running too.
I found these two guides while searching the internet and I tried them both but to no avail:
http://androidforums.com/international-tegra-3-one-x-all-things-root/549962-usb-mount-recovery.html
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2038366&page=5
Only when I boot up to recovery, the computer recognizes my phone and adb lists it.
ADB Sideload through TWRP doesn't work , says *cannot read sideload*.
Also, when I try to execute the command "adb shell" with sideload , it says "error: closed".
If I just put my phone in recovery, then it says phone found in recovery but then I can't mount my internal storage.
I have attached the screenshots to everything. Any suggestions , other than taking it to HTC as my warranty is now void?
Any help would be appreciated. Just need to push the ROM to my internal storage.
nevermind , i found the solution here :

Hello , I made a huge mistake and I'm looking for help, I accidentally wiped my internal on my HTC One and I'm looking to push a new rom on it. I've looked for tutorials but It's giving me outdated tutorials on Anddroid studio. could someone please kindly help me? I'm still rooted and have TWRP just can't figure out the Android studio bit.
Thank you 1
Made this mistake, too. Frustrating as I lost all my files and backups then.
You need a flash card with a ROM (*.zip) of your choice.
Connect the flash card to your phone over an OTG cable, reboot to recovery, go to advance/mount and mount USB OTG.
You will then see the content of your flash card, install your zip from there, or copy the zip to internal memory and install normally.

Flash TWRP 2.8.5.0. It supports MTP in recovery so you can access your internal storage.
Or use adb in recovery to push a Rom to the phone. Put your Rom in your fastboot folder and rename it rom.zip. Then while in recovery
Code:
adb push rom.zip /sdcard
The command window will appear unresponsive until the push completes. Then install the Rom with recovery :good:
A few Months Back I have Installed Bliss Pie rom on my Nexus 6 it is working fine but one day I reboot my phone it booted into ap-fastboot mode so I think I have bricked my device so i try to install stock rom and what I got remote failure error while flashing. So I try Nexus Root Toolkit but still, I failed so I try to boot into twrp using nexus root toolkit and I got success so i try to install rom through otg it started to install and then the error came with unable to mount system, internal storage, cache, and other things. I try every possible way from adb pull to twrp still no success.
Here are the things I have :-
My Bootloader is unlocked
i can boot into Twrp or stock recovery using nexus root toolkit
So If Anyone can help me to install stock rom on my nexus 6 i will give him 5$ on Paypal
You should be able to get some logs from twrp. If you post them it may tell us more.
At worst, the flash drive on the phone is defective, and in that case, I don't know any cure.
In Twrp its shows my internal storage 0 mb

In twrp, the usual copy logs function may not work because of your problem.
In that case, use adb to pull the logs to your computer.
Something like
adb pull /proc/kmsg
adb pull /tmp/recovery.log
(on the computer).
Why not flash stock through fastboot then?
Enter to recovery, go to wipe section, select internal storage to format and slide to confirm, you should be able to get back your internal storage restored
Hi I have a nexus 6 in custom ROM which recently get stuck in the booting process. the product is Shamu XT 1103 32GB P3A0. A custom rom was installed some time ago. When pressing power + volume down it goes into start menu which shows the device is unlocked. When pressing recovery mode it goes to TWRP 2.8.6
Is that a way to make the booting work without losing the precious personal data in the phone? I searched and found that there is a way to sideload the OTA images but it could also wipe all the personal data on the phone.
Appreciate your advice here. thanks you so much.
best regards,
Ron
When in twrp, you should be able to transfer files to your computer. I use adb pull for that.
Probably won't help you with "data", but at least you can get everything from "internal storage"
Thanks for your advice. That helps a lot!
Best regards,
Ro
Well, this is how I do it. There are other ways as well.
If you want more details for some of the steps, just ask.
1) boot to twrp
2) connect USB cable to PC
3) make sure you have adb installed on the PC
4) run "adb devices" on a command prompt on the PC and check that the phone shows up. If not, you need to install the driver for the phone.
5) make sure your command prompt is in the directory where you would like your files to be stored.
6) write "adb pull /sdcard/ ." This tells it to pull all files from the so-called sdcard (actually internal storage) to the current directory on the PC (the dot).
thank you so much!
