why not install a brick bug safe kernel like Philz for example and then do the wipes.
Edit: Just noticed that you asked this question after you actually gave answer for the same:
Are wipe data cache or battery stats ...or make a factory reset ..if y are on safe kernel ..
Hit thanks if my solution worked

It's only ICS kernels that have the brickbug. You're safe.

Please, before you do a wipe, read this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1619630
Flash Abyss Kernel 4.2 Touch first...do your wipe and flashing from there.
I've completely fried my emmc flashing from a botched CWM recovery before, so above poster is correct. You can't be too careful.

oh god....
i'm afraid my phone being brick....
how can i solve that??
I'll send you a touch CWM kernel that I have still kicking around. I hear it does wonders for giving your Note new life. You should try it. I'll send it to you.
Or you could just learn how to read, and flash Abyss Kernel 4.2 and wipe from there. Should I post links too?

so you arent bricked then
if you can bet into cwr to install a gb kernel then rstoire if not you wil lneed to use pc odin to flash a rom
Did you wipe cache, dalvik, and factory reset?
Upgrading from GB to ICS will usually loop if you don't reset the phone.
Do not wipe cache, dalvik, or factory reset
In fact, stay away from CWM and use PC-Odin to flash a stock image.

if i should Reflash stock ROM with ODIN which ROM i should select, pls help me out
gt- n7000, ROOTED, ics 4.0.4, base- N7000DDLRI, KERNEL- SPEEDMOD
Hi there,
Are you still able to go CWM? if you are still able to, make a Nandroid backup, wipe dalvik cache and cache partition and reboot recovery and system and check if your phone's able to bypass the Samsung log after. Give it a time as well to wait.. perhaps 10 mins or so.
By the way I'm just curious, what did you do to make your phone stuck to it's samsung logo in the first place?
still same prob
Thanks for the quick reply yes im still able to go to cwm 1. wiped dalvik 2. wiped cache partition 3. rebooted recovery and system
still phone's unable to bypass the Samsung logo
i just flashed call recorder zip from cwm after that im facing this problem pls help me
Can you post call recorder thread link you tried to flash?

Try installing the main rom you had without doing "wipe data/factory reset", but with dalvik cache and cache wipe.
ok, I am not pro enought to figure out what's happening in zip.
Id recommend factory reset on safe kernel, or reflashing rom, then reflash safe kernel.
Considering I have no clue on zip, a clean install might be called for. On safe kernel and safe kernel recovery a format system/data might be needed to fully clean this stuff out. But I am not sure about that.
Why do you need call recording anyway?
edit: all at own risk ofc

How to clean wipe completely for OS upgrade

I am on Stock ICS and Jelly bean update will be rolled out soon by samsung.
Now i want to completely wipe out everything on my phone and do a company like fresh update to jellybean OS.
So what is the correct procedure for this ? And, i assume i have to compulsorily use Kies.
Yes because JB might only come on kies and not as OTA.
Flash a safe kernel (Philz) and go to mounts and storage > format /data, cache, preload, emmc ( internal storage) reboot.
So would still be possible to update even though you are not on a stock kernel
yes kies upgrade even on custom kernel

C'mon guys you are not being very helpful. All OP wants to do is do a SAFE factory reset WITHOUT flashing a custom kernel.
2 options - Flash Philz Temp recovery and wipe on that, or flash Philz wipe data/factory reset zip file. Both are SAFE and will not alter stock status of phone. I can provide links if needed...

Ok, forget about wiping then..... i wont do it.
But i can safely upgrade to Jelly bean via Kies right - Without any fear of bricking.... ? (BTW, i believe kies wipe the phone clean before installing new OS, but i can B wrong)
Yes you can upgrade via kies safely. It may most probably wipe your phone as this may need a repartitioning.
don't listen this freaking punk !
if you want to factory restore your phone safely,
then
if you on "ass screw sandbitch" or "sweet gingerbread"
really simple,go on your dialler/phone and type this code:
*#7780# Factory Reset
*2767*3855# Full Factory Reset
(some differ from ics or GB,try to add *# before,ex:*#*#7780#)
and your phone is like a virgin ***** !
(this wipe everything on your phone !)
and for sure no psycholo fake brick on iCs (hahaha!!! i see an UFO over my house at 6hours!!,then 10 000 toxical ships says:hè a guys see an ufo!! it's real !!.
if you want a full list of code that do some magical things, search on this section, you will find it !

do a clean install after wiping /system /preload /data /cache /dalvik cache. make sure to do these wipes on safe kernel like Philz.

That may be overkill, I'd try just installing Philz kernel then wipe cache and dalvik, see of that clears it first, no need to reflash rom.
