Simple question; is it possible to install stock HTC apps on Google Edition? I.e. stocks, weather, email etc. I don't care about the widgets, just the app itself.

The better question is what apps can't be removed. Is there a particular app you don't want?

well google talk and connected media I dont need..
I recommend using Titanium Backup. You can backup the apps you think you don't need and then uninstall them. If you have issues or figure out you really did need them, you can easily restore the backup.

Sorry, l don't know about the stock calendar but I do know that there are 3rd party calendar apps that can do it. One is CalenGoo and I think it works well.
