Whats that white spot and how is this appeared.
it follows the path i touch on screen ! Slides, slight touches, everywhere !
at first i thought this was an hardware issue with the screen but when i tried to take an screenshot it was still there so its a software thing.
i dont know how it came and i dont remember seeing it last night when i using my phone.
any Ideas ?!

Hi guys,
Just bought this wonderfull device but i'm having some question about it. it seems that the right side of the display is less brighter then the left side. I tried a few images but it looks like the lights are just not brighter. I adjust the contrast and on the highest setting the screen seems to be ok .
I have included some pictures, in the last picture it's very noticable. As you can see the left Agenda and the right Contacten, Agenda is really bright Contacten not. What is your idea about it? Do you guys have the same?

The device is brand new 1 day old, can i return it or ask for a new? Thnx for your support...

Is your backlight on full? If not try it and see if you still have this 'issue'

If you just got it today does that mean you applied the screen protector today? Sometimes it takes a bit of use to sit flat on the screen and so could give such an effect.

No didn't applied it yet. Thought I wait so I'm able to return it. I will try a few new patterns. But you don't have this problem?

Whenn having it full it seems to be less. When having it on less you really see the difference.

No, just checked mine. I can't say it's obvious from your pics and unfortunately your last pic seems unavailable. If it is darker over the "Contacten" word then I can't see that this is a wallpaper issue, since that is a toolbar.

I thought this for a small while.
Try turning your screen to landscape, has the slight difference down one side changed with rotation?
If so it is probably just the shading applied to some screens by Microsoft, for example the contacts list and email lists have a colour graduation, white on the left and then a slight blue tint towards the right.
Open up pocket Word, this is a completely white screen, no graduation, do you see the problem now?

Hello everyone.
On my Galaxy S I9000 a strange thing is happening.
I usualy see it when I have a white background...
It's a little bit complicated to explain it, but I always see an Android keyboard in the background. It's really hard to see it, but i can see the keyboard with all the letters if i focus my eyes on the screen.
So here's my question, is it a screen issue? I tried to wipe everything and to change rom, but no changes...

Looks like you're suffering from screen burn-in effect, sadly it's permanent and irrepairable. You can find more info on this on wikipedia.

It happens specially in AMOLED screens, so it should happen in S2 aswell.
There's nothing you can do, it's strange that it's a keyboard, did you use whatsapp a lot?
Could u post a picture? It does not have to be a burned in screen. If it is u could always replace the screen which doesnt cost alot.
I have a problem. When the phone is located for example on a table. This touch screen responds very hard (when it is in the horizontal position). when phonei is in the a vertical position, the screen works very well.

but when i connect to my PC i cant use my phone
maybe erro from hardware but i think u should tick off gloves mode in setting

so i decided to buy this phone but after reading this issue i kinda changed my mind but i thinks this may work
i bought a Xperia Tipo for my baby brother last week and it has touch sensitive issues just like SP when it placed horizontal ( i watched the Utube Videos and it looks exact the Same) but i found a little Mod App called (Touch Calibrate) i want you test it for me and say that if that worked for you or not!

Touch Irresponsive, Screen Freezes
Like a lot of users, I am also having problems with the xperia SP's touch screen. The touchscreen becomes randomly irresponsive. Sony acknowledges the problem and suggests:
"This have now been investigated and if you experience this problem I advice you to contact your local support team to have your phone calibrated at a repair center."
The problem is in live in Bangladesh and they do not have official Sony tech support centres. Does anyone know how to do the touch screen calibrations ? Any DIY solutions will be highly appreciated.

Hello i have bought a used xperia Z. I noticed it has about 5 white stains on the display. You can only see the stains on light color (white,yellow,green etc.) Black color look normal. Are the white stains (dots ) on the display a big problem? It look a little bit like moisturized.Did anyone have similar problem? i will try to throw on photos later.Anyone similiar with this problem? Tried using dead pixel fix form play stor, it doesnt help anything.

they are stuck pixel sometimes working and sometimes ... and won't destroy other pixels (it s usual issue on lcd displays)
But if they are not annoying for ur eyes leave them cause fast flashing the screen and such solutions don't solve anything.
but sony will replace if it has warranty

Hi. very new big problem. My power button started working badly ( its taking clicks wrong) sometimes it counts as a click and the restart menu comed up and sometime it just doesnt react what do ? It is on warranty

it s used phone and i don't know what did happened for it
maybe last user modified it or was working not properly
so best choice is to take it to official service
however u can first use PC Companion app to repair firmware if these problems be in software this can solve all of them

LOL the buttons work now correctly biggest problem is that iuf i put the display on full brightness it stars flashing and when it turns on the screen flashes really bad too
As you can see in the attached files there's a 2 vertical lines. But I only use 1 finger to draw that. That's the reason why I can't create a message using swipe because as the finger tip passed on that region the swipe is cut off. Anyone experiencing this? I'm on last version of MM.
