[REQ] small app to reply to A whatsapp message - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
Is possible to make an app to reply a whatsapp message? For example we can use floating notification to read a message during a game or navigation but we can't reply. Exist any metod to reply with a popup Windows or with a small app?

not sure if you need Paranoid Framework to get that running, but Halo is Opensource.

If you are root you can use this widget:
Widgets for Whatsapp™ (ROOT!)
And in small app menu press on "plus" button, widget and then select the new widget.
It doesn't work very well, but works.

Can Quick Panel shortcuts be changed in ICS?

In ICS, sliding down from the notification area shows a panel of shortcuts WiFi, BT, GPS, etc. Can these be modified? I would like to take one out and add a different one.

I guess I don't know how to do that. Can you provide more details? Are you saying there's an app in the Play Store do this?

I forgot you might not have that apk if you cannot move those short cuts to the left. If you have a rooted phone then you can install this apk from the following thread:

Halo

I'm really liking the new ROM, but I am curious what Halo does? Is it just a faster way to launch certain apps? The app says is optimized for Paranoid Android, but I assume you tweaked it to work well with AOIP. Help? Thanks.

Its reads notifications with you whitelist them and can open them in a floating window also you can add up to 6 apps and use them as a shortcut and they will open in a floating window. For example if you was on tube and you got a text you can text that person back without it interfering with your youtube activity.

Go to aoip settings and go to halo setting turn it on ypu can also customize it and when your done slide down in the notificarion tray you shoyld see a circle press it and it should be on your home screen. Now you need to double tap to drag it where you please.

I get double notifications for Threema/Whatsapp

Hi there,
when I lock my Mate S I eventually get notifications from threema and Whatsapp. The Threema notifications are always doubled, the exact same notification and for Whatsapp I get group notification for every single message with the sender and for the group chat with the counter of the messages.
I know from some other posts some of you have also problems like this. Has anybody found a launcher and lockscreen combination to fully disable the stock lockscreen? I currently have the Smart Launcher installed and I love it, but when you activate the lockscreen the stock lockscreen stays on top or beneath it, even when you disable it in the Themes Section of the settings.

Edit: Apparently that only did work 1 day, the bug appeared again. Someone got another idea?

App needed you can't totally hide it smart guy..
On P10 with Oreo you can hide it..
Go to settings, apps..
Activate system settings and go to Android System.
There you select Notifications and activate or deactivate what you want.

On Mate 10 / 10 Pro this method doesn't work. Only with - Hide "running in the background" Notification - you can do it.

Hi. How do you get rid of the notification when you clear out recents. It says "Your device is now in optimal condition" Very annoying! It will be closer to optimal condition once I get rid of that notification!

Didn't work. Maybe I did not disable the right option. If you got it to stop the notification about optimal condition please let me know exactly what you did. Thanks.

Didn't stop this notification.
Honestly, I don't know why this notification is so annoying.
Anyway don't focus on optimal condition... It's something to do 1 time a week max

Don't long press an app icon. I only see that if I long press an icon. Otherwise from playing around with settings I have not come across any way to disable it.

You can install an alternative Home launcher, such as APEX launcher, or NOVA launcher. Both support home screen layout importing, so you don't have to re-arrange apps the way you have them. Widgets will need to be re-made though.
There are more settings available on these apps and you can easily set them both up to look like the stock launcher, or you can set it up how you prefer. I used to use APEX but no longer find the need for it myself.
