AT&T Splash Screen - Galaxy Tab Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Crazy request but does someone have the AT&T startup animation for this device they can link to the file?
Thanks in advance

I think you are referring to the start up logo, not boot animation?
There is where the carrier branding usually goes. And I think it is part of the bootloader and it is best not mess with bootloaders.

Sorry, meant the animation. If you have the zip for the stock boot animation that would be appreciated.

Is there anyway to change it? I hate looking at the X with an unlocked lock underneath it.
I am not talking about the boot animation.

Hello, I got an Galaxy S with carrier customizations, and the animated boot logo is ugly as hell. Could anyone send me the stock (animated galaxy S thing) and say where to replace it on the phone?
Thanks!

Remove boot logo

Hey guys. Just got my unlock code from vodafone but does anyone know how to remove the boot animation so I can have a stock phone. Looking for a solution without root.

Me too but I have a mate 8 with ugly unicom dl00 splash and boot screen how to change it.
One Q:
How many times do u reboot a day?
I think they want to set it to the default boot logo so it looks like a unbranded phone due to it being unllocked

I'm no expert here so don't take my word for it, but I believe the boot logo is on your SIM card.
I say that because I bought an "unlocked" Note 8 from Amazon. When I first booted it up, it had the TMobile bootup logo. I thought I was going to have to return the phone because of it. But I went ahead and put my Verizon SIM card in and rebooted, and the TMobile bootup went away and now I have the Verizon logo on bootup. So that makes me think it is on the SIM and not in the ROM or the phone. I know that a new ROM can make the carrier boot logo disappear, but I am not sure how that works.
I am sure there are folks on here that can tell you exactly what you are asking that have much more knowledge than I!

It's not actually on the sim card the phone has all of them already listed in it. When you put a sim card in it just chooses the correct file to boot.

Ahh, those sneaky devils-I did not know that, thank you for the info!
You would have to install the stock Samsung OS onto your device. As the Cell Provider Logo is attached to the Cell Providers moddified version of the Samsung OS.
