[Q] CyanogenMod 7 Network Issues?

Hi, I flashed the latest CM7 Nightly ROM onto my LG Thrill 4G, and for some reason the Mobile Network isn't working. I can get the wireless network to work though. I tried the APN thing, but when I click save, it redirects me back to the APN menu and doesn't save. It's just blank. Should I try re-flashing the ROM? Or is there a solution to this? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I would appreciate it if someone actually helped.

What version did you flash?
Which baseband and are you on?
Did you search this forum before posting?

If you are on a GB baseband, ie V20/V21 than you need to flash the P920 CM7.
If you already installed the wrong wrong, than just flash the correct baseband, a V10 baseband.
Don't know how many times this had been posted around Here but here it is once more:
GINGERBREAD BASEBAND: P920 CM7
FROYO BASEBAND: P925 CM7.

Yeah already figured it out I didn't realize that since I'm on gingerbread I can flash mainly O3D Roms

Tethering proplem gb 2.3.3

I have a tethering proplem since i installed semaphore 2.5 iam running gingerbread 2.3.3 stock when i enable 3g tethering gives me error but when i enable tethering with out 3g works fine olz help as possible as u can thank you all

Did you try another kernel as well? Maybe it's a release issue. You could try a newer build like gb2.3.6.
It could be a modem issue too.

Wireless N (5ghz missing after installing ROMs)

Good Evening All,
I've search XDA and the internet and I would like some help, please...
After installing several different ROMs I still cannot connect to the 5ghz wireless network in my home. I have an ASUS Dark Knight RT-N66U with two separate networks 2.4Ghz/5Ghz.
I've tried this from ROCKET ROM JellyBean v3 (which is my preferred ROM) but no luck. I've rooted my wife's SGSII and she's running SlimBean and cannot see the 5Ghz network either.
The strange this is that our friend has a SGSII running stock GB and the device sees the network...
I'd hate to have to got back to ICS (oh, BTW, I'm currently running Ultimate N7000 XXLSC JellyBean 4.1.2 v5.1).
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You should play with the router channels a bit.

It also depends on regions. Not all regions use the same wifi frequency so try to change modem.

CDMA Sprint Roms?

I'm really confused on whether some roms on here such as cyanogenmod work with the CDMA model of the SGT
For instance on cyanogenmod p1c
Only goes up to CM 10 nightlys but on the GSM one it goes to 11
Are there any ROMS out there for CDMA 4.4 kitkat?

Terenceng has a download for the p1c. I am not sure if it will work on sprint though. As of right now, there is no mobile data, app2sd, and video. If you want to download the rom, it's over in the galaxy tab development sub forum.

3G problem with kitkat roms

Hi my friend has a problem with his S3 mini his first custom rom flash was cyangenomod 11.0 4.4.2 he had no problems apart from battery drain, he has flashed a few other kit Kat Roms had no problems, just a bit rubbish so he flashed carbon 4.4.2 and his 3g did not work ever since, no kit Kat Roms work with 3g any more since carbon, he is currently using pacrom 4.3.1 with no problems, but he would like to use carbon 4.4.2 as this rom has particular features which are better than other roms. Is there away to fix this? He ask on Maclaw (novafusion) but no reply.

most of people dont experience this. i have novafusion cm11.
make sure flashed with twrp 2.7
make sure he have latest baseband.
and send a email to [email protected]
dont know if did.
but im sure i read about something manual apn settings. someone must know here. gl

make sure to wipe correctly, maybe try a full wipe and clear dalvic afterwards

Right I've got him to flash the latest baseband but still no luck the preferred network has changed from 4g to 3g so it has done something, I got him to email novafusion, but he said that he's had no reply, stock rom works with 3g, but 3g does not work at all with kitkat roms
