Hboot with windows 8.1 - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Has anybody found the right mix to use Windows 8.1 and adb?
I have tried so many different options and none seem to work.

I am running out of choices, I have been putting this off but I think that is the on option. The problem is I know as soon as I do they will come out with a driver that will work. It is the way it always works.

thx for the info....now I know not to update

At least 6 people I know had the same issue. The only solution we found was for them to downgrade to 8.0.

Can we get a little more info. I'm guessing you have wiped everything so no boot. But is the bootloader unlocked? What flavor One are we doing tonight? Can you boot to recovery? Can you get to fastboot? What kind of computer and OS version?

Android SDK will get you ADB driver so the phone should be recognized. You can also flash Team Win Recovery and the USB support is working just has to be plugged into the computer upon boot. You can then copy over a ROM and done.
Also ATT or Dev or Tmo version?
---------- Post added at 08:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:06 PM ----------
This also has the driver faster than SDK http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183942 all in one tool kit and will do team win as well

Correct the problem is my downloads are 8 days and I have a very good conection, the HTC servers are getting hammered might be a while like a day for another link or for them to calm down. It's 990 megs. Might be faster to do the all in one tool kit and install drivers and then install team win recovery and then just flash a ROM.

Fastboot drivers for W8.1?

My bootloader is locked and I was trying to bump up to 4.4.4
Problem is I have to flash my kernel manually via fastboot and my computer isn't recognizing my X in fb mode. I've done manual flashes on Windows 8 before but its been a while since flashing and my laptop is up to 8.1 now.
So my questions: Do the fastboot drivers for the X not work properly on 8.1 and if there are new ones where can I get them?
I've already been to the moto site to download the Motorola Device Manager but it still doesn't fix my problem. Without the kernel the phone boots but its all kinds of buggy. Luckily I was able to Nand back to 4.4.2 and everything is stable. If you can help me that would be greatly appreciated... And if not then I'll just have to wait on Sunshine.

Sorry if that was not the answer you were looking for. I was trying to figure out what you did. Making sure you did not try and downgrade your bootloader. If you need to flash your kernel and your PC won't recognize your device why not use flashify app or similar to flash it without a PC?

I'm pretty sure you can't flash a stock kernel onto a locked bootloader device without using fastboot to do it. I haven't tried it but I'm also not trying to risk it. I was just wondering if the fastboot drivers were compatible with Windows 8.1 is all.

N6 not being recognized by Android Beta Program, any solutions?

I have a Nexus 6 and would like to try the N Previews but the Beta Program won't recognize my N6. Anyone have this same problem and does anyone know of a solution to this?

ignore the solution.. just go grab the N preview manually and flash it manually. there, issue solved.

I have seen this option but I am seeing a lot of people talking about problems with android n and twrp that have to do with encryption. If I'm rooted running the latest twrp and manually flash dev 3 preview with say the wug tool everything should run smooth?

well, id stay away from the tool kit. but manually flashing it the right way shouldnt give you any issues.
I have the same issue with my new Nexus 6. Beta program doesn't see it, Android Device Manager doesn't see it. Really odd issue. I've looked around and it seems to be a problem for a few people, but I haven't been able to find any solution yet.

I'm on a custom ROM now, but even bone stock right out of the box it wouldn't show up in ADM or N Beta.
Ah, rom status was my suspicion. Mine wasn't recognized either.
