stock messenger have emoji - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Like the title does the stock messenger support emoji?

No but I hear with the new 4.2.2 update it should be with the stock messenger and by the way that should be rolling out In Nevruary.

On 4.1.2- not that I have seen. However, I haven't used the stock sms app since Froyo. I use handcent, which does support emoji.

If I recall correctly.. from 4.1 and up you can SEE emoji but using them is really tricky and probably not even possible on the HTC One. If you type "up" or something in STOCK android you'd get an up arrow emoji.. not very efficient at all. I haven't seen this on my One.

If you download the Google keyboard, go to the keyboard settings, then add-on dictionaries and enable emoji dictionary, you'll get the keyword emoji thing. It sucks and I've never used it.

Get the app Textra and download their emoji library. Shows iOS emojis and allows you to send them seamlessly.

Yeah, i managed to go out of my way to make sure the keyboard defaulted to HTC Sense input, and now i do see the emoji! I think mine was defaulting to Swype before..

man i'd roll stock if there were an easier way to use and view emojis iPhones style.

thats why i linked the emoji enabler , then download the multi ling keyboard and it has true emoji list

I use Kii Keyboard. It combines most of the keyboards out today into one. With 4.1.2 emojis are built into the system but you would need to use an emoji enabled keyboard to use them. ????

Original post:
I am attaching a modified version of Samsungs TouchWiz launcher.
Thank rolle3k for making this work on non-Samsung phones.
I have changed the layout of the appdrawer to make all rows fit on the screen. Right now you can't see the application names, but I will look to fix that and change the number of rows to show or something like that.
If you want screenshots... let anyone do them, I'm too tired right now and have to get some sleep.
Hope you like it, have fun!
Works great! Is it possible to change the fade in/out speed when opening the app launcher? Thanks for your good work!

And yes, no Samsung widgets?
Cant wait t'ill there gets some more settings.
It's my default launcher!
Sry i ask, but is this same as this here?
To add to bottom bar: open app draver press menu, edit, drag items there.

The line that is missing is right under the "sticky" bar on the bottom where the drawer button is also in. But I'll try to use that as a base.

Touchwiz calculator taken from the leaked GalaxyS 2.3.2 ROM.
I changed the icon to our aosp icon because I hate the touchwiz icon, but love the calculator.

miui keyboard? thoughts?

I'm currently using miui 1.8 and the android keyboard is terrible on it. There was a beta version of the new swiftkey a few weeks ago but they shut it down. The only thing close to that would be A.I. type beta. However, its not as intuitive as swiftkey. Unless you want to pay for swiftkey or flexT9, I would recommend just downloading the new swype 3.7 from the forum

Smart keyboard pro is where its at! Swift key is alrite but nowhere near as good as smart keyboard in my opinion. Different strokes for different folks i guess

Unfortunately, as Caseyk621 mentioned above, the only way I was able to get the app not to FC was to leave the stock app in there. Maybe something to do with the ROM as it is a hit and miss for lollipop apps at this point and the ways to get the apps to work are different for everyone. As an example, I have not found a way to make the lollipop calendar app to work and I've tried every way imaginable. So, at this point I am over it, back to stability and functionality for me. The rest of the eye candy will come later. Inbox is pretty cool though and is now my daily driver. The new Play Music app is awesome and the new Google Now launcher ties everything together nicely.
