[Q]Softkeys? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can I disable the two buttons and enable softkey om my HTC One? Know I can enable softkeys with just edit build.prop. with this sentence: qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Edit: I have tried Softkey enabler on play store bit without luck, the device won't reboot.

Now I have tried to edit the build.prop bit without luck. It just reboots and nothing happened.

Use an AOSP ROM for Softkeys. I don't have this phone anymore but I don't think HTC Sense supports Softkeys nav. I could be wrong but I'm certain it doesn't.
Hope that helped

Miui options boxes

Is there a way to change the way options open up? Like when pressing menu in the browser, that box is extremely different from stock/cm6 and is hard to get used to but everything else about this rom is way cool.
Also where could I find the stock font to flash or push?

I think I could provide a non root solution. But it would create 2 types of settings app on your phone. Not 100% sure on this though...
What is you solution?

Isn't there an option in settings>display and buttons and gestures to set a capacitive button as menu? I'm running a port of the One on my HTC Evo LTE, but don't know if official gas it or if our devs just threw it in. I know it existed in the sense 4 software.

Root your phone, unlock bootloader and install custom recovery, then install XPOSED framework and install the menu button mod. Otherwise install a custom Rom with the setting enabled.
Or if you don't want to do any hacking, wait for HTC to possibly fix this.

They have been discussing this issue here. Check that thread out. It's because of mods installed from different fw.

Power saver hide notification JB 4.3

Why have they disable this option
You could click this off in the app manager before and now it's greyed out
Anyone able to get rid of this row?

May be we need a seperate mod to disable it from notification list
No idea why they have disabled in 4.3
Annoying that this has to be hacked out

Try using Jmz Power Saver from the Play Store

I doubt that app will be able to control the CPU as the built in version
They just need to allow the user to get rid of the icon notification
The apps only use is to simply hide the power saver notification icon.

This app needs a rooted device
I'd rather not

AOSP style recent apps

Hi,
I'd like to change my recent apps from HTC style to AOSP style. I remember editing a line in my build prop to achieve this a few months back bit cant remember the exact details.
I know you can do it through xposed, but would rather avoid that route.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.
