For what its worth still getting 12.000 on ARHD 12.0. Quadrant is a outdated test which doesn`t say much about performance of the phone. Its real user xperience that counts imo. Did you close all cached progs before running the test?

Nor ill clear caches to c what happens and its real quick on real life basis ill come back with results

Well im getin still getin 4thousand o quadrant its the cpu whats letting it down on the tests may i ask what set up do u use to get 12thousand on quadrant

Do you have power saver on? Also use ondemand instead of performance.

Yes power saver is on and im using msm gov thingy

Power Saver caps the CPU speeds at 1.1GHz.. and MSM-DCVS is not the best gov for most applications.

[APP][EF02] Overclock

Tegrak overclock works on EF02 allowing up to 1.3ghz
Tegrak Ultimate can UV/OV as well
Don't see this here yet so just gonna let everyone here know that tegrak overclock has been updated and supports our epics. I also wanted to set up a thread to discuss internal voltages and such that our gingerbread epics like. It also appears we can only go up to 1.3ghz.
I reccomend buying tegrak ultimate to support this awesome developer
The free version of tegrak can be used but does not apply after reboot.

Oh nice, how'd you come across this? Also we need source OC if I'm correct so is this actually possible? (Please do correct me if I'm mistaken. )

It works and shows in quadrant I got 3304 1.3ghz is a little unstable but 1.252ghz is perfect. The evo 3d got overclocked without source we just needed some love from tegrak

It works. 1.3ghz makes my phone crash. Probably because the voltage isn't set high enough cause it works fine on overclock froyo kernels. I am getting 3300+ on quadrant @1.252ghz w/journaling on though.

The hardware hasn't changed, so the simple answer is, whatever worked for your individual phone on froyo and eclair... Your values will be different than everyone else's, however, so a new thread won't really yield anything useful, just like the other threads.
As discussed before, any discussion of OC and UV settings its like trying to determine a universal diet for everyone - we're all human, but we won't all be perfectly healthy on the same diet. Sorry for the rant, but this particular topic needs to die already...

great news...can't wait untill the source code is released for gingerbread, so our great epic devs can really get this ball rolling, BTW, BIG THANKS to all of our epic developers out there, you guys are doing a great job.........
but i think i'll stick with overclocked froyo till source code

Same here, but with v10d update. Score increased to 5045.
Maybe something goes wrong with my 4X HD. I explain ; when i first bought it, i updated to v10d, and the quadrant was about 4950 to 5130.
And today, i tested again a quadrant it's about 3150 !! (and i tested it 4 times, no more than 3150 each time...)
I have a rooted 4X HD, v10d, does anyone knows why my quadrant is so bad ?
EDIT : strange, i've juste made a quadrant again, and i obtained 4878...
Is there a link between the quadrant result and the battery percentage ? Cause when i previously made the quadrants (result 3150) my batery was 5%, and i made the last one with 51% batery.
Strange anyway...

Not strange, vice versa. You can access your power saver settings in System settings>Power saver>Turn Power Saver on at x%. So I'm 100% sure that 3150 score was on Power Saver mode.
EDIT: I did Quadrant on Power Saver mode. Score is the same. So I'm wrong about this. Strange In any case Quadrant score is a lottery. My three tests - 5045, 4723, 4910.

im on stock 4.2.1 rooted.
used nexus tool kit to temp boot into TWRP only to flash motley A33 kernel.
left all settings alone.
adjusted CPU speed from 1500 to 1700 and left everything else alone.
with my daily use i can get about 2 days of battery power mainly streaming netflix at night for about 3 hours for super natural.
this bench mark is fairly consistent at 1700, if i drop to 1500 CPU then the score drops back to around 5500.

Quads don't really mean that much overall but I was thinking it could be higher overclocked.

Make sure to close all apps in recent apps. Those that's getting 12 to 13k benchmark results reboot their phones 1st before doing the benchmarks. And power saver should be off when doing it.
As has been said countless times quadrant scores mean absolutely nothing whatsoever.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
It means nothing to an average user but it means everything for a true gamer. I mean like in your PC. Having high benchmark scores is useless for a person who only use his computer to facebook, twitter, video streaming, edit documents etc.
But for those who use adobe products, Play high end games, Run emulators etc. Every bit of it means everything.
So please guys don't apply the "Benchmarks score means nothing" to every user you find here in xda because each and everyone of us here uses our device differently.
Benchmarks are an important tool. If you think otherwise, you are the tool.

Benchmarks are only useful if you know the governors set in the kernel will trigger a higher performance mode. If it doesn't, then benchmarks will just show there's either a weird kernel setting, and not raw performance.
Yes, they are absolutely not a be all and end all. They are a tool, and like any tool you need to know how to use them.
