With icône: http://www.mediafire.com/?akosc5zinc6z8c6
Without icône: http://www.mediafire.com/download/7xsb9ul5npje544/DISTORTED_NORMAL_BLINDS_SIZE.zip
HOW TO
1) décompile the UxpNxtLockScreen.apk you will have this:
2) go to RES....then VALUES folder, you will have this:
3) if you want change number total of BLINDS and the BLINDS affected by finger touch
open the integers.xml file with "notepad++" and change what you want
4) if you want to make more DISTORDED BLINDS open the fractions.xml file file with "notepad++" and change the number...
original is approximately 300%...for my MOD i change it to 1000%
you can change for less...or more...but i can look ugly if you ad too more
don't forget the % at the end
5) OPTIONAL if you want change Shortcut slider position for camera and music...
open the dimens.xml file with "notepad++" and change the lockscreen_widget_slider_margin_top value to 475.0dip
this change will move down both SHORTCUT and CLOCK...
then...to reset the clock to it's original position you must change it's layout to independant position
go to RES....then LAYOUT folder
open the w_clock.xml file with "notepad++"
on the first line...delete the content of android:layout_marginBottom and write100.0dip like this
You will have your new shortcut position:
6) save and recompile your UxpNxtLockScreen.apk ]and move to /system/app with rw-r--r-- permission....enjoy
the first one looks really good, maybe you can make the lockscreen without clock, hiding camera/music icon? :cyclops:
doesn't work on my rom (ROM-Assaye)
I just get the aosp lock screen.
Can you tell me how you modded it for the first version with the small blinds, because I really like that and would like to mod my own lockscreen.
thanks
Will post the HOW TO next week
If you want give me your lockscreen files...i will MOD IT

Thanks, working great!
To the clock font: just copy the system/fonts to the pc, open the fonts to find out what the ls font is (on windows there is always a preview), take a font you like, rename it to the ls clock font name and replace it in system fonts.
I think this should work after a reboot. Changing the style should be possible in one of the xmls. Maybe you can redirect the font of the ls clock in one of the xmls too (should work). But the other way is easier.
What if you change the blinds and affected by touch blinds to zero? Would be interesting!

Of course it works on other resolutions, you just have to use different sizes for the images .
But I don't think it is possible for WM6.1, as it doesn't use custom images for its taskbar, it's only possible to change the color of its taskbar.
Whats the name of that launcher like thing on the right of your home screen?

Bye
I used to do this with some of my eariler builds.
While it works great, it only works with a single wallpaper. So it isn't good to cook in or else users can't customize the theme with their own backgrounds.
Themers could incoporate this into their themes through if they include a wallpaper.
Hey !
Thanks you for your work !
Butmy Phone is XDA EXEC ... hat mean 2 desktop LANDSCAPE and PORTRAI.
Did u try to use an IMAGE .PNG Transparent ( can creat by Photoshop !) ? ... i think it will help !
I will try it, ... hehe, now my computer not install Photoshop
Have fun !
like what i've said a dozen times before, a transparent taskbar png and softkeybar png will NOT make it FULLY transparent... it will make it translucent... even if you set your Threshold Alpha transparency to 255.
for LANDSCAPE (qvga)... basically it's the same.
take a 320x240 image and crop the upper portion to 320x18 and lower portion to 320x34.
hmm, now you got me interested with first link from your sig(clever letters usage, btw ).
nice, very nice place.
also - that screen above is interesting, too(i thought it's wad at first).
upd: i like your taste, man:
.
could you share these titanium themes?

Thanks to M10 tools, Liamstears, kalagas, Capy and Virtuos team. May have to mount data and system in recovery before flashing. HTC weather lockscreen background modded, Htc People, mail, freindstream, weather widgets transparent. Status bar transparent. Plenty of color icon changes and alittle bit more.

Hi trock62, great work!!!
I've got a question about the "Personalize" button on the home screen. The one next to Phone. It has the Personalize icon but on button press it loads the internet app. Is this by design?
Also I've been looking for a better locking ring but can't seem to find one that works with VU 2.35, there are plenty that work with Android 2.3.4 but not in VU. Is there something about VU that causes a problem?
Thanks for a great theme!!!
Personalize button is set in the tweaks to an app of your choice. Change the lock ring is is fusion and idlescreenbase.sold using m10 tools

1. Image needs to be resized to EXACTLY 540x960. You can do this in any image editor.
2. Flip the image upside down.
3. The images MUST be PNG format.
Once you have this done, you want to grab the IdleScreen_Weather.apk out of the rom youre usings zip folder. Its located in system/apps. Once you get the apk, you want to open up m10 and click load file. Navigate and select the IdleScreen_Weather.apk.
Once this loads, you want to click the tab that says m10 Files. At the bottom of the screen, youll see where it says Decode Images, make sure you check that box.
You want to double click the Lockscreen_weather_bg.m10. It will ask if you want to decompile it. Click yes. At this point, youll be brought to the next tab which is Editor.
From here you want to expand until you see Textures. Under there you will see three spots labeled Texture. Click that and it will bring up an image to the right. Right click on this image and click "Show in Explorer". You will see three png files in here. You want to replace each one with the images you created earlier. This is important though. Make sure you copy the name of each file youre replacing EXACTLY. Im not responsible for any errors you make on renaming.
Once you get all three of the images replaced, go back to start and then save .apk Make sure to use the same name.

I'm putting together a theme for a KJ3 Gingerbread ROM I'm building and having a couple issues. I cannot get the status bar to change at all. I've got a status bar image sitting in framework-res.apk, SystemUI.apk, and it is still solid black. I cannot figure out what I need to change to use the custom image.
Second question is how to set the default wallpaper. I have default_wallpaper.jpg in framework-res.apk but every time I flash my ROM zip, it uses the default Samsung Blue Sea Live wallpaper. Any ideas on how I can change the default?
Sorry, this is the first ROM I'm actually putting together myself.

1. In framework-res.apk/res/layout/status_bar_latest_event_content.xml there are two things to look at; the line with
Code:
android:id="@id/title"
controls the title of the notification. "android:textColor" is what you need to modify, and the format of the number is "#AARRGGBB"
2. Then there is the line with
Code:
android:id="@id/text"
which controls the description of the notification. Do the same thing you did with the title.

It will be set to a live wallpaper
Change that to @null

It is in the layout folder of systemui, statusbar xml.i believe its line 1 and 19 that need edited there is either a hex color of ff000000 a or a ref. To black but it had to be changed to a drawable so it points to the .9 .i will look when I get home.

Sorry I should have stated that I did change the xml but it's still black. It may be due to an improper .9 image. I will try a different one tonight and see if it works.

You are correct, that is what I told him to do. He said it didn't work and he has a hypothesis of why it won't, the .9.png thing. If that doesn't fix it then I just want to take a look at his SystemUI.apk 'cause I don't feel like guessing and trying all these different "fixes".
same png image has to be change to a transparent one...
Just as an update, I was able to get the status bar working finally after finding a proper status bar image, thanks to DemonWav.
Also, thanks again to TRusselo for showing me the way for the default wallpaper.
Hi! I recently discovered the ssLauncher. It is a really nice and customizable launcher. It is design seems to be inspired by WP7, but it has more similarities to the WP7 APPS than the launcher itself. It has a clean and simple style and you scroll sideways to get to more pages/ catagories. I made this thread so we can share layouts and ideas, similar to the Launcher7 thread.
ssLauncher is avaible free in the Android Market here
I can start with my current homescreen

Subscribing to see the potential.
Used to have to use desktop Visualizer just to do the label icons themselves, without the slick panel animation that ss does.

It works for me with both png and jpg. You have to apply a shortcut style which has the icon shown, select style and scrolldown to see them

Nice one, good idea to just hide the navigator completely Gives it a clean look
Updated my layout a bit and added the zips for my layout for any1 to use
I'm the developer of the launcher.
I have found this thread yesterday and linked this on the ssLauncher blog, "chyk-ss.blogspot.com". (i cannot use link )
And i would like to give some tips to share your theme and layouts easily.
Tips are here, "chyk-ss.blogspot.com/2012/02/share-your-theme-and-layout.html".

App drawer
Still a work in progress. I tend to not use it like a magazine. What drew me to it was the ability to basically put anything I want anywhere plus the grids to line it up.

Where can we posts request/feature?
I need a quick access to the page because i have a lot of label.
What do you think about a quick scrolling label on the top(right and left) to go to a page.
Thanks a lot for this nice application. It's my favorite launcher.
Sorry for the off topic.
loving this launcher but can someone please explain what the "padding" feature means/is. sussed the rest out, just not sure what this means. thanks.....

No, there isn't, but I use pages as folders instead. You can put the apps you would've put in your folder in a page, then you can create shortcuts to the pages. I personally just swipe to get to my "folders "

If you look at my screenshot above, all those icons link to seperate folders using the app smart shortcuts.
If you click the shop icon this pops up

how did you make the icons that size bud because when i try to make anything bigger than 128x128 they shrink back down to 128x128 on my screen...?, I have all my folders sorted but I'm not sure how to make the custom icons. nice little folder application by the way, cheers....

I have my grid size slide bars for height and width all the way to the left I believe that is 5. My icon size is set to 100. I then set the icon and resize it to whatever I want making sure to only have the clickable area exactly tje size of the actual icon. I can screenshot it for you later if need be.

AOSP Lockscreen for Sony Xperia Z
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
This mod requires ROOT access!
If you like the swipe lockscreen, but would prefer the stock AOSP lockscreen over the Xperia Z "blinds" lockscreen, you can easily get it. For some, swiping up-down is difficult, some simply prefer the look. As a bonus, the annoying "swipe to unlock" text will be gone! Unfortunately if using AOSP lockscreen you won't be able to select a different wallpaper from settings, it will simply be matched with homescreen wallpaper.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Instructions to get AOSP Lockscreen:
Open any file explorer with root access
Navigate to "/system/app"
Rename "XperiaLockScreen.apk" to "XperiaLockScreen.bak"
Reboot & done
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Revert back to Xperia Lockscreen:
Open any file explorer with root access
Navigate to "/system/app"
Rename previously changed "XperiaLockScreen.bak" to original "XperiaLockScreen.apk"
Reboot & done
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Will have a play about with the keyguard_screen_tab_unlock.xml and try and get the clock to show too similar to how I did in 4.2.1
I don't think this is a mod,is a guide

@XperienceD: WOW man that looks awesome, can you mod the color of the lock too? I mean is it somehow theme-dependant, or can you set a custom color? If so, could you do a few and I can add them to first post or ofcourse you can make your topic if you wish. Also, what font is that on those screenshots, and how do you change it system-wide (I know you need whole family of fonts and do some replacements)?
@Ben Ling: I tried to change title but it won't let me.:crying:

Thanks, as for the colour I imagine it's just a simple xml edit, either in the colors.xml or a layout xml, I've never looked to change it so couldn't be specific.

I use SonySketch and replaced all the Roboto and SoMA fonts, which covers most of the system font I've found.

Is it possible to add Applikation shortcuts to the unlock circle?
Sent from my GT-P5100 using xda app-developers app
unfortunately no.. we would need some help from devs for that. would be nice to have tho.
I readed somewhere here and I tried and it works. You only need to delete the xperia lockscreen apk from the system folder. And then you have the stock lockscreen. I repeat, I tried this and works.

What apk did you modify the DPI of for your lockscreen?
Not sure what you mean, I have modified the DPI system-wide by modifying the build.prop value:
Code:
ro.sf.lcd_density=360
working on xperia zl... but wallpapers is missing
