[Q] HTC One - In/outgoing phone call problems - Cyanogenmod 10.1 - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Maybe you could help me
I installed Cyanogenmod 10.1 last sunday (version from 13th of july.). The first time I tried to call someone, there was no problem at all. An since then, everytime I try to call, no sound at all, even the ringtone before someone answer. It's the same if somebody try to call me, I answer, I hear nothing even if I activate the speaker. The volume is at the maximum. And after trying to make or receive a call, my smartphone is systematically rebooting...
I know there was some problem like this but after searching on the web, it seems like the most people who got this problem is only with outgoing calls...
Someone got an idea?? :crying:
Many thanks

Delayed Ringing

Hello,
Recently I have been noticing that my IIi appears to inform me of incoming calls rather late. When I wear my bluetooth headset I can hear the incoming call in my headset but it takes at least 5-7 seconds before the ringer on my phone starts ringing. By the time the ringer starts ringing to let me know of a phone call I have maybe 3-5 seconds to answer it before my voice mail picks up. Does anyone else experience this problem? Are there any solutions? It almost seems like the cpu just does not have the power to process the incoming call that quickly. Any help would be appreciated.
What headset are you using?
Does it have a delay without a headset?
On mine I get a delay with a headset that supports the handsfree profile (Jabra BT800) but not on a normal one, or without a headset.
My XDA2 did this also, but the XDA2 with WM2005 worked perfectly.
could be the time needed to find/load the ringtone ?
do you have caller id or ringtonex with different ringtones and/or pictures?
maybe loaded from memory card ?

I have the same problem with mine... I only get three rings to answer the phone - which can be pretty annoying!
I've not noticed whether having any form of headset makes a difference, though.
Ringing Delay
I upgaded to the latest version of software from 02 last week, since then I get what I can only describe as a "stutter" when the phone rings. I am also getting a lot of lost calls i.e the phone rings twice then says I have a missed call, but the people ringing me say that it goes to ansaphone ???

I have the same problems and the bluetooth flattens the battery in 4 hours. I used to have the XDA II with Sins cooked 2K3se and it was perfect, unfortunately I gave it to my son who won't give it back.
Hey, I have same problem, I got the latest ROM, and since then it got even worse. Does anybody knows how to fix the problem, modify ROM, or something, PLEase help.
Thank you.
the only solution i have to date is to change the answerphone delay, you can find your networks status codes here:

i changed mine to 30 secs to give me a better chance!

[Q] [SOLVED] reboot when incoming phone call

SOLVED.
Hi, this is my first post, so if this is not the right place to ask it, please move it to where it corresponds, and forgive me...
well the thing is, that i installed xdandroid (FRX07.1) on my topaz, using this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1178546
and it works almost perfect (BT working, Wifi working, GPS sometimes doesnt work, but normally yes, etc...) except for the little detail that when there is an incoming phone call, the call screen appears (sometimes with a little delay, but no problem) and when i slide the pick up phonecall button to the right, to pick up the phone call, it seems like it has really picked up the phone call, but i cant hear anything, and on seconds 8-9 of the phone call, the phone shutdowns and reboots to windows mobile.
I have already updated to the latest kernels files, but the problem keeps appearing, i dont know what to do (im a noob, sorry for that), so if anyone could help me, or know what it could be happening, i would really appreciatte it.
thank you very much (and sorry for my english, im spaniard)
fix
it's a bug, its in the buglist, you have to make an outbound call after you booted android. you can just call yourself, and you can receive calls.
had this problem myself too.
oh! seems i didnt read enough, thank you very much, michiel!!
outgoing call not possible
Hello,
same problem here. Also general no Sound over internal speakers.
A outgoing call after clean install not possible because the phone will reboot after 3-4 seconds ring.
The problem persists on all Builds, all Kernels, all SD-Cards.
Edit:
Problem is solved. the cause wa custum rom WM6.5 EVO.N-3.9.
With a other WM6.5 Custum Rom now works Gingerbrad with both Kernels (.27 or .35)

[Q] Small but enoying in call sound problem

Hi Everybody.
I wonder if anyone has the same problem: the thing is that after the Gingerbread update made to my Optimus black, whenever I make a call or receive a call, the first 2-3 seconds my mic is mute. I mean, the other person doesn't hear me for 2-3 seconds and almost all the time I get "some critics" because I don't salute, especially from my wife
So, does anybody else experience something similar? Is there a fix for this?
Thank you.
Try using "call delay patch". Its available in google play!!
Call delay patch is your answer....
search button..... just do it.....
Thank you all for your answers, but after days of testing with the app, the problem still persist on my phone

[Q] Incoming calls being dropped on Slim Rom

Hi
I've searched through this and other forums for a solution, but couldnt find one, although similar problems have been encountered.
I'm using a CM9 Slim series Rom (developer thread here). All seems to be good, except for the fact that all incoming calls are being dropped immediately. On the device, the call log does show a call was received, but the phone never rings, neither does the incoming call screen appears. Apart from the call log, there is no sign of the call.
On the callers side, the phone rings for half a second after which it is disconnected.
I approached the developer of the Rom (A_U) for some assistance, but havent heard back from him yet. I've also provided logs for this problem which you can see here.
If anyone knows any fix for this problem, do post. This rom would be useless for me without being able to receive call, even though everything else is supersmooth.

[Q] The infamous silent calls came back. Any solution?

I suffered from the silent phone calls in the past, but it was fixed with a HTC patch and everything was good... for a while.
I flashed ARHD90.1 on the day of release and it has been good.
However, just today when I go to make phone calls, I only get silence. No ring tone, no voice when the call is answered.
Is anyone else suffering from this issue recently?
Are there any solutions to this now?
