you are attempting to flash wrong ROM, look for SC-02B ROM in My Android Collections under ROM
Hey, I know this doesn't answer your question about getting info on your radio and bootloader, but if you're trying to install CM onto a Docomo I9000 you might want to read this...

I just got a Galaxy S but its branded from Any Call Provider from Korea its openline but I have no idea how to change firmware or roms or is it safe since its from korea.
I want to change roms and root it
I tried the root guide but there is no apply update.zip selection
Here is the version
PDA:M110S.DG14.0001
PHONE:M110S.DG07.1842.ST
TIA

Yes there is.
22.Can I flash an Asian ROM on my European device or vice versa?
Flashing should work without any problems. There are no known compatibility issues as of now. If any should arise, flashing back to Asian firmware is always possible.
Check your current ROM by dialing *#1234* to make sure you do not have a Korean variant of the phone (which is NOT compatible!).
Actually its not my concern if you read my post I've included my firmware and radio
PDA:M110S.DG14.0001
PHONE:M110S.DG07.1842.ST
It's different from all the firmware listed its from Korea so I want if I can make it to i9000JXXXX like that not this korean firmware

It's not really easy. That's why I'm asking if there are other people who try to flash on this korean version of SGS. I would love to flash this but if it gets bricked you are the one who will replace it

Now im lost, I thought you were able to confirm that your SGS is different from the one that comes from korea despite it being "Anycall" thats why I posted the quote.. altho I understand the step says Asia to Euro but the note at the end says make sure your not using a korean version of the phone, then you said that is not your concern.
The step may refer flashing an Asian FW to a Euro handset but it clearly states that you are not able to flash X FW if your handset is from Korea.
But yeah at the end of the day, its not yet possible to change the FW on a Korean based handset.
Sorry for that, I also got lost. So it solves my problem and I'm stuck with these korean firmware. Is ther a possibility of root?
As Per this site in pages 8 and above
they confirmed that they use superuse+su+busybox by using Odin3
http://forum.samdroid.net/f49/superuser-su-busybox-i9000-v-2-01-07-2010-a-1355/
Anyone can confirm?
I'm too annoyed with this different firmware
Thousands of devices have been rooted in Korea, but it's hard to find support here for the device. Do a Naver search for "갤럭시s 루팅" or go to matpclub.com
I'm at matpclub.com
lucky for me, it's hard to understand and translation is not good
Agreed, but if you can find the file that contains odin and the update.zip everything else seems fairly like every other rooting system. Unfortunately, I deleted the file and the link after I was unsuccessful getting my device into recovery mode.
Here is the link for root. But I can't download the Msuper.zip

I'm too nervous to do this since my phone got no warranty and i'm not in korea

Do not flash it. my friend has flashed it and it's not working now. And i'm searching now how to fix this problem. we tried to flash it on korean firmware and it shows error while odin flashes modem section.

So for Anycall SGS user like me will have to stick with the Korean ROM? there are apss that I don't need and the sms is limited to 80 characters
this is just for now
once we consolidate everything, we should be able to make cross model compatible ROMs
see topic

right now it's just a big mess, and we are lacking support for some models
sir please give tutorial upgade my galaxy S (shw-m110S)
android froyo ke gingerbread
I have a galaxy s which is a carrier of orange but was unlocked. So, could anyone tell which rom would run on it. i installed few roms but they didnt work.
Is the model number i9000? If so any rom in this section will work
May I ask, what rom's did you install and how didn't they work?
Also I'm assuming your new to installing roms, so have a read of this thread.
I am currently using the Vanilla ICS Graduation Edition v 1.2, overall the ROM is solid, and the guy who made it is constantly updating it. If your interested I can send you the download, or you can just visit his thread.

Hi xda-developers,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab (P1000) (hw ver. rev1.2), provided by Vodafone Portugal, and I want exploit the device by installing custom ROMs.
But as you can imagine, I want to be sure that I can revert the device to this state whenever I want. And this is my problem....
I've been searched for tutorials how to do this, but i could not find this specific ROM.
Info after pressing *#1234# :
Firmware Version:
PDA - P1000BUJQ3
PHONE - P1000BUJQ1
CSC - P1000TCLJQ1
Android version is 2.3.6 and carrier is Vodafone Portugal
I also went to a Vodafone forum, and they suggested an alternative by asking a previous version ROM to Samsung (unlikelly): Android 2.2, P1000BUJI4+P1000TCLJI1
I also can't get this one.
Questions:
Do you have any sugesttions where can I get this stock ROM (preference 2.3.6)?
What does people like me normally do in this sittuations on their devices?
Is there any Stock Rom without carrier (directly from Samsung)? Can I install another P1000 stock rom from another carrier (I don't like this sollution) ?
Let me just say this.
You P1000 is no different than all the P1000 talked about here.
Just read all some if the threads here and you know what to do.

Thanks priyana, but I want to preserve the original ROM for a eventual revert, and that's what I can't find in any P1000 thread.

Thanks nurusz, but I don't want how to flash the P1000;
What I want is the stock ROM for P1000, carrier Vodafone Portugal (TCL), no matter what version (2.2 or 2.3) and not-rooted
I have 2.3 now in my P1000 (that was never flashed before (only updated via Kies)).
Does anyone provide me any reliable solution to this?
Thank you!

It should all be thsre , good luck!!

Yes the "T" in the name is just the Telstra branding, if you follow ausdims rooting thread you will be fine

The 'T' in the model number isn't branding. The phone is actually slightly different.
I have a friend who works for Telecom here in NZ and they also sell the I9305T.
He said it is optimised for use on Telecom's network (and obviously Telstra's too) it uses different modems and the antenna is different inside the phone.
They do however use the same ROMs and firmware. Anything intended for the I9305 will also work the same on the I9305T, except modems.

I have a question about rooting, i followed the ausdim rooting guide and installed triangleaway but system still shows modified. Anyway, Is there a ways not to use CWM recovery and use stock recovery? how can i flash stock recovery and keep root? and if i want to update to 4.1.2, can i do OTA without losing root? Thanking you in advance

Hello everyone!
New to this forum and new to Android phone. I have searched the whole forum and read through the dev-sections. Also did searches on multiple sites and through searchengines to find out what device model to use in the ToolKit...didn't find any confirming answer to my question.
As I have no posts from before, I couldn't write this in the dev-section, so I chose the thread that was closest to what I was looking for.
Question: What is the correct device model to choose in the ToolKit (I have version 7.0.0).
Information from my "about section"...
Phone: Samsung Galaxy SIII 4G
Model: GT-I9305
Android-version: 4.1.1
Build: JRO03C.I9305XXALK5
Operator: Telenor (Norway)
The options I lean towards since the only choice showing 4G, is number 21 (International 4G).
Problem is that it says it's GT-I9305N and not GT-I9305. It also says (Build JRO03C ALIA) and that does not match to my build either.
Then I look at the (International LTE), which says (GT-I9305)...which is ok.
And then number 14, which says (Build JRO03C ALK5), which is the same as mine...but it doesn't say 4G, which I have.
It might sound silly, but I really dont want to make the wrong choice here and end up having a phone that either "does not work at all"
or "does not work as it should". And before anyone says that I then should just leave it alone, my only intention at this point is to let
my anti-virus get root-access, so that the firewall works and the anti-theft works.
Hope anyone can be of help and thanks in advance.

Ok, so I rooted my device yesterday after reading through like 10 more threads...just took a chance, thought to myself "guts and glory" and went for it..went well =) I chose option 14 the build was the same as mine and it worked like a charm.
I am still left with a few quesitons though...might not be relevant to the thread anymore...
Does the rooting share the same build-match requirement as the flashing of a new operatingsystem?
How do I uninstall apps that were preinstalled on an operatorlocked phone?
Anders - Norway
I think you should look for app in app store, Root App delete or something like that. Then search for you operator apps/files and remove.

1. Bootloader is allready unlocked
2.For how to root look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2255190&highlight=how+to+root
3. Flash custom recovery, would advice this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxZf39vI0Lc. Download the .tar.md5 and flash with Odin in PDA.
4. Go to the CM thread and download the latest nightly and Gapps (Google apps) and place on the sdcard.
5. Go in recovery and wipe cache, dalvik cache, format system and data factory reset and then flash the CM rom and Gapps right after another without rebooting, reboot and you`re done.

I have the same phone, GT-9305T from Vodaphone & flashed the Galaxyrom ver 4.1.2. Had problems with an earlier Galaxyrom 4.3, Ver 12.1 but Camera app has problem There are fixes available but haven't tried yet. Will try again with later release but for the moment I'm happy with 4.1.2.
Everything works & Aussie Developer so feel more confident that the rom will fit aussie phones.
