[Q] pm segfaults. enox reVenge v3.0 GT-I8192N - Galaxy S III Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Installed enox reVenge v3.0 on this phone a few days ago and now I noticed that I can't install apps using adb. It looks like it's installing but the app doesn't show up on device and there's no message in the terminal. If I push the apk and try to install it manually using pm there's a delay for a few seconds and then it says "Segmentation fault".
Bonus problem: The digital clock widget seems to be broken. If I put it on a sceen I get a textbox saying there was a problem loading it.

[Q] [Help] Com.android.settings has crashed

Hi , i have a G1 black with CM 5 .Everything was fine until i thought to install LauncherPro ('cause ADW launcher sometimes/usually lags and i've been told that Launcher pro might be better).
Right after i installed Launcher pro the Settings process keeps crashing : "Com.android.settings has crashed. please try again"
I can't open settings and neither put widgets nor the powerwidget works . Now my wi-fi is always on and i cannot turn it off. because i can't reach it in any way .
I tried removing Launcher pro , reboot , then install it again , reboot but no luck .
any ideas?
Try rebooting into recovery and running fix permissions.

Notification Bar Gone...Other FC's for Apps

I rooted to CM7 and everything was fine. I should have left well enough alone. I tried to do the fix for HBOGo (the framework.jar replacement) and the fix for Netflix (the build.prop thing) but apparently, I did something wrong. I don't know how to fix this now and am really freaking out.
Build.prop is now back to where it was but the original framework.jar file that I cut and pasted in my root folder to hold in case I made a mistake is gone! So now I'm stuck with this "new" file that is screwing everything up. It has to be...it worked fine until I did this.
Any help here? Is there somewhere I can download the original framework.jar file??? Or do I have to re-install CM7?
Just flash the latest nightly or reflash your current build, you don't have to wipe anything and you'll be back up and running in no time.
Ok, so to do that I go to ROM Manager. And Flash CWM Recovery? Then what?
I am new at this and obviously not the most educated when it comes to all this fancy stuff.
BTW you don't need to edit your build.prop for netflix anymore.

Found the builds...how do I install?
I flashed cwm recovery and fixed permissions but it's still fc'ing the notification bar and also settings. This sucks.
This is what I get:
"The application Status Bar (process.com.android.systemui) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
Same message as before the flash.

Click to collapse
Open the ROM manager in the app drawer go to "download rom" and flash the latest nightly and make sure to wipe cache.

[Q] Can't update Google+ app from market

I am using onecosmic's ICS rom on my I9000 and it is running fine, however, there is an update for the google+ app available on the market and everytime i try to install it I get the following error:
Package file was not signed correctly.
Uninstall the previous copy of the app and try again.
Other apps install just fine. Is there another way to update? Or is there a way to remove the app as is suggested in the error message? Because I can't remove it using the market or settings (or I just can't find how).
[Update] Managed to uninstall using TB, reboot and reinstall

Gtalk, app isn't installed

Hi,
I'm running Slim ICS 4.2, with semaphore kernel.
I tried installing the 4.2 JB camera, and the photosphere didn't work. Before trying to flash the file, I did a nand backup.
Since the camera didn't work, I just restored my backup.
But now for some reason gtalk disappeared from my phone. The icon is on the home screen, but when I click it, a warning appears saying "App isn't installed".
In the app drawer, the app doesn't appear, neither in the "Apps" menu in the settings.
I've tried several things now, the most extreme of which was factory reset + wipe cache + wipe dalvik cache + format /system + reinstall slim ics 4.2. Even with a fresh install, Talk wouldn't appear anywhere.
There is a "Talk.apk" in /system/app (and I didn't put it there manually). Tried installing it and it obviously doesn't let me (with the default android apk installer, I don't know if there are others out there).
Another thing I've noticed was that the chrome icon I had on the home screen changed to a little android figure (could be from semaphore). Other than that, everything seems pretty much normal.
I use gtalk a lot, so I really need this working. I don't know what else to do.
Just found out a couple more things:
- Apparently the weird icon on Chrome also happened on my girlfriend's ICS tablet, so that has nothing to do with the problem.
- Found this link: h**p://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Barebones (I can't post links, so you have to copy/paste)
When I do ls on /system/apps, there is a "Talk.apk" there. However, when I tried removing it, it returned "No such file or directory". (screenshot attached)
Also, when I do "pm list packages", the talk package isn't there (com.google.android.talk)
After that I tried deleting "Talk.apk" through OI File Manager (the default file manager of slim) and it just fails.

[Q] How to get htc Task widget on sense 6.0

i've just switched in ViperOne 6.2, sense 6.0 rom, and found that htc task widget is missing..
Tried to grab MyTaskWidget.apk from previous version (viperone 5.8)
Copied to the right directory (system/priv-app) via adb push, set same permissions
That other apps had there and installed. Task widget appeared at widgets menu, but whenever i try to place it on homescreen, it just force closes..
After that, i uninstalled original tasks app from system with titanium backup(thought it was newer version than widget, because size on 5.8 and
6.2 were different ), copied both MyTask.apk and MyTaskWidget.apk from 5.8 and installed with same permissions..
What i got is that even task app force closes now, as widget, and it's totally blanc, without icon..
So, could anyone help me what to do with that to get task and it's widget working on sense 6?
That's my favorite widget after music and i'll have to downgrade to 5.8, if nothing can be done with it..
Any suggestions? Thanks..
No one? I need notes widget too. Plz help devs.
