[Q] App Install Problem

Hi! This is my first post!
I have some problem with app install.
First of all, not on purpose, I have moved market app to sd. Then that app, in app > all, is showed in gray:

After that I installed the app market from apk and it works again but I have another problem: I'm not able to install any app from market, not from website not from app. After download, when the install started, phone reboot.

Try to reinstall Google apps. Sounds like something is corrupted there and best place to start is reinstalling gapps.zip then go from there! Good luck =)

install link2sd and see is there market and market installer frozen

Try to wipe data and reflash again your desired rom..

I use s2e and now, as I wrote in the first post, I'm not able to install anything.

Don't move system apps to sdcard.

I know now... but it's not my purpose... it was a mistake.

How to fix this problem... Already flash gapps .. Try with different rom .. All didnt work

Go to Settings>Accounts and sync>Background data and check the option.
Then still if it doesn't work,then check your Net is working properly or not.
Otherwise flash GAPPS again.

I don't think that Google play store depends background sync.
The error msg indicates that it is connectvity error.
You were using wifi with low signal strength.
Probably that was causing the problem.
If it is working after disabling of sync it indicates that your connection speed is not enough to browse while sync.

Google play service asking for update

i just restore my image backup from June on my motox and all is fine. but a while ago a notification popped up saying something like "a important Google app requires update"
when i touch it in redirected to play store. to Google play service page. there are two buttons: disable, open.

if i click disable i get this message saying some nonsense about device administrator.
when i click OK it just closes.
so i went to settings - security - device admin. and of course there was no Google item there and all the 3 items i had there were NOT selected.
searching was mostly futile as that keyword filled the internet because people flash custom roms and forget to read about the gapps part i did found one thread saying that you have to remove all Google accounts before updating this... but if i remove all Google accounts i won't even be able to freaking open the play store...
what am i missing here?

You could try updating it manually.

thanks. but i barely use Google apps. i just ignored the update notifications and they went away for good.

Yeah! I was about to comment this... I didn't get 5.3 update even when I refreshed so i installed manually. Today i got 5.4 one in Update center. lol.

Im from india ,im not getting any update. Installed vesrion 8.4.A.4.4. im using existenz rom 3.1.5

8.4.A.5.4 is out, must be a minor update

Download it from the link above and install it like a regular app.

Instagram and Google play games not compatible?

When I try to install instagram from the play store it says that it isn't compatible with my device. And why I install play games it can't be installed, error - 505.
Anyine else have these problems? I've installed instagram via apkmirror but don't want to have to worry about manually keeping it up to date.

Instagram seems to be working fine for me, too. I wonder if we sent messages to the developer maybe they would tick the Fire box. Same story for HD Widgets.

I have Google play games working great. But I had the same issue and solved it by manually downloading the apk and now Google play updates it with no issues. Not tried instagram but will try it now

once installed, all apps should update just fine, I suggest using apkmirror to download the apk and sideload those that won't install from the play store

I have had the same error -505 when I flashed nano gapps using flashfire on cm 12.1
What fixed it for me was flashing a bigger open gapps (full). Note that you don't need to reflash the rom, you can simply flash gapps form zip and it will replace the old ones.
