[APP] 7 homescreen gingerbread launcher

here is a 7 home screen gingerbread launcher that i saw on my friends vibrant. so i took his rom extracted it and took the apk.
thanks to the guys at who made the rom galaxyextreme2.1
instructions:
download and push to system/app with root explore
tested on marcusaunt v6 rom and worked great

Are u pushing it to system/app? And root explore should say at the top right hand corner R/O

U should just copy paste. The hit the home button and it should ask u to choose a launcher. If not download home switcher for froyo on tthe market

Stock jb launcher for ics with circles widget

Simply unzip. And copy and merge the folders into system directory with root explorer. Fix permissions with rom manager. And reboothttp://db.tt/4eeIaWpe

What are the permissions to fix? Can they not be fixed with root explorer? (sorry for the dumb question, not used to mods without a custom recovery...)

So I downloaded the zip... unzipped... then copied the META-NF folder to system/ and eack individual file from lib/ and /app (from zip) to my phone...
But i dont see any difference... Im pretty sure I did something wrong. Idk what you mean by "merge"..

EDIT: Got it! Just went and installed the homescreen.apk (if you get confused to which one, just look at the builddate) in root explorer and now Ihave quieck settings and favorites. Thanks!

I've come to like this recovery better than CWM. It's much more user friendly and faster at some things. The touch screen part of this doesn't hurt either instead of hitting the volume button to scroll through a bunch of "no's".

I have a question about that. What's going on there when trying to fix permissions?
It seems like TWRP restarts, but there is no confirmation whether permissions were fixed or not.

I don't think there is a way to tell if it works or not

[Mod][Deodexed][JB] Sense 4 Style Multitasking

This mod is for ATT 4.1.1 JB. I'm on it :silly:
This also includes Powermenu which I followed this topic by skeevydude
How to install:
- Boot to CWM recovery (or other recovery which support install zip from sdcard, it's up to u)
- Choose zip and install
- Reboot and wait
- Launch some apps then press multitasking button on screen and see

You have done great work, I found solution. I turned down softkeys and without them mod didn't want to work. I turned on softkeys and now it works great.

That's an almost any stock launcher issue. If our Moto Launcher didn't suck at dpi scaling I'd be using it with PAC....I miss Circles...Circles is one of the best things Motorola came out with.

I flashed the AccuWeather zip with CWM says successful. After restart I cant find the app or widget in launcher. The files are listed in system apps.
Any ideas anyone? Im on ATT stock rooted jellybean with unlocked bootloader

i got it to work finally by installing the launcher and the widget. Looks like u have to use the launcher for it to work.
