You can't s-off if you took the 4.2.2 ota. Revone doesn't work on that hboot.

Why dont u try Revolutionary S-off to properly lock your handset and also remove the relocked flag. I hope this might help. And are you still on stock rom ?
Re-Unlock your bootloader, security warning is a warning for say you that you aren't in stock rom.
You can relock your bootloader only if you're are stock...
Use revolutionary soff to set the bootloader as locked and remove the tampered flag.

If you are S-Off it should not matter if your bootloader is locked or not. In fact your bootloader should stay unlocked. That's the whole point of being S_Off!
As long as you have a compatible (correct model ID) RUU installed and CID 11111111, you should be able to fastboot oem flash any RUU or OTA (that is correct for your base rom).
Otherwise S-Off is not working correctly. Read up on S-Off and what it really means for your device.
Having said that - a lot has changed in these new devices so research thoroughly!!!!!!

I have a nandroid back up from which i rstored my stock ROM and relocked the bootloader. after that when i checked for software updates i got an update viz. 1.29.707.17,i downloaded it,and while trying to install it bootloader gives the following message TAMPERED>RELOCKED> Seurity Warning >M7_U PVT SHIP S-ON RH>HBOOT-1.44.0000...eMMC-boot....Installing revolutionary can solve this? ie. can i install the OTA update and use it with stock? One more thing is there any source to get the RUU_M7_U_JB_50_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.29.707.4_R_Radio_4A.14.3250.13_10.33.1150.01_release_ 166754_signed_2_4 [i have downloaded this in zip format, but i think flashing it via CWM won't clear the tampered flag/ security warning]
Thanks in Advance.

Go here and follow the guide in the OP: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2314582
Do all the steps and initialize revone, then type ./revone -l -t (-l locks the bootloader and -t removes the tampered flag)

I have a similar problem after trying to relock the phone with the latest Revolutionary HD ROM.
I have the *** TAMPERED ***, *** RELOCKED *** and *** Security warning *** message as well and cant' seem to get out of Fastboot mode - everything I try reboots me back in to it.
I have tried going the revone route, but cannot get it installed. Whilst 'Fastboot devices' brings it up, 'adb devices' doesn't recognise the phone.
I've updated the HTC sync drivers but that doesn't appear to make any difference.
Any further suggestions? Thanks.

how to unlock bootloader on s-off device with hboot 1.54

My device is s-off (via revone) but with a stock unrooted rom and a locked bootloader with 2.24.401.1 I want to unlock the bootloader again but
Code:
revone -u
seg faults and fastboot oem gives me the following error :
Code:
fastboot-windows.exe oem unlock
... INFO[ERR] Command error !!!
OKAY
(I had to send my phone in for warranty, so I locked the bootloader and ruu'ed and updated it back to 1.29.401.12 and it came back with 2.24.401.1 and hboot 1.54)

[Q] HTC one gpe conversion 4.4 cannot unlock bootloader

Hi all, apologies of this had already been dealt with.
I ran the gpe 4.4 ruu and everything went smoothly.
I relocked my boot loader and now cannot unlock it.
Tried the unlock bin and fastboot OEM unlock and nothing works.
Any help is appreciated?
I am currently
S off
Hboot 1.54
Relocked
Cid is googl01
Will flashing 4.22/4.3 gpe ruu solve this??
do you have root?
if yes;
adb shell
su
echo -ne "HTCU" | dd of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3 bs=1 seek=33796
(i would very strongly recomend you copy/paste this)
if no root; you'll need to flash the older hboot from the 4.3 gpe and then you can use fastboot oem unlock.
here's a link to the older hboot you can flash in ruu mode: http://www.mediafire.com/download/7do7pl987dorkbd/43 hboot.zip

I'm in the same boat right now with S-OFF and a relocked bootloader that happened automatically when I converted my HTC One M7 into a GPe. I'm trying to unlock the bootloader again, and I saw your post. I just got an OTA update today, so I'm at Android version 4.4.4.
My question is, can I just RUU flash the old hboot? Will it work with the new update I got? Or do I have to change my phone's firmware first?
Also, if I do have to change my phone's firmware, do I flash the old hboot first or downgrade the firmware first? I'm not an expert by any means, so I'm following a guide to flash firmware and it says to make sure that my device is unlocked first (but that's my problem is that I'm trying to unlock it). Finally, will older firmware and new Android updates work together? Is there any risk of problems in the future by doing this?
Thanks,
Adrian

HBOOT 1.56 how to S-on and LOCK bootloader?

i know revone doesnt work to S-oFF, but can i revert back to S-on and remove "RELOCKED" on hboot 1.56 KITKAT 4.4.2?
or is the only way running a RUU, (then running revone) than updating to KITKAT with S-ON and ***RELOCKED*** removed?

To get your bootloader back to LOCKED, first you need to unlock the bootloader and flash CWM. then flash this zip in CWM:
http://www.htc1guru.com/guides/guru-bootloader-reset/
Choose the option so set the bootloader back to LOCKED. You can also remove TAMPERED using this tool
To go back to S-ON, after setting the bootloader back to LOCKED, enter fastboot mode and type this in Command Prompt without the inverted comma,
"fastboot oem writesecureflag 3"
then follow the on-screen instructions to S-ON. reboot 3 times after the procedure
Feel free to ask any doubts and hit the THANKS button if I helped you
S-on on 1.55/56 hboot may bring back tampered text in bootloader. You have to be on 1.44 hboot to do it. Why do you need to s-on. Its not recommended

Yes, revone -l will set back to LOCKED state on any hboot version. Or simply this command in a terminal or adb shell will do it:
Code:
su
echo -ne '\x00\x00\x00\x00' | dd of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3 bs=1 seek=33796
Do not go back S-ON, just don't.
Here you go buddy:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2541082
Read all instructions before beginning. Make sure you have the original ADB drivers and the HTC provided drivers coming from HTC sync. Make sure HTC sync is then uninstalled. Make sure your firewall and antivirus is disabled through the process. Make sure you follow all directions to a T. Done this twice following this guide.

s-off, hboot 1.44 problem

Hi,
Here is the situation.. I have an HTC One..
the hboot is still on 1.44 with s-on.
I want to flash the latest firmware, which is only possible with s-off.. problem is that I'm running a 4.4.2 ROM and trying revone throws an error as the ROM doesn't match the hboot.
Is there anyway I can get s-off easily? or do I have to hunt down a 4.1.2 ROM and flash that before trying to update the firmware?
You can try firewater
I had the same situation, trying to S-OFF with HBOOT 1.44. I was able to get revone's method to work.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2314582
The only issue I ran into is at step 4
4. Prepare to gain S-OFF by running the command: ./revone -P

It wouldn't work without root. I used firewater's temp root and it worked perfectly. I did not need my bootloader unlocked or my device rooted.

firewater was the first one I tried cause I'm accustomed to using it with the 1.55 and 1.56 hboot..
didn't work on this run.. and revone keeps failing..
Thinking i'll relock the bootloader and flash the stock ruu with the latest firmware and see if that gets me up to hboot 1.56 and then unlock the bootloader and try firewater again..
any thoughts on this procedure before I try it?

I would try a 4.1.2 rom before you wipe your device with the RUU.

Stock rooted should be fine.
Thanks guys.. managed to find a copy of ARHD 9.4
gave a little trouble to flash.. but finally got through with it and revone s-off worked perfectly after that.
Thanks for the assistance.
