Guys,
I found C-Rom as one of the best ROMs that I've tried, but I think it's not one of the fastest.
But I don't wanna change.
So I ask you, what YOU do to improve your ROM speed and smoothness? Which kernel is the best? Do you use any RAM tweaks? Supercharger? Does it help? Does anybody use swap?
Sorry for a stupid question, please be patient with me

Hi,
The most important thing to make your phone better is the ROM, so you have passed this step. Then is the kernel, if you have a good kernel, you will win a lot, it's your choice to select one.
Then, I had used V6 Supercharger, Pimp my ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1908269) or even Thunderbolt (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1556013). And yes, in my opinion, it helps.
Hope that this had helped you!

hey guys, do u think its possible to build a lagfix based on ReiseFS?
This thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=811660
the Kernel supports ReiseFS.. is it possible?
as far as i know ReiseFS is very fast in reading lots of small datafiles. so it should be fast? maybe faster then ext2/3/4?
what do u guys think? u have allready good or bad experience with ReiseFS?

I agree
especially Dx is the best ROM for stock kernel
i just want to ask
im noobs here and need some instruction
can you explain me advantages and disadvantages of this rom ?
- gingerDX
- MiniCM7
sorry maybe some of you can help
thanks
Avantages Gdx , fast smooth , and minicm , smooth stable for daily use
Sent from my E15i using XDA
GingerDx fast and smooth, but for me sucks cuz it works on top of Stock and Alfs-GDX kernel which means that my phones WiFi dont work very well.
MiniCm fast and smooth maybe GingerDx is a bit faster and smoother, but it works on top of nAa and Alfs-Cm7 kernel which means no problems with WiFi for me and i think its perfect for day to day use if its supercharged.
Hit thanx if i helped.
wifi doesnt matter for me thanks for your opinion
dont bother them gingerXperia is a very good rom and also gives a SE make over to ur phone.it is stable and good for daily use...
Hope this helps

each rom has its own advantages and disadvantages, the best depends on our own user experience
if u dont know on ur own which rom to use better stuck with stock rom or go ahead and test both rom on ur own. if one rom wins in one thing other fails in something..imo gdx is good...

I think you can change to CM 10, for higher android version, some apps will work for you device that doesn't work for stock or CM7
Yes, I know that, I have experimented various and different roms, but I don't have much time. In summer, I will experimented cm10, and I'm still waiting for the developers of jenkins to finish the cm11!

First of all, wrong section mate. Always post such questions in the Q/A section. I completely agree with @baran0119 on using Battery Extender kernel. But let me tell you one thing beforehand nothing can beat the stability and battery backup of the stock kernel. Then again if you want to enable other features like init.d, governors, etc you can for stock based custom kernels for stock roms. Hope I Helped
P.S. Reported to FM to move to right section.
