Hi, i wanted to know where to find the latest Italian firmware available for the Sony Xperia SP.
Thanks
Are you still on stock rom? Use pc companion to get the latest version and make it into .ftf.

Is .74 released yet? I received an update notification from PCC but I'm currently on ExistenZ V3 rom so might not be .74 because the rom is based on .244. If someone can confirm that .74 is already released, I'll try to upload the FTF file by this weekend :highfive:
Latest release for mine is:
Model: C6603
Custom number: 1270-1412
Latest firmware: 10.3.1.A.2.67
official 4.3 is out but my phone didn't receive it yet i know i should wait but as all of you know when it comes to the fresh updates ain't no body got time to wait !! what can i do to get it faster than now ? i tried updating by pc companion and update center
help me up
thanks in advance
Follow part A of this guide. Download any software customization from Sony & create an FTF with Flashtool and change your customisation version to 1270-6188.
Then connect your phone to your PC and the update should be available.
Note : It will be the generic CH (Swiss) version you receive, but the software does not vary from region to region anyway, only included apps.

My method requires root.
Use Gripfly's method. You do not need root to use Flashtool.

I don't have any relevant bugs. If there is a NFC issue i don't know but wifi works fine for me.

If you flash a branded firmware you will get some more apps which you probably don't need. So if you flash one, flash a generic firmware

You can download with changing the customization number your old firmware(that method which kingvortex posted). There are 2 links, 1 with customization numbers and the other is this what kingvortex give you. Give a look on it.

If you root your phone and install the Recovery, you can make a Nand backup. This is a Backup of the full system.
You loose warranty if you unlock your bootloader. But here you flash just an other original SONY firmware, for this you don't need to unlock your bootloader and that means you won't loose warranty.

You will face problem with Network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Sim Signal or you will not have them at all as the Baseband are different for C6902 and C6903.
