Display corruption w/ AOSP ROMs - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Unlocked, S-OFF'd, TWRP & Root. Everything working fine at stock or with Sense based ROMs (viperROM, specifically), however after installing any AOSP based ROM I get complete display corruption as soon as the screen turns off (either by timeout or locking). Lines, image scrolling, blank screen, etc. Everything else is still working in the background, but the display will not work until after a reboot.
I can't help but feel I'm missing something, but haven't found anything so far. :/
Thanks In Advance.

[MOD][APP] Exchange Security (Sense Mail.apk)

****All credit goes to Socrguru****
He did everything except post the zip here. I'm just a grateful messenger!(neither he nor myself are responsible for things gone wrong)
There are ROMs that disable the Exchange Security. This zip is not for those that need that or want that. This is for those who don't want the security disabled because disabling causes the HTML messages to not display and always reverts back to plain text.
1. Backup ROM in TWRP recovery.
2. Flash this zip over the top of your current custom ROM (as long as it is 1.29.651.10 base with Sense 5.0). Won't work on CM or AO built ROMs.
3. Reboot system.
If I have forgotten to mention anything, I apologize.
This MOD works great so far for me. I hope someone else can get use out of it also.
Thanks!
Works great. Had been using another program, but the stock has such a small footprint and all I want is email and nothing more. Thanks!

Was this v19? There was known issues with this, and other ROMs based on the Community ROM N7105 Port.
v20 is out now and is based on a proper I9305 based firmware, and doesn't seem to have the known Youtube issues.
The Power disconnect issue is still around I think (unfortunately) but this a kernel-based problem which I can't fix.
At the moment, custom bootanimation doesn't exist in v20 until a hack is done for it.
yes. v19
thanks for answering the rest
got confused - re boot animation " Remove Samsung / Carrier Bootanimation (allow for custom Bootanimations) "

I'm researching this at the moment. Hopefully there is a way I can fix the ROM so I don't have to use a third-party app to do it. Worse case scenario I'll search the Play Store and see what I can find.
Doesn't boot
Hey,
I just tried to flash your 20.10 version on my I9305, formerly running TGP 4.3. I'm on TWRP 2.6.3.0 Recovery.
Flashing works fine. But the phone doesn't boot up. I also did the Full wipe (Dalvik, Cache, System, Data, Internal Storage) but all I see when booting up is the "Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE" Screen and then the screen goes and stays black.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem here?
Edit: I'm on old bootloader and tried different installation options.

Same here, I'm on new bootloader, philz recovery, I did a full whipe and still nothing
It was fully tested on a old bootloader with a complete wipe using the AGNi Kernel and TWRP Recovery.

Aha, I have new bootloader plus philz, I'll try with TWRP
With TWRP 2.6.3.0 it works (2.7.0.0 has some problems with showing aroma files corectly om i9305)
I installed version 20.01 now which works fine. No idea why it doesn't work with 20.10.
Does not connect to the computer

Hi. I'm new here Get me beautiful [=
I installed the ROM v20.10 all works very well.
But I connect the phone to a computer to transfer files. It only charges battery. I did not connect memory card or cell phone why?

A few errors.
Hi all! I flashed this rom a while back and have had a few errors. I did flash the proper modem and all and everything is fairly smooth. I'm not sure if I'm just being too picky, but I'd like to give my feedback and get some opinions...
I really enjoy the standard wanam and exposed installer options!
The errors:
Occasionally, i get repetitive notifications of my text messages. I will view a text message, dismiss the notification and i will get a random notification a few hours later, no new message...
Another problem i have had is with one particular messaging app called line. When i get an onscreen notification (one that pops up even if the display is a sleep), follow the shortcut to view the message, unlock the screen and reply, the keyboard doesn't register text. The predictions will show up but no yext is entered until i exit and re enter the app from the hone screen. This only happens with this app and no other apps that require text input. I have changed the keyboard and reinstalled the app, checked and reset settings... Everything i can think of short of reinstalling the rom. I suppose it could be an incompatibility issue, a bad install of the rom, or the rom has a glitch as far as allowing for this screen off pop-up to app transition.
Beyond that, it's a great development. Thank you!
Feedback and suggestions :
I would love it if there were a few notification bloats removed. For instance, the persistent and annoying earphones connected shortcut notification, the on screen wifi connected notification and the data roaming off (or something to that effect). I have checked and searched for work arounds for these abd couldn't dig anything up. The horrendous touchwiz in this version has seemed to strio away some options that were previously there...
Keep up the good work!
5*
Its working fine the new update !
thx

What is the best ROM for Z1

Hello, i have the c6903 and a modded but official 5.01 ROM along with Twin Recovery and Exposed.
The phone works ok until it starts to seriously lag, with icons taking ages to appear on screen (like the HOME screen or APPs screen). Also at points, it fails to recognize any WIFI signals. It is as if there are no signals at all.
The biggest issue is the reboot. In order to restart OS i have to enter recovery and wipe Cache which leads to an approximatelly ~13minutes boot up time.
Now i browsed the ROM section and i've nerver seen so many ROMs available before. It makes it hard to choose which on to install.
I need a rom with Dual Recovery and root. Which is the best offer at the moment with SONY camera software working? I dont care for experimental ROMs but i need something stable, fast and well, fast.
Thanx for reading this.
Hi, installing Xposed Framework will it lead me to bootloops? Was that the cause of my bootloops with the .254(i think) version?
Hi,
First, there is no such thing as "Best ROM", the best to do is search the Development Thread, read some threads, some comments and go for the ROM that interests you. I am running Stock Rooted + Xposed and it has been quite nice to me.
About your question, Xposed is still in alpha version, so maybe it indeed caused bootloops, but latest version has been running fine on my device. I'm running .270 firmware by the way.
All the best,
~Lord

Skipping the lockscreen animation

OOS 4.0.3 here
Yesterday I decided to root my 3T finally (I tried to resist the temptation, didn't manage though ) to flash a custom kernel. I had to unlock bootloader so all of my data got erased of course. Before that I had had stock 4.0.3 with stock kernel. I always use fingerprint unlock feature since it's just perfect for me. With the previous configuration I could somehow skip the unlocking animation (the lockscreen and clock flying away to the top). It gave an impression of blazing fast unlocking since the homescreen used to appear INSTANTLY right after I put my finger onto the sensor. Now though, after factory reset and with the new kernel (either FK or EX) this is all gone and the animation appears every single time. I'm not really sure if what I had was just a bug or something else If I go to developer's setting and set animator duration scale to 0 I'll get similar effect to what I had.

Problem with lockup / display not turning on across various roms, rooted droid

I successfully rooted my droid (that came with lollipop), using this guide
https://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo/general/guide-how-to-unlock-bootloader-install-t3292684
installed twrp backed up the stock OS and installed resurrection remix lollipop rom. I did not install any different modems or radios as I planned to stay on lollipop.
Everything worked great yet after a day or two the display/phone would appear to lock up. I can press power, the display doesn't come on and when (usually) moving the the volume up/down I do hear sounds. Sometimes at this point it will reboot by itself, other times I have to reboot it.
When it comes up it goes through the android is upgrading thing, and sometimes works fine after, sometimes not, regardless eventually this problem repeats.
Thinking it was perhaps RR I tried straight Cyanogenmod, and eventually the rooted stock OS, both have this same problem.
I've tried using it with very minimal installed in the way of apps, same issue.
I've tried saving the log to SD to peer at later, but going through it I don't really see anything obvious to show what the problem is.
I"m wondering if there's a problem with the phone itself (it's a refurb) and am considering unrooting it and returning it.
Anyone seen this or thoughts on what might be the issue?
p.s.
if you happen to have a good link handy to an unrooting guide you might shoot it my way thanks.
thanks in advance!
What versions of the other ROMs did you use? Lollipop also, or Marshmallow? Nougat? For rooted stock ROM did you upgrade to Marshmallow? None of the Lollipop ROMs are supported anymore, so hard to answer for those.
There are ways to grab logs after a reboot, but here's another suggestion...
I use Auto Reboot app (needs root) to schedule a reboot my phone every day while I'm asleep.
This seems to keep the cobwebs cleared out, so the phone runs better. I know you want to find the issue, but maybe it's an accumulation of apps not releasing RAM orb something. This might help prevent that.
thanks for the reply

I tried the last released CM lollipop snapshot, as well as the last nightly.
For RR it was last released, "ROM OS Version: 5.1.x Lollipop"

Yeh I've been saving it to the SD so I can view it after a reboot, I've looked at 4 or 5 of them after the problem occurred and at least to me nothing really stood out

Yeh I expect it might periodically need a reboot but if it's just unpredictiably locking up or rebooting on its own it's not very usable.
I think I'm just going to have to try to unroot and return, maybe I'll go with a LG V20 as I don't want to have pay to re-root another one of these and possibly have same issue. Also the whole pay to have some app do something secret to my phone does leave me a bit uneasy.
Kind of a bummer as I'm actually pretty impressed with this device, fast, good battery, takes nice photos, only drawbacks for me are no removable SD and lack of LED notification, but I was willing to live without those given how good everything else was.
thanks

FWIW and in case it helps you or someone else, I seem to have fixed mine finally, here's what I did.
First I installed latest twrp (mod 4) https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=39562 (there's a thread on this twrp if you want tor read on it). That in itself didn't fix the issue but did finally let me format and got rid of an 'mkfs.f2fs: invalid option -- r, ERROR=1' type error I used to get.
I installed this stock zip from twrp as described in thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo/development/rom-su4tl-49-100-stock-t3390041
It would never actually boot it would shut my phone off not long after showing the boot screen, and I'm not sure if doing that was necessary or not.
Taking some suggestions from here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo/help/help-request-custom-rom-phone-unlocked-t3767070
I dug up the last official CM 13 snapshot:
https://www.google.com/search?q=cm-13.0-20161221-SNAPSHOT-ZNH5YAO3Y5-quark.zip
sha1: 9a219dd487c27e51b0c5c4922812838f394099c5
Wipe and installed with no gapps and voilà it would boot consistently. Without reinstalling I tried installing pico gapps and it would still boot though it took maybe 15 mins initially.
I want Nougat so I wiped and installed lineage-14.1-20180612-UNOFFICIAL-quark.zip from https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-maxx/development/rom-t3494646 again no gapps and it also booted fine, whereas previously it would hang on booting. Without reinstalling ROM I tried installing opengapps nano and it would just hang.
I could then no longer get it to boot again, so I reinstalled CM13 no gapps, which booted fine, wipe and install lineage-14.1-20180612-UNOFFICIAL-quark.zip no gapps, and now it boots fine though currently it's taking a while.
I should perhaps note I took twrp backups inbetween steps whenever I had a working boot, (ex before installing gapps), but once the phone went back to hanging on boot, those restores didn't help. Only reflashing CM13 seemed to clear things up.
My ultimate goal is a LOS ish Nougat/Oreo ROM with no gapps using microg, and running tmobile, I'll see what I end up with.
