Hi Im Noob, I unlocked my One a while back and found my modelid to be pn0713000. Ive searched and searched for others who have the same but havent found any. Im rooted running InsertCoin and recently tried to s-off my phone using revone, everything seems to have worked fine and my bootloader 1.44 says im s-off. But when I tried flashing the new firmware.zip I get a fail message saying this:
C:\adb>fastboot flash zip C:\adb\firmware.zip
sending 'zip' (26802 KB)... OKAY [ 2.817s]
writing 'zip'... FAILED (remote: not allowed)
finished. total time: 2.851s
any help finding out whats wrong will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance

You need to be in RUU mode to flash the firmware.
Once there if your firmware.zip file is in your ADB folder then the full pathname is not required ie 'fastboot flash zip firmware.zip'
There are links to 2 firmware flashing guides in my signature below, these will guide you through the process

Hi,
I S-OFF'ed my HTC One, and upgraded the firmware!! Now i have a problem flashing the recovery.
When I'm trying to flash the recovery I'm only getting:
c:\Android>fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
sending 'recovery' (7422 KB)...
OKAY [ 1.188s]
writing 'recovery'...
FAILED (remote: not allowed)
finished. total time: 1.223s
Any idea of why its giving me remote: not allowed?
Have you tried to change the cable or the usb port?
However, all the other command will work?
Hehe never mind, it was a total brainfreeze, when i used revone, i also locked the bootloader again so unlocking it again kinda helped hehe
Thanks for the reply anyways
Updated clean to 4.3 with s-off, everytime I try to flash twrp from the bootloader it says
target reported max download size of 1526722560 bytes
sending 'recovery' (8432 KB)...
OKAY [ 1.108s]
writing 'recovery'...
FAILED (remote: not allowed)
finished. total time: 1.139s
after that, I tried to unlock the bootloader with a new unlock code and it gives me the same error.
am I missing something obvious?
nvm, was just a lot more convoluted to figure out this time than in the past.
I can't flash anything anymore. Just says "bad" & aborts. I'm on latest firmware 3.22 hboot 1.55 cid-11111111 s-off Insertcoin 3.4-3. Tried different recoveries as well.

I haven't found anything that addresses this directly, though it's possible I missed it.
Sorry if I did this wrong, just let me know and I'll correct posting.
Thanks!

So I checked again and I was wrong, I'm not S-Off...that was my other HTC ONE, I thought I'd done the same to this one.
But Now I'm having problems...I want to do a firmware update to fix Viper 7.0.1 issues with data/connectivity but it's still not letting me.
Will I be able to flash the updated firmware in the full version with S-On?
I've being running RumRunner all day on different computers and different usb ports...still no luck

Try Firewater for s-off.
Yes you can flash the Full Firmware while s-on but you will have to re-lock your bootloader to do so which means unlocking again and wiping your phone.

Put the firewater file in your adb/fastboot/platform tools folder, open a cmd window then copy and paste the commands on the firewater site.

everything worked out, got it all working, thanks!
I must start by saying that I'm sorry if this has already been discussed. I've been trying to unlock bootloader on m8 running 3.30 (latest OTA) hbooot 3.19 via HTCDev and when trying to flash unlock code bin. I get:
C:\Android>fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin
target reported max download size of 1826414592 bytes
sending 'unlocktoken' (0 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.125s]
writing 'unlocktoken'...
FAILED (remote: unlock token check failed)
finished. total time: 0.141s
I've copy and pasted and written out the commands: fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin
I've searched several time and multiple websites but haven't found my problem yet any help would be greatly appreciated.
Is your unlock token that you received by email from HTC in the same folder as your ADB/Fastboot folder?
It is not but I will move it and try again. Thank you for the response! I will respond back with results.
