[Q] can't unlock bootloader - Sprint HTC One (M8)

I must start by saying that I'm sorry if this has already been discussed. I've been trying to unlock bootloader on m8 running 3.30 (latest OTA) hbooot 3.19 via HTCDev and when trying to flash unlock code bin. I get:
C:\Android>fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin
target reported max download size of 1826414592 bytes
sending 'unlocktoken' (0 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.125s]
writing 'unlocktoken'...
FAILED (remote: unlock token check failed)
finished. total time: 0.141s
I've copy and pasted and written out the commands: fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin
I've searched several time and multiple websites but haven't found my problem yet any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is your unlock token that you received by email from HTC in the same folder as your ADB/Fastboot folder?

It is not but I will move it and try again. Thank you for the response! I will respond back with results.

I flashed my boot and recovery OK, but flashed system failed somehow. Now, am stuck on HTC logo. When I flash my system image, it gives an error:

Please help.

No, I had not upgraded to ICS. I was using stock GB with a modified kernel
First thing you shouldve done was relock the bootloader to flash back to stock....hopefully you didnt bork your phone.....IF you can get into hboot relock the bootloader and re run the ruu

Go to the second post and follow all of the steps. It should get you back to where you need to be.
Guys, I did see that post earlier, but the problem is I cant boot my phone. Am stuck on HTC logo while booting(I mentioned it in my first post). Now, how do I run the RUU? I can get into HBOOT.
Also, fastboot update rom.zip gave following error:

archive does not contain 'recovery.sig'
archive does not contain 'system.sig'

Does the bootloader say locked or unlocked? IF locked connect phone to computer with fastboot enabled and run the ruu. If it says unlocked you have to run fastboot oem lock and see if it will lock....IF it does lock and says relocked then follow " IF locked connect phone to computer with fastboot enabled and run the ruu"

Yes Bro you are right it worked for me too happy right now wnjoy buddy live more have a good day .
If some one is still on this problem, I had the issue Where upon boot the device said "Decrption Unsucessful" so i thought i should give it a factory reset which the device also prompts to but can't since the Partitions are Corrupted or just a Partition in my case, So flashed TWRP 3.0.2.-0 [Older i know], tried to Wipe Data and Cache but couldn't, so thought i should give it a Full Flash, upon doing so i stumbled on many problems, like the one OP has here, others like 'Device Haulted" [The one you get when you try to update via a SDCard], so been wasting my brain cells since yesterday, So a thought struck to my mind "Did i try to Wipe the System and Data via TWRP?" [Actually you just need to wipe the Data Partition] , So tried again and it couldn't said [Couldn't mount data/] so Google and Struck on a Video by usmanalitoo [ youtube.com/watch?v=Rs4zcryNt5Y ] in which he said to Format the Data partition to ext2 then back to ext4 which did wonders, See the video yourself. if you can't flash or other stuff. Before you do other wierd **** to you innocent device.

You need to be in RUU mode to flash the firmware.
Once there if your firmware.zip file is in your ADB folder then the full pathname is not required ie 'fastboot flash zip firmware.zip'
There are links to 2 firmware flashing guides in my signature below, these will guide you through the process

[GUIDE] How to ROOT HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle

Install TWRP recovery
First of all, the phone must be bootloader unlocked, if you didn't do that please unlock the bootloader first, you can find many guide for that.
https://www.htcdev.com/bootloader/
And one thing, there is a switch called "OEM Unlock" in developer options menu, make it turn on or you will fail to get unlock token.
Now you have a bootloader unlocked device right?
Please download this TWRP recovery
https://twrp.me/htc/htcdesire10lifestyle.html
Let phone reboot to bootloader and switch to fastboot mode then use the command to boot the recovery.
(Temporary)
Code:
fastboot boot twrp-3.2.1-0-a56dj.img
If you want install TWRP as main recovery please use the command
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.2.1-0-a56dj.img
Okay, If everything are work in right way, your device should be in TWRP recovery, you can do everything you want.
I recommend to use Magisk to get root :good:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445

If you know adb, then you can connect your device to the PC/Laptop and use the command ' adb reboot-bootloader' to get into fastboot mode. I am also trying to root my device. I will flash 'twrp' and then see what I can do for rooting. But, I have to be careful. I must be able to flash stock recovery.
Getting error in flashing TWRP.
Hi Op,

Very strange. I had same problem with same message " FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)", but, when I re-unlocked the bootloader , I resolved the problem.
In my case it did not work so I guess that in my case the ROM cannot be rooted but I have to write some impressions about the ROM compared to v.403 (contrary to its number v.403 is around 4 months EARLIER than b.399).
I write about my case only. Your mileage can vary.
v.399 feels less swift than v.403 (but ain’t bad anyway), moreover it brought me some games that I do not need because I do not play any games with my P8 (Dragon Mania, Puzzle Pets, Spider-Man, there is an app called Vmall). Pity that the ROM is not clean but never mind.
There is one thing that makes me love this ROM, the battery life is simply second to none. I talk around 60-90 minutes every day as well as I videocall several minutes daily (Skype Lite), send messages to my friends (WhatsApp), surf pretty intensively, check my email, use my bank app, and use some other apps. With v.403 I had to charge my P8 every morning. With v.399 if I charge my smartphone in the morning I can charge it next day but in the evening, or if I use it less intensively even after 2 days. Maybe the ROM is so good, or maybe it blocked some battery hungry apps that needed root acccess (I used Battery Charge Limit, AdAway, L-Speed, System App Remover, and Magisk with some audio modules).
I will call a spade a spade, it will be very nice if I will be able to root my P8 but if not I will not grumble anyway.
Hi! I try to reunlock bootloader, but I can't flash twrp. I try versions 3.0.2, 3.1.0 and 3.1.1
