I saw this image on slashgear and i've really fell in love with it !
The mixture of red and white made it look bold and cool at the same time
But this is the only image i saw with this face for the white color .So is it fake ? if so are there any differences in the front between each color ?
Very nice phone!!

901e is for Taiwan, it does not have LTE
901s is for Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, etc., it has LTE (I think this is the international model)
I have the 901E . Working of ATT . I do not miss the LTE at all. HSDPA bursting at up to 20mbps . The 901S has LTE but on the 1800/2600 MHz so it won't do you any good on the states (unless you live in HK )
Depending on where you buy it you may find the 901E or 901S

Hello everyone! I've searched the forum, didn't find anything similar so I' m posting here. So, got stock XZ C6603, T- mobile, .350 version (no updates yet) and it won't connet via HSDPA, I have wcdma activated but all i get is 3G(+) icon, no H(+), and the download speed is around 2Mbps. On my HTC DHD i can go up to 8Mbps with no problem. I have no signal/reception problems ( full bars). Also, wifi signal is weak but that's another issue, just mentioning it... Anyone knows how to fix this or having the same problem?
Did you try this?

tried it, slight improvement in speed, i think my apn settings are ok, but still no "H" icon, just 3G+. should I try to replace my phone or will the update when I get it fix this problem?
Did you tried a factory reset?

Tried that, didn't help...
Wait for the update or flash another firmware if you to try but backup your firmware first.

I would imagine that the phone has selected the wrong apn when it first searched for networks.
I would recommend to force a manual search and manual selection.
Settings, more, mobile networks. Check Network mode is lte, even though you are after 3G. Then select mobile operators, it will scan and list all the networks it can see, find the 3g network and select it, make sure the tick remains after you click it.

I did do that, the 3G was already selected... if I make an update myself will I lose the warranty? I tried to replace my.device, they told me it needs to be send to service for inspection and if the device is faulty i'll get a new one. Will keep you updated, don't like how things started with my XZ.
bands
Maybe, because the HSDPA in T mobile are in the bands 1700 and 2100, just like the 3G, and the Xperia Z model c6603 uses bands 850/900/1700 only!!! the C6602 model uses the same bands plus /1900/2100 so, if you miss one band in T mobile you will never have the HSDPA speed, no matter the firmware, because is hardware,no software, you can see the bands that t Mobile uses here http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-4988 and you can see what bands uses the Xperia Z C6603 here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_Xperia_Z

I don't believe that would be the issue since I had no problems with the HTC DHD which suports only HSDPA 900 / 2100, and according to GSMARENA the C6603 supports HSDPA 850 / 900 / 2100...
I went to Tmobile today, tested my micro sim, put it in another phone (got the H+ icon), but the speed was the same as on my XZ. Put it in another C6603 and I noticed that it also lacks the "H+" icon, so what they told me is that 3G+ actually means it connects with HSDPA. So is that normal not to have "H+" icon showing in the signal strength bars?

well, according to T mobile
Depending on where a tower is at in the 4G life cycle, theoretical maximum download speeds range from 21 Mbps – 42 Mbps.
T-Mobile's HSPA+ network operates on the same band as our 3G network, Band IV, which uses 1700 MHz and 2100 MHz frequencies to transmit voice and data services. The 1700 MHz frequency sends information to cell sites and the 2100 MHz frequency receives information.
As with our 3G network, both 1700 MHz frequency and 2100 MHz frequency are required for a device to function. If a device only has one of these frequencies, it cannot use T-Mobile’s 3G and 4G networks.
T-Mobile is switching some 1900 MHz frequency from EDGE to HSPA+. This will allow devices that work on 1900 MHz, such as AT&T devices, to use our 4G network.
and yes,the Xperia z uses UMTS HSPA+ Bands 1, 3, 5, 8 which are
1 for 2100, 3 for 1800, 5 for 850 and 8 for 900
This info is according to Sony Official Page www.sonymobile.com, so as you can see you are missing one band, the 1700

It doesn't matter what phones you have previously tested with. If your phone does not support the bands your operator uses then it ain't going to work. You can be sure the GSMArena is wrong with many specs on phones, especially HTC phones because HTC makes so many varients it is almost impossible to track or show. If you purchased this HTC phone in the US you can be sure that is supports US networks.
Exactly as stated above, if you do not have 1700 & 2100Mhz for T-Mobile then you will only get 2G

It most likely means you are not in a LTE area. 3G is UMTS and H HSPA+. I am sure if it was LTE you would see LTE or 4G on the screen. Run speed test and go to the settings menu and see what connection you are getting. It will tell you if it is one of the top 3. I do not think LTE is in Chicago yet for T-Mo. Also T-Mo changes the 3G/H with a 4G logo to make you think the phone is 100% of the time in 4G mode, it isn't. during sleep/deep sleep the phone goes into 3G (UMTS) to save battery.
Also make sure you have a LTE-capable SIM from T-mo.

Tmobile's LTE is Band IV 1700, no?
The unlocked developer's edition DOES NOT support that signal.
Am I mistaken?
Furthermore, if I'm not mistaken about this too, I believe the dev edition only supports Tmobile's HSPA 21 MB/s. It doesn't even support HSPA+ 42 MB/s.
Please correct me if I'm wrong? What will the refarming do?

It seems to be true that the dev edition will only do 21Mb/s and only where 1900 has been refarmed in regards to HSPA. It DOES support T-Mobile LTE though which is listed as AWS (1700/2100 bands) in the tech specs.

I thought Tmobile LTE is only 1700, which isn't listed from HTC's website of the Dev edition:
Compatible on these frequencies:
HSPA/WCDMA: 850/1900/2100 MHz
GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
LTE: 700/850/AWS/1900 MHz (US)
But you also said 2100 which is listed. Is 2100 also LTE? I thought 2100 was only HSPA+? If it is LTE, why isn't it in the LTE category from the website?
All genuine questions. I'm confused.

I won't claim to be an expert on radio frequencies but it I would propose that there's nothing stopping a radio from being capable of picking up two different formats at the same frequency (at separate times). It just depends which format is broadcast at a given frequency in the area.

AWS is 1700/2100. TMO uses 1700 for up or down ( i can remember which) and 2100 for the other. 3G and HSPA wont work unless you are in a refarmed area on the dev edition. As someone said previously, "H" should be LTE since Chicago and suburbs have both LTE and have been refarmed. I have a dev edition and will be switching to TMO next month, and I live in Chicago as well. Im hoping that someone will get AWS frequencies unlocked on the dev edition. In the mean time:
OP try the following-
Flash a tmo stock rom and see what it gives you for signal. It should show LTE instead of H, but no difference in speed.
I will return it and get tmo version

I would much rather keep my dev edition, but if it's not going to get LTE, that may sway me toward the Tmobile version also. Is that why you're doing it?

Do you mean AWS 1900? So that's 4G LTE?
Then what's the big fuss about "Band IV 1700" LTE? Is that a different sort of LTE? Better? Worse?
Appreciate you clarifying. I'm confused.
It will work. There's various screenshots of it working. Also a HTC rep clarified this not too long ago on Twitter.

onthecouchagain, you gotta actually read man. AWS IS T-Mobile LTE. AWS 1900 doesn't mean anything. Go back and read the specs for the developer edition, it says LTE support bands are 700/850/AWS/1900. See how the third item there is AWS. AWS is the band (or more specifically set of bands) that run T-Mobile LTE. And as numerous people on this thread have already reported, the developer edition works on T-Mobile LTE. The only thing the developer edition doesn't support is UTMS 1700, which means if you don't live in a refarmed 1900 MHZ area OR you don't live in an area where T-Mobile has LTE live, then you'll only get edge speeds and won't pick up HSPA+ on the 1700 mhz band.
Can anyone please give me link to order HTC One Developers Edition online who can ship internationally. I stay in KSA ( MEA ) nd was looking to buy a 64gb model. I would appreciate if some give me link from a reliable website with a good price tag.

LTE may work if it's 2100 MHz band. In my opinion, you'd better ask someone to test LTE in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2398755
T-Mobile uses both 1700 and 2100 simultaneously for LTE, so it won't work with the Butterfly S.
You'll only get 3G where T-Mobile has it refarmed to 1900mhz.

Hey,
I live in India and the model sold here is HTC One 801e. I am willing to buy this phone but 4G isn't available in my state. It may come, it may not.
My question is "Does this model (801e) support 4G LTE?".
Thanks.
Not supported in India pal. India uses different LTE frequency compared to rest of the world, whcich means phones supporting LTE from other countries does not support India LTE (except China which is possibly using the same frequency)

India uses 1800 and 2300 MHz..... The HTC One 801n supports 1800 and 2600... Can't it support Indian LTE if/when it comes?
India has TD LTE 40 which is a different tech totally compared to the tech in rest of the world. The frequency for it is 2300.
Only the iPhone 5s supports it.
