[How to] Polaris Office 5 on xperia z - Xperia Z Themes and Apps

Hi guys not sure if this is known or not but you can make Polaris Office 5 work on Xperia Z
Step 1
Go to system and find build.prop
Open it and find ro.product.model
Change it to ro.product.model=GT-I9500
(gt-i9500 is the galaxy s4 model and it tricks polaris into thinking your phone is the s4)
Step 2
Install polaris office
download from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2300090
Should have fully working polaris office with no watermark

Req : Samsung B6520 Omnia Pro 5 Default Themes & Wallpapers

hey there..
This is my first post on Xda..! and I'm here with a request right away..
I just got a Samsung GT-6520 Omnia Pro 5 a couple of days back.. It runs on Windows Mobile Standard 6.5
While trying to delete stuff off my old memory card, i accidentally deleted the existing themes & wallpapers.
And i virtually have nothing on my phone now to make it look fancy.
I want to know if there's some way i can get them all back?
Kindly help me..

[Q] Test application for OpenCL

Hi guys, i'm an Italian student of Computer Science..
I would like to develop an application that uses OpenCL, but I'm not sure if this is "enabled" on the HTC One (despite the hardware allows it). Since I do not have this device, I wanted to ask you if someone could test the following application to see if it works on a HTC One (if it works, OpenCL should work).
Link for application: code.google.com/p/aopencl/downloads/list
(copy and paste please, i haven't 10 posts )
(same question is reported into Samsung Galaxy S4 section because have the same gpu)
(sorry for my English)
Thanks to all!!! :fingers-crossed:

[Q] Direct Syncing Outlook on a PC with Win Phone 8

I've had a search here already and could not find an answer, so ...
Is there anyway to directly sync (in both directions) a Windows Phone 8 mobile with MS Outlook (no exchange server) on a PC ?
I've been using my Outlook on my PC as a central point of control since I moved from my SE T68i/Palm Tungsten T2 combination to a SE P900, so over a decade now, and have no intentions to change (plus I, for various reasons, have no desire to dump my personal data in 'The Cloud').
I was able to do this with my old WinMobile 5 and 6 phones (through Activesync ?) and then my android phones (through MyPhoneExplorer on my Nexus 4 and on my older Desire Z when HTC dropped the ball on the Gingerbread upgrade), but I know yo could not do so with Win Phone 7.
Note if it's manufacturer specific (as it is with Android) then it's the Nokia Lumia 1020 that's tempting me with it's compact camera sensor (or is it a compact camera with a phone module included ....).
If it's not possible to do it with manufacturer/Windows software, then are there third party applications out there (such as MyPhoneExplorer) ?

I'm going to check later but this question has been asked before, an I'm fairly sure it was almost exactly the same question, I also have a feeling it was asked in wp7 as well ages ago. H
No is the answer, an the my phone explore option you talk about for android, by your own admission, doesn't work correctly either.
I know change seems a pain in the arse, but if you want full out look sync then your going to have to go back to something like the HTC HD2 and use wm 6
My friend, an in sure it was you I spoke to before about wp7, this is never going to change, you can have it with wm6, you can have a bodged version with android, but wp has left that (admitted fairly useful) feature behind, the cloud is the future, like it or not.
