[THEME][JB][SONY XHDPI DEVICE] Custom Xperia Default Theme Engine "Update v2"
Hello... , just a little sharing themes, yes .. This theme is defualt sony theme engine and very simple theme, and this for starters, maybe for the next time I want to try to create a theme system and Xtheme Engine theme..
This theme base on default sony theme on JB ROM for Xperia TX build 9.1.B.1.67.
And this theme can work on Sony XHDPI device with stock JB ROM like :

HOW TO INSTALL :
- Put or copy Custom_Default_Theme_xxx.zip to internal storage/internal SD
- Power off your phone
- Go to recovery
- Wipe cache and dalvik cache
- Go to Install ZIP trom SD card
- Choose ZIP
- select Custom_Default_Theme_xxx.zip and flash it
- Wipe cache and dalvik cache
- Reboot system now...

- Decompile the theme
- go to res\drawable-xhdpi, change semc_bg_bright_tile.png to your favorite background...
- recompile

It's easy to change it yourself. Rename the theme's file extension from .apk to .zip, use 7zip to replace the pics in the folder with those that you want, and rename back to .apk.

Lol sorry for starting already. But here are a few bugs I have noticed.
1. The status bar dims out in certain apps. Like for example the xda app.
2. The keyboard layout for my particular device is not right. Arabic that is.
3. I got this error in titanium backup.

1. Still i didnt find that statusbar dims problem, Can any others confirm please? anyways ill see that issue..
2. Its only en for now.. im working n other keyboard layouts.. will upload soon..

Do u mean the ash color of status bar?? Did u do a Darvic cache clear??
Also can u tell me about your battery backup?
Yup that's exactly what I mean. And I did do a dalvik cache wipe before install. All wipes that is. Well the battery has been lasting quite a while but i also have been extensively using the device.
The battery timing does look promising. Hard to tell right now. Maybe after one or two cycles.
One more thing? My device is smoother than my Xperia S! LOL..

In case you have not noticed, arc and pro shares a thread, and it has been going on for quite a while now.
They share a forum. The arc and the pro. But if you notice? Words like {PRO} and MK16.. should tell you that this is for the Xperia pro.
After installing this rom, I cannot post using my XDA app. And I cannot do purchases on my play store. Superuser is not working properly too.
So I downloaded playstore 3.5.16 and install over the rom's playstore. Play store then worked properly. Then I used tapatalk instead.
As for Superuser, I uninstalled the one that comes from rom and reinstall from market.
Now rom seems to be wokring well.

Works on deodex. However, it seems to make some processes FC.

i guess this apk has having any trouble..
because i decompile and recompile it gives me translation error
i jus wanted to change the navigation softkeys to 48dpi which is stock one in values dimes.xml
would you please do it???
becuase i did it but it gives me translation error no doubt the apk is recompiled but ends with bootloop
hope you can make it with yours framework

Would it be possible for you it will jus.take five minutez to do it jus chage the navigation height to 48 and navigation width to 42 in values>dimes.xml save it and recompile it

The details are surprisingly complicated.
XDA.AGM：for text edits , when i ported in Xperia P , the fix is remove two png´s in drawable/Xhdpi/ or XXhdpi/ who are in conflicts with new .xml files related to textEdit of course
for checkbox animations is more dificult .... needs some modification in framework.jar . hope this help

wow this one works with 48dpi booted...right now everythng working great and i know translations its not an issue but previously the framework was nt booting up but the new framework which you gave booted up working great:laugh::victory:

Todays brings a new theme for Theme Chooser , I love the new sony honami style, I tried to change almost all the framework.
I managed to make animations in check / radio , not the same behavior of honami framework... but looks well.
i made for my personal use, tested only with Xperia Z PAC-Rom ( CM10.2) ( this is why i make the thread here ) .
really was not all my idea, I take some concepts from Rizals lovins Xperia Theme & Holo Glass theme & mixed with new honami things

rooted / locked bootloader
builed: 10.3.1.A.0.244
as a resume: app was installed. I also copied it to system/app , rebooted and the theme is not available under themes...i only get the default ones.

Xperia Stock theme engine don't allow to do this.....
Maybe in stock with Xtheme engine for Xposed framework.... But need port and some specific device redirections.

I installed this and it works well on cm10 Asylum ROM. The only thing I can see it hasn't themed is my battery icon. It still shows the cm battery. Thanks

I've only got one tiny niggle with it, some of the circular radio buttons (especially on reboot menu) look a bit big, but I can live with that..

Being as I really like this theme I decided to adapt it for the Xposed Xtheme engine.
Works a treat on Pabx Aosp rom..
I've not changed anything, including the appname or details internally

Im using it with CM 10.2 on Xperia Z C6603, Battery,Wifi and other status bar icons are really big, is this the way it is supposed to be?
Are you able to descripe how to reduce Icon size or can you make a modified version? Would be much appreciated.

thanks glad you like it ... yes this is the intended icons ( XXHdpi same stock Sony) but if I gets free time for this. I going to update with Xhdpi resources and maybe hdpi.... but I don´t know when...
how to reduce icons ? you can with photoshop or gimp ( or specific software for resize ) is really easy to changes images in APK´s without decompiling...

Hello Xperia community... We know SONY made 4.3 jelly bean rom with many features, one of which is the "Xperia™ theme", as on CM ROM (theme chooser). This makes me happy because this is one of my hobbies .
Finally, i have time to make a theme, and now it is finished.

man read the instruction first , you must be rooted and use the superuser mod, im using ZL rooted with superuser mod and it works perfect!
Remove the 'xperia' on th wallpapers and I will be more happy.Thanks

u cant ..it is theme based .. unless u want to edit the theme by urself and replace them

Thanks mate.. This is my first Theming work.. I take base files from Xperia Z. Not from Z1..
And i edited all files in framework without any bootloops...

I dont hav a Z1 with me.. But i think its all same. Only app version number will change and some public and layout files...

Better than the other 'dark apps' mods, no doubt. Especially the phonebook.
Small suggestion; the green button in the alarm clock app and phone/dialer. Can't you make it less bright? Perhaps without the white border.. Doesn't really fit in. Perhaps something more like Sense:

Seems to have been a one-time thing. I'm on Existenz.
How hard would it be to theme the phonebook/dialer/semcphone to look more like oldschool Sony? The new look is a bit bland, solid colors and so.. Maybe I'm the only one who really liked the old

Its the accent color of the theme he uses. Youre using the default one.

you are right, and I'm sorry for the big post.
this mod is absolutely great.
the only problem I have so far, is that in calendar when you have an appointment or reminder, it is not so visible.
the notification is dark blue and in black background it is difficult to see (see photo 1 - 3 march and 25 march have events...)
the past events are in black font in dark background, so not very visible (see photo 2)
widget show events in dark font in dark background (see photo 3)

Yes it will but except Phonebook and SemcPhone. May b it will giv u force close error. U can try with a backup
