Hello guys
I want to flash and try out a few custom kernel. But before I start I want to have a copy of the stock kernel. Can somebody please provide the link to the stock 4.2.2 sense 5 kernel?
Thanks in advance.

Just make a nandroid backup on boot partition. That'll backup your stock kernel. By that you could restore it back if you want. You can easily do that with TWRP recovery. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

You're correct. But because of some sort of bug in TWRP, I'm unable to restore from the backup that I made. So I'm looking for a link to the stock kernel.

Thank you very much =)
I see it's the kernel from the 2.17 base. I was looking for the 2.24 base. Are they the same?

Thanks for that but would that also include the modules for stock kernel or just boot.img?

Can anyone help me to uninstall CWM?

Can anyone help me to uninstall CWM? I would like to return my recovery to stock (v30b/c). Can anyone provide a completely stock recovery.img or flashable zip for me to uninstall CWM? Thanks for your attention.:good:
I'm not sure if this is possible, but the quickest way for the moment would be to reflash with 30B binaries. they aren't patched so you'll get a complete stock system

Well it is possible, the question is only: what for? You cant install cwm on stock v30. Did you brick your phone or what?

package_extract_file("recovery.img", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p4");
It will be just minutes to NOOBY to create the zip. But yeah, why you want it?

The zip is going to be created? I hope it will be a stock kernel. The reason is so odd. It is because there is a game which cant run on a phone with installed cwm (I've checked) but I would like to play it. Although I know SmartFlashTool can flash stock rom, it is hard to change things in the rom. Thank for attention and replies.

Would this zip file work for me if I want to try it too ? I want to try TWRP recovery. Btw what's your opinion about TWRP ? Better then cwm ?

I was a tester for Varun on that ROM. I used it since begining and stopped after JB come out. Just install it by the guide, wipe system and all written in ROMs thread. It will work fine.
