I know HALO has been developed for the paranoidandroid ROM, I was wondering if there was any hope for a similar app that could be used on the "stock" ROM (Android 4.1.2 for instance). Or is this already possible as a function and/or app and I'm just not aware of it?
Thanks for the help in understanding!
Nevermind, found what I was looking for. Floating Notifications app is working great.

Hi there, I wanna know the differences between the TW & CM.
I also want to know if I switch to CM, will be there specif apps(APKs) that can be installed on it ? Will I be able for example to push samsung apps to CM? or only samsung apps will be the apps that won't work on CM? and what am I gonna lose/win when I switch to CM?
Thanks in advance.
TW stands for touchwizz by samsug
now if you switch to Cyanogenmod(CM) apps bases on TW will not work like s-note
every other app will work fine

Swype does not come with CM, and it is not available in play store, only as a proprietary app, meaning it is only available pre-installed. You can however find copies of Swype here on XDA (use search).
Also, matemathic recognition is not available in any other note app than S-note as far as i know.
PA has always been one of my more favorite custom roms. Going to be buying a dev edition once it comes back in stock, and I was just curious as to if anyone is going to try and port PA.

Use to be my favorite but you really don't need paranoid to get the dual panel view, xposed framework has a module called app settings which gives you the dual panel view, I would like to see a slimrom instead but it will have to be built from source same as paranoid

I'd rather have a PA where everything is running natively from the rom itself rather than using xposed framework and installing all these separate modules.

Hello,
I have a rooted RAZR i and I'd like to customize my statusbar.
However, I don't want a third-party app running all the time and I've tried a few Xposed modules but they don't work properly.
So is there any other way to do this? Please help.
Regards,

No, either you use xposed (works like a charm for the rest of us) or use a system mod. There are many available here.
Hello guys!
I am posting this question here because i haven't found a solution for the problem i'm facing.
Recently i installed the newest nightly cm 11 from cyanogen website and i am not able to get the swype feature to work with the stock keyboard.
Is there anyone facing the same problem ? Is there a workaround for it other than install an alternative keyboard ?
Thanks in advance,
Regards!

Just install Google Keyboard from the play store, its basically the same as AOSP keyboard but with a GUI and themes, it should work..
Only work around is install another keyboard, I don't know of any fixes(other then waiting) but using Google keyboard is the way to go, if you want to delete the AOSP keyboard afterwards use a root explorer and navigate to System/App>Deleted LatinIME.apk and reboot.
Untested by the way, might not work on google keyboard, but I don't see why it shouldn't, its 3rd party!

I think this is directed more toward launcher devs but anyone's advice is welcome. Which files in the Google Home apk need modding to remove the search bar on the home screen?
I am surprised there are no responses, for a flashable zip or a replaced system spp?
Perhaps not what you are looking for, but if you are rooted and have Xposed, I believe XGELS works with the latest unofficial alpha build of Xposed.
