I'm not sure what the devs could do with this because there is a couple of things missing here and there.

back at google I/O people got JB either from the nexus or from the N7 and there were flashable ROM's before source dropped...so it is possible i think. but it probably wont be complete or very stable.
Also just to throw in, you can download all the system apps from that link

4.2.1 Update with CWM!

I haven't seen anybody mention this, so ignore me if this is common knowledge. I was on my stock 4.2 rooted ROM with CWM recovery and I got the 4.2.1 system update. Attempted it with CWM... And it worked. But not only did it work, after I choose reboot phone, CWM warned me that the ROM I just installed might try to flash stock recovery, and asked if I'd like to fix it. It then warned that I might lose root, again asking if I'd like to fix it. So now I'm on 4.2.1. Through system update. Kept CWM and root. Awesome!

Yaaa bro ... I was waiting for cm 11 for a long ...
Finally feeling proud to be a nexus owner.
Just flashed CM11 an hour ago. There's still a few things not translated properly, but those are very minor flaws. It's fast and smooth. Now i'm waiting for the Themes to be updated, so I can get my favorite look back

Is there an updated gapps for cm11? The play store is broken and the keyboard keeps crashing. Could be because I dirty flashed though.

Some of the 10.2 Features are missing but its a simple and smooth one

15 minutes in Bootloop already.......flashed this via CM Updater over 10.2.0.
So i have copied the Zip file (196.54 MB) from PC into the CM Folder on my Mako.
Any suggestions?
I know its not necessary but I have installed the latest bootloader: makoz30d and baseband: radio-mako-m9615a-cefwmazm-2.0.1700.97 on Nexus 4. Are they supported and will that boost performance ? Flashed through TWRP 6.3.3 and wiped system, dalvik and cache but not data. Everything is working rock solid till now. Thanks.

Derp. Thanks that's what I get for trying to play with a new build so late at night.
I actually found and installed the PA gapps package and that helped immensely. The only other thing I've had to do was uninstall/reinstall Google voice. Before I did that the phone was running hot (something was keeping the CPU awake). Seems to be running okay now though.

I reserve the right to be wrong but I think the baseband and boot loader didn't change from 4.3 to 4.4. At least my handset already had the versions that ate shipping in the factory 4.4 image package.

In the meantime i have done a full wipe and installed the ROM. Then i missed the Gapps so downloadeed them too. Re-installed everything and now it's running fluently.
No bugs recognized ... yet.

well I'm 2 for 2 on the migration to CM11
I would say modem / bootloader upgrades are recommended based on how poor my handset worked as a phone today...
EDIT: I figured out why I missed the bootloader / modem update. I downloaded the factory image and unpacked it, then looked at the file names. The files usually reflect the version but in this case they are still named after the 4.3 versions and not the 4.4 versions. After flashing anyway KRT16S gives me bootloader MAK0Z30d and modem .97

Installing a Stock ROM to dual boot with MultiROM

Hello,
Just wondering if it is possible to install a Stock ROM without root with MultiROM and keep my primary ROM (Pure Nexus) at the same time? Thanks!
Yeah, you can add what ever ROM you like. Or do you mean a stock system image, cos that's a different story...

Yep, just download the cleanest one you can find, probs stock, and flash it in recovery, but make sure you do it in the multirom section ?

I think Pure Nexus ROM is the closest you'll find, or maybe the full version of Cataclysm though it does have some tweaks. Probably the best bet.
