Hello,
Just wondering if it is possible to install a Stock ROM without root with MultiROM and keep my primary ROM (Pure Nexus) at the same time? Thanks!
Yeah, you can add what ever ROM you like. Or do you mean a stock system image, cos that's a different story...

I just want a nice clean unrooted ROM to flip back and forth from, is that possible?
Yep, just download the cleanest one you can find, probs stock, and flash it in recovery, but make sure you do it in the multirom section ?

Alright awesome Just wanted to make sure it wouldn't flash over anything like Radio or kernel. Will the stock OTA work?
No Unfortunately not but if you flash one from XDA they should always be pushing out updates which you can dirty flash

so these (http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/general/ref-nexus-6-stock-ota-urls-t2906493) won't work?
These will work but to get the ota's you'll need the stock recovery, so no twrp or anything

And where might one find the newest version? Does it matter that I use Verizon?
Find the ROM that you like and see if there a carrier specific ones, and I live on Australia, so I have no idea about Verizon etc ?

I think Pure Nexus ROM is the closest you'll find, or maybe the full version of Cataclysm though it does have some tweaks. Probably the best bet.

blackbean rom! my new favorite rom. im loving the look of black !
I haven't seen anybody mention this, so ignore me if this is common knowledge. I was on my stock 4.2 rooted ROM with CWM recovery and I got the 4.2.1 system update. Attempted it with CWM... And it worked. But not only did it work, after I choose reboot phone, CWM warned me that the ROM I just installed might try to flash stock recovery, and asked if I'd like to fix it. It then warned that I might lose root, again asking if I'd like to fix it. So now I'm on 4.2.1. Through system update. Kept CWM and root. Awesome!

I was wondering that also. I think that's the correct number, so maybe they do something weird with the versioning?
Moto's versioning sometimes makes no sense at all... The kernel is definitely newer as per its build date. I pulled both kernel and radio directly from the 9.30.1 OTA

in case anyone needs, here is little flashable zip I made that will revert you from ART to Dalvik from recovery (in case of trouble), at least it should.. tested on mine and it works (i tested on cm, but it should be universal).

Hi,
Because some people want use Xposed stuff (not compatible with ART runtime for now, even if it goes back automatically to Dalvik runtime if you choose ART) and there is still other apps/games not compatible with ART runtime...
And in case of bootloop due to an incompatibility with ART, this flashable zip can be useful.
depends, as I said some of the cm nightlies broke ART so phones would be stuck @ bootloop. yeah, I use ART also, but if your phone doesn't want to boot because of some incompatible change in ROM it is good to have safety net.

Not a valid reason for it to not work. Art works fine in stock rom. Hence, should also work fine on any ROM imo.

Indeed, I've always had that zip in my phone since the first time CM broke Art.
One question:- if I switch to ART..I've heard that the the sdcard space gets less. So when I switch to dalvik will I be able to get that occupied space back? Or I have to factory reset?

no need to factory reset. and that less space on sdcard is almost unnoticeable (well depends on how many apps you have)..

The bootloader is locked on SM-G730 which means you can't flash anything that is not signed from samsung unless someone comes up with a way to unlock it.
You can still root it and debloat, tweak, run Xposed etc
Official firmware can be found on SamMobile in case you'll need it.
