I was wondering that also. I think that's the correct number, so maybe they do something weird with the versioning?

Moto's versioning sometimes makes no sense at all... The kernel is definitely newer as per its build date. I pulled both kernel and radio directly from the 9.30.1 OTA

Can anyone post just the radio in flashable form ? Just want to put it on the 4.4 ROM. Tx

Correct me if I'm wrong... wouldn't this kernel only be for stock based ROMS as AOSP ROMS use a custom kernel?

I can just leave root as where I an now and upgrade my ROM with the latest 3.4kernal tweaks that the devs have started? Thanks

Is there a fix for this? I noticed after I installed elementalx 13.5.1 I lost front camera and auto rotate. Im on the current software update 5.03.651.3, and if I restore a backup prior to the kernel install everything works fine. Thanks
Elementalx 13.1 on Viperone 6.2.1
Hey guys,
I am having a problem with Elementalx on my M7 sprint. Hboot 1.55. S-on. Let me break down my actions and outcomes. I started with Viperone 6.2.1 on stock kernel.
1 wipe cache and dalvik then flash Elementalx > NFC broken
2 Flash stock kernel. > NFC still broken
3 wipe cache and dalvik then flash rom > NFC working again
4 Fresh download of rom and kernel , full wipe then flash rom. reboot then flash kernel. > NFC broken.
5 wipe cache and dalvik then relash rom. > NFC working
BTW the aroma installer reflashes the stock kernel whenever I flash the rom.
Any Ideas?

There is a new safestrap version (you can find the thread in the development section), try to install the script after upgrading safestrap (you can find the instructions there). If that's not working, let Mentor know in the patch's thread.

One more thing: have you edited the build.prop manually before installing the script? Because the script won't work in that case AFAIK.
Also have you tried on other ROM?

3.72 is the latest one and it contains mainly recovery related updates. I think it should work fine.
I only encountered your problem once. I wanted to install eclipse rom from Safestrap 3.65, but the rom's install script was not compatible. I had to revert to Safestrap 3.11.

Installing a Stock ROM to dual boot with MultiROM

Yeah, you can add what ever ROM you like. Or do you mean a stock system image, cos that's a different story...

I think Pure Nexus ROM is the closest you'll find, or maybe the full version of Cataclysm though it does have some tweaks. Probably the best bet.
