Transitions

Hey guys.. I just have a question about transitions. I'm on apex 7.2 and I was wondering how I can get custom transitions animations. My friend has the screens rotating in a circle and I thought that was pretty cool. Any help would be great... Thanks

which launcher was he using?

Oh I don't know.. I'll ask.. The transitions in the settings were also like that though.. I'm using touchwiz 4.5.. Is it possible with this launcher?

If u use ADW launcher you will have 6-8 different type of transitions. One of them is circular. As of now this isnt possible in Tw4.5

Go Launcher Ex
I think it was Go Launcher Ex chariot transition.

launcherpro has the same effect also

Stock weather widget with nova launcher

Hi. I installed nova launcher so I can disable wallpaper scrolling. But I cannot use the stock weather widget. I can use it only with touchwiz. Is there a way to use it on nova launcher too?

I have the exact same issue with Apex launcher.
The stock app is really nice so a work around would be sweet.
I'm using the yahoo weather widget at the moment. Looks pretty good.

Trebuchet and no theme..

Trebuchet with miui theme...is awesome.. simple less ram consumig

I'm really in love with nova. Especially the gesture support. I have completely personalised my phone. Any stranger would never understand how to use my phone. He wouldn't even be able to get into the app drawer! It's customization plus awesomeness plus security all at once.

I'm using adw launcher with no theme (just an icon pack).
It looks awesome with zooper widget

Thanks but I'm actually looking for a theme and not a launcher. I can't leave Nova

Nova launcher notification bar

i used the Xperia stock launcher of my Z1 a few times and I find it to be limiting. That is why switched to Nova, but I want to retain the opaque/transparent notification bar of the stock launcher.
How can I solve this?

I think we have to wait next Nova Launcher update...the same we did with Xperia Z...

That applies to the Xperia Z and not for the Z1. We still need to wait for an update from the developers.

It works very well on my Xperia ZL

I tried several launchers in last 2 days, no one has transparent status and soft bottoms bars. It is only on stock laucher. I bought a beautiful KitKat theme from market, but because of those black lines in launcher can`t use it every day.

I am using RomAur 3.3 with Nova launcher 2.3 beta and the status bar is transparent. As of RomAur 3.3 it works.

Just installed Nova launcher v.2.3b3, the bar is not transparent. I don't know how Monx did that.

Not transparent with monxdified here either, but you mean auras76 (from RomAur rom) I guess?
I actually just tried flashing the file supplied by auras76 in his rom thread:

I flashed this on the monxdified rom and it seems to work fine! I now have transparent task/statusbars Please make a backup before trying this, I have not extensively tested it but it boots fine and things look ok to me.

do you know if it works on odex stock ROM?

I hope someone brings transparent status bar and softkey's soon, rooted my Z1 today hoping to get transparent status bar with Nova beta 2.3, but no joy....someone said to try gravitybox but from what I've seen it means flashing stuff and I would rather not.

Go to settings > wallpapers & themes and select wallpapers. That's where the original animated wallpapers are, not sure about the motion though maybe set it in ToucWiz first and then switch back to Nova

thats funny.. i just installed Nova and i do have that stock motion effect wallpaper while using Nova
just set it again in the default theme setting
best of both worlds combined into one
