ICS for stock v20n

Hi there!
I was bored and made a theme for v20n.
If anyone wants to develope it just do it!
Here is the update! ONLY WORKS with rom which includes some lg stuff. Best choice if u install a stock rom than install this theme and after clean up lg stuff. But look at the update which files needs to be kept. DELETE DownloadProvider.apk from the zip before u install it cuz it will force close your market and your browser when u want to dl something.
There will be a next one maybe, sometime

mine doesnt deodexed, but i guess it would work with that too..
anyways dont u know where can i find the dial pad numbers? there arent in the phone apk.. maybe HIME.apk?

Great start! I would say the Wifi icon looks too big, and notifications area needs some work. All the rest looks great (all I can see in these screenshots).

thanks for mirror. this one is more polished but it lacks ics window animations. somebody should mix this with donjamal's theme and add crt effect

both of this ics themes are compatible with redy's v20n rom. just throw desired theme .zip file to your sd card and flash with cwm. (choose "install zip form sd card" option at cwm and find your file)

i'm not pro at this. so i won't provide a guide u can use this guide with my file but it's not that safe.
this modification is for chinese ics them. not for donjamal's theme. and it's tested on redy's non-deodexed v20n repackage.

sorry, i don't know how to create a flashable zip. u can use that guide with root explorer if you want to.

Stock apps with ics icons

here are some stock apps (from zeus v1, thanks heuxx) with ICS icons....i use ZUES v1 with the ICS theme by gabwerkz (thanks). just replaced the stock icons with ICS ones to get a streamline look
btw, the mms, contacts, phone and browser are the ICS themed apps from the chinese ICS theme.
try them if you feel fit. check the screenshots.

Good stuff thanks for this! I think the phone.apk has a bug,it doesn't display the contacts icon on the tabs unless you press on it,is it just me ?

Some of them yes. Some are not. If this is a framework stuff it absolutely will brick your phone. Why don't you use ICS theme for CM7 theme chooser??

I mean the launcher does that work on cm and so ted could you give me the Original one with the Original icons

no it will not work on cm7
this is just the LG home with modified icons. it requires the framework to run.
i made it to get a streamline look with zeus as i was using the ICS theme by gabwerkz. every app with ICS icon is stock LG app, along with the home.
hope i cleared any doubt.
*just a small app* i don't know if it is relevant to post it here, but there is an app from SE in the market called "appxplore". it's very small (<50kb) and shows the certificate, flags, si8gnatures,permissions, activities, source and data directory, backup agent(if any), debug info, etc. it's a handy tool for any1 who like wants to port an app which has framework and library dependencies.

I just put them into a flashable zip and flash it or directly into the rom when you flash the rom..

Normal color is white and on press is black... i want to reverse this.. but i think it's not possible.. 'cause color will be modified everywhere..or maybe i'm wrong

I have done some minor edit on framework causing the submenu text dark. As for background, I think that you can`t change it via xml, you have to edit png`s (off course, changes will be visible in all menus who are calling that specific png).

After trying every ROM that seemed promising, I came back to Emanon for its stability and performance.
I just don't like the stock interface that much. So I themed our Emanon in the ParanoidDarkness style.
What is themed:
-Framework
-SystemUI
-SMS app (you have to use Memo skin)
-In-call interface (I don't use the stock dialer so I didn't theme it)
-Circle Lockscreen

and to everyone, if u want to use this but dont know how, just follow this tut, untill OP updates in main post :good:
1. flash emanon
2. keep the above theme in sd-card
3. boot into recovery
4. mount system
5. choose this zip and flash it
6. after flashing wipe cache
7. wipe dalvik cache
8. reboot and enjoy the theme..

Since it is a flashable zip, I thought it doesn't need additional guiding.
Wiping cache and dalvik-cache isn't necessary because android detects that the apk's are different at boot and reoptimizes them.

No, it doesn't work. Emanon is stock odexed and has some framework modification. The Emanon mods are not compatible with other roms.

You need Apk Multi Tool to handle the apk file. You can find it here:
APK Multi Tool Download
After you set up the multi tool, place the Mms.apk in the place-apk-here-for-modding folder, run the Script.bat from the main folder and choose 9 to decompile the apk.
You will find the decompiled apk in the projects folder.
Make any changes you want then compile the apk by choosing 11.
PS: When you edit the .9.png files you have to be careful not to edit the black edges of the pictures.

I modded most of the pngs (message bubbles, backgrounds, headers etc.) and edited some of the colors and dimensions in values/colors and in layout/
I don't remember every xml I edited.
I remember modding:
compose_message_activity
conversation_list_item
conversation_list_screen

Yes, I know. This is the only bug I can't repair. The "black on black" occurs only in the power menu and very very rarely in some other menus of some apps. I don't know how to fix that.

[Boot Animation] ctOS + OnePlus One

Well, hello everyone. I'm spanish, please have mercy :good:
This is probably my first topic in XDA so I'll try to do it right (and write it well) . Many days ago I saw a boot animation about ctOS of Watch_Dogs (THIS) made by @nissanskylinebam and I liked it a lot but I thought to make one myself because I wanted the OnePlus One stock boot animation with ctOS style. So here we are.
Root is needed to change the boot animation.
The preview (bad quality and blablabla, I know. I worked with two gifs and I only have 4GB of RAM, my photoshop explodes with this kind of works :good:

To use it just backup your current boot animation (for avoid any problems), rename mine to bootanimation.zip, put it in /system/media and change the permissions to rw-r--r--.

Flash the second zip with custom recovery.

Install the apk and choose it from Settings > Themes > Boot Animations.
I've been forced to put a couple of basic rules:
- You can share this, giving credits.
- You can modify this, put this into your rom or something like that, giving credits (only if you share your work, obviously...)
- You can use it for free. You see that, right? Well, only if you like it, and if you want, please press the thanks button.

Very nice work! I had to reboot my device like 10 times for it to work, but thats just because im stupid I didn't understand the process of changing the permissions and on my way to learning how to do it I changed permissions of the Media folder first. So yeah, never do that and you people should be fine and have fun with this awesome Bootanimation.

I searched the PA boot animation but I don't really know what is the latest. On the other hand that boot animation uses RGB instead of Grayscale and with only 4GB of RAM my computer probably can't work with a lot of that kind of images/gifs because currently is too slow to work in Grayscale (my cpu is an AMD FX8350 x8 4GHz and my gpu is a Gigabyte GeForce GTX760 so that's the reason why I think that my problem is with my limited RAM).
