Motorola Atrix Webtop on Xoom?

Has anyone tried to get the Atrix 4g Webtop application working on the Xoom?
These devices share processors (Tegra 250) and both have an HDMI port, but I don't know enough about the program or how it would react to Honeycomb.
If you don't know that Webtop is, check here. There are simple mods to make it work on the Atrix without the Motorola dock. Some dude also figured out how to reduce the restrictions to make it more like Ubuntu.
yeah i am really interested about the topic too
Agreed! I want this or even a wireless one would be cool
Count me in as the interested as well
Would be more interested in a virtual box running a build of linux on the XOOM without a need for an external monitor

[Q] Ubuntu and Incredible S

I was wondering if Ubuntu can run on the Incredible S. From Ubuntu website it says that it is supposed to run on dual cores only. I am sure that Ubuntu can run on a ARM 1ghz cpu. Also is there a dock that connects the incredible s to a screen and desktop? I did some search but couldn't find anything. Thanks!
We didnt have a Video out... idk really if it works, but if it does, it would be laggy...

I once found a way to install it on android. It was a kind of virtual ubuntu running over android. It worked nice but the 4Giga system image was too big for my poor 16G sd so I uninstalled it. It is also not optimised for touchscreen so a little difficult to use.
I don't remember the name but if you're interested I can look for it when I'm on my computer in about 2-3 hours.

[MOD]Native Ubuntu and Android on Nexus 7

Some of probably already had this idea but here it is anyways........
1.Get native ubuntu on your nexus 7 from https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Nexus7/Installation
2.After that get wine application from ubuntu software center or here http://www.winehq.org/download/ubuntu
3.After you have wine installed get bluestacks from here http://bluestacks.com/ (PLEASE TEST THIS!!!!!)
4.There you go you now can run some android apps while having ubuntu!!!
Won't work.
Wine isn't an emulator, so it won't run x86 Windows software on ARM
This would be so slow it would be unusable, also this isn't how wine runs.

Well then by that this can be closed mods

What desktop OS are you using ?

Hi all,
just a question, or a poll, what OS are you using for your desktop, Win - Lin - Mac ...?
Windows 7 ultimate
Xperia™ Z (C6602) with Tapatalk.
I'm using Kubuntu 14.04.1, but I may switch to elementary OS Freya when it becomes stable.
Old laptop: Linux Mint 17 mate default but I installed LXDE with the mint theme.
Newer laptop: LM 17 Cinnamon with LXDE and a different theme that I can't remember off the top or bottom or my head.

Mint @ Enlightenment are a pretty fast duo ..no! ... there are a blazing fast composition, anyone who disagrees blame me for.I just just can't remember how many times I had to install Win in the past four years until discovered Linux true to a good friend of mine (developer), freedom at your fingers . Just test distros and report ...
Ubuntu 14.04, although I still sometimes have to boot Windows 8 to play some of my games -_-

Windows 7 ultimate for my gaming desktops and Mac OS 10.10 on my Macbook Air. Even though I don't mind Windows , if it was possible to game on Mac OS X and install it on my desktops I would definitely be using it on all my computers.

Closely matches this here thread...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1765837
I suggest we try to keep things less cluttered and attempt to use pre-existing threads if at all possible. Cheers.
