If you're stock press/hold vol-down and power.
If using CWM, wipe all data.

Function of Reset button is Master Clear?
Please answear for me, thanks.
It resets the files so you can fix if accidentally put wrong tar or pda files for example but doesn't reset phone just resets file selection to flash

Following what Leezerd said, if you want a Master Clear, you can use the odin one-click. It has a MC function.

Hi,
Basically I'm trying to reset my Galaxy Note (Stock) ICS.
I tried the three finger salute (volume up+ home+ power button) and the "Factory Data Reset" in settings.
Everything is being erased and reset, but somehow some data is still left on the phone since games like GTA 3 and Machinarium don't require me to download the extra game data, indicating the while the device was "reset" it wasn't a full one.
My question is, is there any way to do a full full reset, where everything is erased?
Anyone?
Is there another hard reset procedure?

You can perform full reset by opening the dial pad then key in the following code in sequence; *2767*3855#
Yes
Yes the problem is that the factory reset does not format your SD card.
So you dont need to wonder that there are still the gaming files.
You can format your SD card in the settings menu.
Hope that could help
Hi
I'm not familiar with this phone so please forgive me if I'm asking a dumb question.
My bro has locked himself out of his phone.. pattern unlock. And cannot now remember his gmail account either.

My friend has a password in Hebrew on this phone and cannot load the Hebrew keyboard.
When he trying to do the reset from the boot loader menu, the phone asks for a password.
Is there is a factory password or is the phone asking for the Hebrew password?

I don't know but it does. When I google it I see the people can't do the wipe because they don't have the password.
