I own a Razr (XT890) and with 8 days of use the touch screen just stopped responding altogether. I wonder if this really is a problem of "hardware" or if it's a bug or something like android? I did not change anything in the system, is original. The only thing I did was to update the phone itself, where he was 871.110.12002.XT890.Vivo.en.BR and became 871.110.12011.XT890.Vivo.en.BR. Since after the upgrade, the phone worked normally for 3 days until it stopped responding to touch.
Thank you in advance for help.
Hardware failure

Hi guys
Just bought Axon and first thing I found is that proximity sensor doesn't do its work well at least on my phone. When I am on call holding my phone by ear the screen is till on unless I turned it on pushing power button. Does anybody has the same issue, is this a software bug which can be fixed with future updated?
My device was working great but recently developed this bug. I noticed it after my last playstore update to 6.0.0. Device also doesn't seem to sleep anymore so my battery life fell off a cliff. Going to try a factory reset.

My bug has gone but light sensor is not working well in most cases I have to adjust it manually. I got the same version of Google play as you do. To maintain proper battery life try to install cm cleaner or something similar.
Thanks for the battery saving tip will check it out. Unfortunately for me factory reset changed nothing annoying as hell having to manually turn off the screen for all calls.

I have the mini and I too have the proximity issue. Really annoying.

Hi all,
Just bought a p9 today and trying to get it set up how I like but can't find a way to get rid of the nfc notification (without switch nfc off). Is there any way of doing it without rooting?
Thanks
Skooby
Afaik, there is no way

Thought that was going to be the answer. That sucks. Guess I won't be leaving it switched on then
The frequency stay always in the maximum, with the CPU-Z or AIDA64, the visualisation is the same in both.
Anyone know what's happening? This occur even when the phone is not in use.

-- UPDATE --
Apparently, devices with the Goodix fingerprint sensor, when activating the use of the same to unlock the screen, has the processor locked at high frequency.

Maybe some stuck app
unless it's a software bug from those apps, I can confirm this also, might explain the insanely high battery drain ...
mine's ok, check what apps have the highest batery usage
(and i get about 1-2 days of standby with 4-5h sot)
I confirm this as well, I think Chrome is the problem.

I don't know if some app is stuck, but don't appear that is it. I already deactivate most of second plane activities from apps and the bug remains.

Firefox is working fine and that's what I recommend to anyone anyway Add "ublock origin" and "https everywhere" as addons and you're done.

I use the Samsung Internet, I think that is more fluid than Chrome, but Chrome is consuming a lot of memory even I no use.

This happens to me as well.
However I've noticed that this only happens if I've got the SIM inserted: if I remove the Sim and reboot everything is normal.
EDIT: after removing and re-inserting the sim a couple of time and disabling the sim pin request everything is fine

I never use the SIM pin request! I noted that Spotify, sometimes when it's open in the screen, the screen don't go off, even it's seted for 30 seconds only, the display remains on until I block the phone.
I tried stop the Chrome, even that I no use it and nothing change. The only thing that change is when I simple reboot the phone.

Well, I was wrong anyway: the cpu is stuck at 100% again.
I will probably root the device to see what's happening

I started sending all these bug reports through the Feedback app, let's see if it helps at least a little bit.

I've tried today, but nothing changed. Now I have rooted the phone and I can see in Kernel Adiutor that sometimes the frequency goes up to the maximum without any load (I have to bring it back manually), that's really strange..

Thanks for the research, I don't know anything about root! I think this is a begin off something or someway solution. A future update could correct this, right?!

Report it with the feedback app and put pressure on xiaomi. Also write to their support. Make it heard at xiaomi, nothing else will help.

Can someone try reflash the stock rom through fastboot?
Any update guys?
Hey,
So I've noticed the phone won't get into deep sleep mode after calls. I can't restart my phone every time I make one. Any ideas?

This is a known issue with the Exynos models that's apparently triggered by an issue with the proximity sensor after a VOIP call. I'm surprised Samsung hasn't fixed it by now. Yep, a reboot is the only fix I've seen.

No problems here. Voip and standard calls, phone gets into deep sleep a few minutes after screen off.

It should have been fixed by now anyway. This was discussed over on Samsung but I'm almost sure it was a couple of updates ago.

I have my phone updated to the latest version and tried all the troubleshooting mentioned on the web including resetting and clearing cache.
I have figured that, in my case, my phone S10e does not go to deep sleep when the Bluetooth is turned on which is how I use my phone on regular basis as I got Bluetooth devices connected to it. When the Bluetooth is turned off it goes to deep sleep as usual.
Currently I have removed all the Bluetooth devices and testing my phone if it goes to deep sleep with Bluetooth ON but no devices connected to it.
EDIT: Just keeping the Bluetooth on inhibits the phone from going into deep sleep. I confirmed this after unpairing all the devices and removing apps related to them.
