The frequency stay always in the maximum, with the CPU-Z or AIDA64, the visualisation is the same in both.
Anyone know what's happening? This occur even when the phone is not in use.

-- UPDATE --
Apparently, devices with the Goodix fingerprint sensor, when activating the use of the same to unlock the screen, has the processor locked at high frequency.

Maybe some stuck app
unless it's a software bug from those apps, I can confirm this also, might explain the insanely high battery drain ...
mine's ok, check what apps have the highest batery usage
(and i get about 1-2 days of standby with 4-5h sot)
I confirm this as well, I think Chrome is the problem.

I don't know if some app is stuck, but don't appear that is it. I already deactivate most of second plane activities from apps and the bug remains.

Firefox is working fine and that's what I recommend to anyone anyway Add "ublock origin" and "https everywhere" as addons and you're done.

I use the Samsung Internet, I think that is more fluid than Chrome, but Chrome is consuming a lot of memory even I no use.

This happens to me as well.
However I've noticed that this only happens if I've got the SIM inserted: if I remove the Sim and reboot everything is normal.
EDIT: after removing and re-inserting the sim a couple of time and disabling the sim pin request everything is fine

I never use the SIM pin request! I noted that Spotify, sometimes when it's open in the screen, the screen don't go off, even it's seted for 30 seconds only, the display remains on until I block the phone.
I tried stop the Chrome, even that I no use it and nothing change. The only thing that change is when I simple reboot the phone.

Well, I was wrong anyway: the cpu is stuck at 100% again.
I will probably root the device to see what's happening

I've tried today, but nothing changed. Now I have rooted the phone and I can see in Kernel Adiutor that sometimes the frequency goes up to the maximum without any load (I have to bring it back manually), that's really strange..

Thanks for the research, I don't know anything about root! I think this is a begin off something or someway solution. A future update could correct this, right?!

Report it with the feedback app and put pressure on xiaomi. Also write to their support. Make it heard at xiaomi, nothing else will help.

Hello guys, I think I need a little help.
I bought my One a week ago, it's a great phone, but I've noticed that it won't stay in vibrate mode, it always goes back to silent after a while and that's annoying me because I don't notice if a get a message or a call if it's in my pocket.
I've unchecked the vibration option in the battery saving settings, and it keeps going back to silent. Anyone has this problem? Any solution?
I'm running stock 4.2.2

do you have the issue too when you're not using battery saver? a factory reset helps sometimes after a firmware update..
Yeah, it happens even when battery saver is disabled. If I don't find a solution I might try the factory reset and see if it helps.

Hey all,
I have a strange BUG with my Nexus 6. When someone calls me, in 70% of the times his/hers contact photo does not appear! only the default one (like the contact doesn't have a photo) Some times this happens even while I'm calling someone....
I'm on Stock Rooted 5.0.1 rom without any modifications.... (this was happening even before I rooted it)
Ideas?
I'm having this same issue. Thought it was just me since i haven't seen anyone complain about it.
+1
Also i feel like i am back to a crappy Samsung, with lag of 1 second or so when i open the Google Dialer;some ppl say its because of HD photos of favorites contacts.Wish also a solution for this.

I have even factory reset the phone two times and still the same thing! Some times it shows, some times it doesn't.... Very annoying!
I can't access smart lock menu. I write the password needed to enter and the page is white. Anyone else having this issue?
Same here.
Same here. Someone knows the solution?
Disable trust agent (smart lock), reboot, enable it again
It happened before, but what is weird is that is fixed in the 2nd october update (9.6.15) at least for me and a bunch of people that have confirmed

"Disable trust agent (smart lock), reboot, enable it again"
Thanks. That works in apdate 9.6.15.
The solution above is valid, but everytime you need to restart the phone you'll have to disable it and turn it on again when the phone is on. Otherwise it's gonna bug everytime you restart the device. This happens to me.

Hey,
So I've noticed the phone won't get into deep sleep mode after calls. I can't restart my phone every time I make one. Any ideas?

This is a known issue with the Exynos models that's apparently triggered by an issue with the proximity sensor after a VOIP call. I'm surprised Samsung hasn't fixed it by now. Yep, a reboot is the only fix I've seen.

No problems here. Voip and standard calls, phone gets into deep sleep a few minutes after screen off.

It should have been fixed by now anyway. This was discussed over on Samsung but I'm almost sure it was a couple of updates ago.

I have my phone updated to the latest version and tried all the troubleshooting mentioned on the web including resetting and clearing cache.
I have figured that, in my case, my phone S10e does not go to deep sleep when the Bluetooth is turned on which is how I use my phone on regular basis as I got Bluetooth devices connected to it. When the Bluetooth is turned off it goes to deep sleep as usual.
Currently I have removed all the Bluetooth devices and testing my phone if it goes to deep sleep with Bluetooth ON but no devices connected to it.
EDIT: Just keeping the Bluetooth on inhibits the phone from going into deep sleep. I confirmed this after unpairing all the devices and removing apps related to them.
My mi 9 lite is blocking alone. when i'm using my apps, the phone blocks alone and i lost the signal and need to wait 1-2 min to use again. it's frequently. Someone knows how to resolve this problem? i'm using miui 11 and my android version is 9

Hi!
What do you mean? Is the screen locking itself on its own? You then have to unlock the screen?
Cheers !

WoW that s*cks...
So you are using the original ROM, not a custom one is that it?
Do you have a custom recovery ?
Is your phone rooted ?

Well... at that point i don't know what to say...
You should try uninstalling the updates (if you can) and update the phone again.
Then once you've done that, uninstall and reinstall the apps.
Then try to go in the settings and modify the delay before the screen goes off (even if in the end you choose the same timing, just try to change it a couple of times see if it makes any difference)
Best of luck !
Cheers !
exactly the same issue here with mi 9 lite
I've had similar problems. Sometimes, when I try to hear WhatsApp voice notes, systemui crashes, and I have to unlock the phone with my passcode. Then it says something like find device closed unexpectedly. It happens 3 or 4 times in a row until I gave up and stop trying to hear voice notes. Then I can try again and works just fine.
Try to reinstall your firmware using the fastboot method, you can get the tools from the MIUI forum and the file for your device. If that still doesn't solve your issue you might need to RMA your device as it could be an issue with the hardware.
I had the same problem, lost signal and go in lockscreen (android protection for no SIM) then i unlock the phone and all return ti work....Yesterday i install android 10 MIUI 11 the pasto update...and now all works create ? Hope the same for you
