At this time, you can pick up one of these from Gamestop:
http://www.gamestop.com/android/accessories/tablet-wireless-bluetooth-controller/97838
But I saw these that will be out in about a month:
http://www.gamestop.com/android/accessories/nyko-play-pad-controller-black/104100
http://www.gamestop.com/android/accessories/nyko-playpad-pro-tablet-controller/104098
Happy hunting.
Thanks, looks great! Just need to get GameStop Sweden to stock it!
I've tried lots of off brand bt controllers and they simply feel cheap on don't respond well. I eventually broke down and did the PS3 method and been happy ever since.
The sixaxis app used with the PS3 controllers also let you dedicate buttons to screen areas so it works with more non controller games. Food for thought.

Hey guys, any idea if this will work? Saw some otg with power from ebay. Read in nexus 7 forum that they were able to do it, was hoping it will also work with our device, but i think they used a custom kernel to be able to work, does stock samsung kernel supports this?
Im planning to makr my GCam a mini pc

Sad to say it didnt work for me, i think we need to compile the kernel to enable it and make our own cable by adding 40.2k ohm resistors on ID pin

It depends on what you use it for. The HTC app has the built-in tv guide but the app the OP mentions has other options and is a real universal remote.
It works the same way as the HTC app does. You give in what type of device you want to control (beamer, tv, home cinema, lights, ...), the brand, and if possible a model number. The app then tries some codes untill one works. I actually like this very much. I only use the HTC app for the remote functionality and not for the tv-guide so having this expanded to a lot more devices is interesting to me.
fully worked on samsung n8000

I'm running CM 10.1 and was wondering if it's possible to get OTG working with it.
I was on the verge of flashing a specific kernel on my Nexus 4 for the same reason before I sold it, and was wondering if there's anything similar for the Desire C

Yes, I can't find kernel with it built in. Oh well.
A usb cable?.. might be useful for org or is that the strong end of the stick?

Ah I understand I'm not sure but you'd obviously need an adapter

Yes, I've got a couple of different adaptors, as well as an external USB microphone I'd like to use, it's just that there seems to be no kernel with the correct drivers built in.
Maybe I'll learn how to build kernels. Maybe not
Have you thried?

Nah, not even close. I had a look at a few tutorials, and the work the guys did using Franco kernel on the Nexus 4, but it's well out of my league,.
I also bought the cable, the female USB, just to find out that this phone doesn't support USB OTG. Please guys if anyone could find a solution that would be great! I need to be able to connect USB sticks directly to my phone!
So I am on a custom rom (Stock w/Goodies), but it is a sense ROM, and as far as I know, has a stockish kernel. I, being the hard headed person I am, downloaded the sixaxis compatibility checker app, and paired my PS3 controller. It worked. So I bought the sixaxis app, fired up dead trigger, and I am able to play with the controller. I thought this was impossible on the One, and most HTC devices, due to their bluetooth stack.

Oh ****, now I'm going to flash a 4.3 Rom and kick ass in Modern Combat 4. Got tired of them jerks beating me badly because I had to use the lame touch screen controls!

You're welcome. Lol. I figured there had to be some other people here that would be pleased to know.
QUICK! Before this thread dies! Is there any way to connect the DS3 to the One with no root?! How about Bluetooth?
If so, how do I go about doing this?

I used the sixaxis app from the market and did the initial paring using the PC utility as I don't have an OTG cable. That worked for me.

I used an OTG cable with the sixaxis app and everything worked including bluetooth. Dont know if it makes a difference but I used the original controller without rumble.

I've been using a DS3, so it shouldn't matter what one you use.
I can pair using sixaxis but it's nowhere near as good as the Asus transformer with dock you can just plug and play lol
