T-Mobile Wi-Fi calling? - Motorola Atrix HD

Is there a way to get this app to work on this phone? I found and downloaded the apk but I get a fc every time (I've run fix permissions). Is it just not compatible with the AHD?

Even if it installs, it's most likely not gonna work as there are a lot of libs and framework files that are needed for it to function properly. There were attempts to get it to work on cm roms but not much success.

Have you tried searching? There are quite a few versions out there. Just need to find the version that might work.

See if you get better signal if you switch to GSM only. I do that when I'm at home since I can use WiFi for internet.

I can confirm NS4G working with this version. Market version does not work. I'm on CM7.1 nightly 39 with netarchys 1.3.5 cfn. However, I HAD to lower it to 1300 MHz. 1400 MHz will freeze video after 5 sec. Just like gtalk video.

Update the app...go into settings, it shows it's only for the back facing camera. Tango is the only app that utilizes Revo's FFC right now. That is until it gets 2.3 and I believe Google standardized the FFC API, thus making it easier for devs to program for it.

Yeah your right my bad. O well I wouldn't use Skype anyways it will absolutely decimate your battery since its always running in case you get a call. After uninstalling I literally get 4 extra hours of battery life and that's without even using Skype once(just letting it run in the background. I can only imagine how bad it would kill the battery if I actually made calls with it

Atrix HD CM10 (RAZR M Port)

First off I'd like to thank dhacker29 for his amazing work on CM10 for the RAZR M and mattlgroff for his updater script and helping me get this off the ground.
This is not intended for daily use, but for testing purposes. So far, calling, data and WiFi works. Texting isn't working and flashing gapps will cause a repeated crash on com.android.phone, so backup your apks before installing if you plan on actually using this other than testing.
I will not be held responsible for any damage this may do to your phone.
What works:
Calling
Data
Wifi
What doesn't work:
Camera
Play Store (repeated crash on com.android.phone related to the carrier problem)
Texting (carrier problem. Working on a fix.)
USB file transfer
Instructions for acquiring data:
enable roaming, switch the radio to GSM auto (PRL) or WCDMA.
Test 9 released. Should be more stable.
Download Link
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/yaylpjqxb0pu8yu/kFdsWUsJUy?m
As I can't really test this on a long term basis (life is quite the hassle), I'd appreciate any help I can get. Mainly posting bug reports and sending me logcats.

I've tried exchanging libs but that led to the ROM not booting.
I didn't have time to really sift through the build.prop but as far as I know, both the camera and usb should work if you manage to get the libs working.

Okay guys . After a day of messing around with this Google Edition I finally got fully working data . I was wondering if anyone could tell me the direction to get the roaming indicator off . I'm up loading it to dropbox right not and its taking forever . So if you have suggestions for a different file sharing please let me know.
Did you port this from Verizon's port or the International?

I guess we'll know later
I would love to use the Google version if everything checked out ok. I am not one to tinker with it. But the idea of no bloatware has me almost there... So if anyone figures out how to get it work with no issues that would be great. Where I live we only get 3g so anything above that wont matter to me. Good work btw to you guys who figure this stuff out. Many Thanks :good:

I downloaded an app called "Lte on off" on that app I change the preferred network mode to Cdma/lte auto prl. If at firat it doesn't work try switching it to another and then back to that. It takes a minuter to kick in. I also had mobile data disabled while I did it and then enabled it, don't know if that made a difference.

I always root for wifi tether and ad blockers. Usually run stock roms.
The "gain" quite simply is root access to be able to run certain apps that u cant run without root. Some people take it further than others. Your not gunna change the world if u root your phone
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
Root =
Wi-Fi tether
Remove bloat ware (Sprint apks)
Ad blockers
Create backup
Prevent ota (so you can do them as you choose)
Kicks / customization
The sky is the limit
Root = more options.
