Atrix HD CM10 (RAZR M Port) - Motorola Atrix HD

First off I'd like to thank dhacker29 for his amazing work on CM10 for the RAZR M and mattlgroff for his updater script and helping me get this off the ground.
This is not intended for daily use, but for testing purposes. So far, calling, data and WiFi works. Texting isn't working and flashing gapps will cause a repeated crash on com.android.phone, so backup your apks before installing if you plan on actually using this other than testing.
I will not be held responsible for any damage this may do to your phone.
What works:
Calling
Data
Wifi
What doesn't work:
Camera
Play Store (repeated crash on com.android.phone related to the carrier problem)
Texting (carrier problem. Working on a fix.)
USB file transfer
Instructions for acquiring data:
enable roaming, switch the radio to GSM auto (PRL) or WCDMA.
Test 9 released. Should be more stable.

As I can't really test this on a long term basis (life is quite the hassle), I'd appreciate any help I can get. Mainly posting bug reports and sending me logcats.

For the camera, what exactly did you port over as far as libs go? Did you edit any build.prop entries for the camera?

I've tried exchanging libs but that led to the ROM not booting.
I didn't have time to really sift through the build.prop but as far as I know, both the camera and usb should work if you manage to get the libs working.

Is the one with the link the most recent or are you still uploading? I also tried moving libs but it also didn't boot

Yea I'm either moving to the note 2 or nexus 4 here soon. The Atrix kind of dies fast. Still runs awesome and works awesome just no real dev. The battery life is untouchable after the mod though. I will forever miss not having to charge my phone but once every two days.

Atrix 2 has received JB 4.1.2 update before Droid Razr XT912 received it. It's only for China version of Atrix 2. It's funny that they abandoned it on AT&T version.
I believe we will receive JB 4.2.2 after Droid Razr HD.
It would be awesome! But it seems like a fake

Good, with any luck it'll work for us without any more work than build.prop mods and removing NFC.apk.
Even better is when it finally is released Moto will also release the 4.2.2 kernel source which SHOULD be a 3.4 kernel.
As far as 4.2.2 is concerned, all I really care about is Moto's kernel source and if that'll help out Epinter and the rest gang to get us pure AOSP....not even for AOSPA. I'd just like to run the actual Android OS w\o any carrier bs or it being CM or whatever -- I never have :crying:.
I gotta find some triple a's, my keyboard is about to die and my wired board had a coffee incident.

Even if it installs, it's most likely not gonna work as there are a lot of libs and framework files that are needed for it to function properly. There were attempts to get it to work on cm roms but not much success.

WIFI Calling on Atrix HD?

Does anyone have T-Mobiles Wifi calling feature on their Atrix HD? I someone got it on their Samsung Infuse which is an At&T phone. I'm switching to T-mobile so i want to be able to use wifi calling.
I've asked this question before and didn't get any feedback.
I would definitely love to have it if someone has it working, but I think the answer is no

I would think the best route would be to port from the T-Mobile s3 since it has the same chipset, but I don't know nearly enough to make it happen...

The thing about that is that s3 is on T-Mobile and at&t so you would have to flash the T-Mobile s3 stock rom in order to get wifi calling. There's no atrix HD type phone on T-Mobile.

Hm yeah. I just meant that if somebody was going to try and port it, the s3 is probably the closest configuration T-Mobile device to ours, considering both have MSM8960 chipsets, dual core 1.5ghz krait, and Adreno 225 graphics. If someone wanted to port the Wi-Fi calling app alone to the AHD, the T-Mobile GS3 would probably be the best place to start (again, I'm no expert)

Your right. Sorry. They would basically have to strip down the firmware and implement it as a zip. I really hope someone figures it out. Apparently right now there's a WiFi calling enabling method for non T-Mobile phones but its only for gingerbread and under.

Razr FTW? (for the wife)

Guys, my wife is tired of her att Atrix 4G, att really has a sucky lineup for Android phones right now.
Someone suggested a Razr I. Since its not supported by a US carrier how does it get its updates?
Is it a decent phone, unlocked of course, or Have you moved on to something else? Help me find a new phone for the wife
Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 4
I'm on AT&T, and my razr I runs beautifully! Battery is by far one of the outstanding features of the device, I can easily use it for two days straight. I would only get the phone though if you're willing to root. Stock is experience is great don't get me wrong, but the roms offered on this forum are just so much better. As for updates, I haven't bothered to check in months. I'm not expecting the phone to get upgraded any further than 4.1.2, so the only updates I check now are on development section of the forum. In my opinion the only things we would really miss out on are lock screen widgets and trim support, but besides that I haven't felt that the phone needs updating.

I can't touch my wife's phone, lol. That said I'll probably unlock the bootloader and flash the stock boot logo back so she won't freak out, but keep it stock and rooted (for TiBu).
4.1.2 is cool. Her Atrix is still on GB. So picking up one of these babies from eBay won't be a bad thing to do huh? Very cool!

Tested this LS 3.4 build and it boots fine, but has neither wifi nor cell service. Looks like it is a GSM build and no CDMA changes can be made in *#*#4636#*#*. Interestingly, when booting back to stock, the radio was set to GSM and I had to change it back to cdma.
The CM11 wifi fix does not work.

So did you have gsm service available or did it just break cell service entirely? I'm already using my d3 with the gsm radio for at&t anyways so I don't have cdma service availability already so that wouldn't bother me if it still allowed u.s. gsm service. Or maybe I could just reflash the radio img I'm using now with that rom anyways.
