Hi,
Can I install a HTC Magic 32A ROM on a HTC Legend or do I need the HTC Desire ROM ?
How do I know which version of ROM to install on which phone ?
HTC Legend runs on Legend ROM, no matter how strange that sounds
Yes and HTC desire rom works on desire, HTC magic on HTC magic and so on....

DAAA,
But I can install a G1 ROM on a MyTouch 3G 1.2 (w/3.5mm jack)(Magic)
And I can install a Nexus One ROM on an IPhone...
So my Q still stands, Can I install a HTC Magic 32A ROM on a HTC Legend ?
Try it and you'll see it for yourself.
in theory you can't..but in practice I don't think anyone tried because of the risk of bricking your phone... so do what you think is best!

Don´t try this or you will kill your phone.
HTC Magic 32b and my touch 3g are the same device.
HTC Magic 32a and Legend and Desire aren´t the same device.

I can't try it, I don't have a HTC Legend.
My friend want's to buy a HTC Legend, but on the condition that I can install on it a Hebrew ROM, but the only Hebrew ROM that I found is Magic and Desire...
Then he should get a Desire.

You want me to flash a ROM designed for a *different* phone onto my precious Legend, and run the risk of bricking it? I don't think so. Sorry
So until I get a Legend I can't know...
Thanks anyway...
Why ask when you wont accept answer.
Of course you can flash a other ROM but phone will never boot.
Pretty useless.

Hello, in that case please go to this link: , go to Section V - there are 7 ROM cooks for the HTL22 and I have tested 5 of them. They are all working but so far the one that has given me the most stability and battery life is number 7- Rom Soku4.3 Android 4.3 Sense 5.5. :good:
Please be advice that Flashing these ROMs may brick your phone if not done properly. Do it on your responsibility.
Regards,

Yes. You can flash any ROM now - regardless of region. Doesn't matter if it's CM11, GPE, SENSE, AOKP etc.
The CID number determines what region the phone was bought in, and will only allow other ROMs or OTAs from that region to be flashed to the phone. Now that you've made your phone super cid it means you've no limits to what ROMs you can flash.
This is in layman's terms though, since I'm no developer. Hope I've made some kind of sense.

Oh yeah that's very easy. I dint think you would of needed super cid but it's good to have.
Just flash a recovery from the boot loader and copy the GPe rom to your phone and flash!
