Do you mean you just want to flash a Rom? Or a full conversion to GPe?

Yes. You can flash any ROM now - regardless of region. Doesn't matter if it's CM11, GPE, SENSE, AOKP etc.
The CID number determines what region the phone was bought in, and will only allow other ROMs or OTAs from that region to be flashed to the phone. Now that you've made your phone super cid it means you've no limits to what ROMs you can flash.
This is in layman's terms though, since I'm no developer. Hope I've made some kind of sense.

Oh yeah that's very easy. I dint think you would of needed super cid but it's good to have.
Just flash a recovery from the boot loader and copy the GPe rom to your phone and flash!

What is this? The following is another new updated HTC RUU for the Holiday. This will be valuable if you're trying to restore your device from a soft-brick. I know nothing about this update other than the fact that it's Ice Cream Sandwich.

It's up to you. If you cannot use stock, then wait for the folks to split it open and make a base out of it for a custom ROM.
Looks like Bell Mobility's (BM) HTC Raider RUU, same version number as my stock Bell HTC Raider.
At any case, thank you so much for sharing, will save me some time if I want to restore to stock.

Correct, my HTC Raider is from ROGERS however I'm running the BELL RUU being S OFF. There is a well written account on here for how to gain S off, its worth it!
Confirm this is Bell,
Using it as a new base for Dark Raider.
Thanks Kenn
Is there heavy Bell branding on this rom?

Hi guys,
I just ordered an HTC One GPE today, and plan to unlock it and root it when I get it. Is this the correct forum for the GPE? I'm sort of confused on where to go for ROMs, recoveries, and the like. I know it's based off the AT&T HTC One, since it has that model's radios, but obviously, it's not the HTC One with Sense. Am I in the correct area?
Thanks!
Yes I think so.

Thanks. Do you know if TWRP recovery is for the m7 or m7att? Not sure if there's a difference or not.

I don't think that there is a difference. Here is the TWRP you want:

Thank you! What kind of ROMs can you flash on the GPE? Does it not matter either?

Too late it just shipped literally an hour ago... Haha. And I'm already with AT&T on a family plan, or else I would!

Apologies for posting again, but I have one more question: when I get the GPE One out of the box, will it have the same bootloader as Nexus devices? So I won't have to S-OFF or change the CID?

I was wondering if this was the HTC one international section of xda? And I also have the att version of the HTC one and was wondering if I could flash the international Roms/recoveries, with 0 problems. If so please tell me without being mean. I'm coming from an s4 and I'm just a little confused. Because I never had to flash roms from other carriers than att. Thanks for any help.

Yeah, you can use the twrp of the One (i advice the 2.6.3.3) and some roms are compatible, for example the ViperOne is compatible is the best rom (for me) on xda

I had twrp on my S4 2.6.3.0 I believe, I've used it for a while and I enjoy it. Thank you guys for the help. And I agree viper is a great Rom I ran it on my one x when I had it. Like I said thanks guys! I'm not new to rooting I'm just new to this whole att phone using foreign phone firmware! I just thought I'd ask before jumping right in! Thanks again

Hi there,
I've only just purchased my htc one and am quite new to flashing roms etc so sorry if this is a really obvious question. I've unlocked the boot loader and rooted and installed android 4.4 kitkat sense 5.5 stock rom (currently the first rom on htconeroot)
I've been doing some googling as the power button really annoys me and i've seen that it may be possible to use the htc logo (or the volume rocker) to wake my phone. Is this possible using the rom I have? If so, how would I go about doing it?
Thanks!

Hello,
I would like to flash Android Revolution HD 60.0 and it is based on the M8's 1.54.401.5 firmware, is it safe to grab the 1.54.401.5 firmware and flash it on my M7 so it matches with the ROM?
Thanks in advance
That's an HTC M8 software that has been ported to the One... You can't flash it... You need to wait for the HTC M7 base

flashing firmware from a different device would be a very bad thing to do.
But please experiment for us!

Alright so I did it anyway and bricked my phone
Just kidding, thanks for the replies, carrying on with the firmware I have right now.
