hello,
i am using the PAC-man ROM MIlestone 1 ROM and everything seems to be working except 2 things.
1. it comes up "no service" i know this is a lie because i live next to a radio mast, and it worked fine on CM10.1
2. the navigation bar appears at the bottom, but i dont need it because the 4X has capacitive buttons.
can anyone help me on this?
For the bottom bar - settings, Hybrid properties, press on paranoid settings at the top and go interface. Set nav bar to 0

I'm too using this ROM and have no problems maybe fix permission in cwm.
To the best without lost data go to cwm wipe cache wipe dalvik cache flash just the PAC ROM again and wipe both cache again.
Maybe you use a older nightly version ?

Try to flash the framework.zip together~ see if it solve the problem~
Doesn't work for me. Tried with and without flashing framework.zip. also tried clearing davlik cache. The boot takes unusually long and the status bar is gone. Copying back the original files

Won't work for me, flashed "with music"... without flashing framework I got a bootloop, with framework it booted but the statusbar was missing.
Wiped Dalvic Cache as suggested, some other step I might have missed? Or asked another way, can anyone confirm this working?

Works for me on the rom LG_O2X_GB_STOCK_MOD_v14_EX34_Topogigi.zip
The only problem I ave, is the network data connection icon is visible even when the wifi is connected

is it possible to get a statusbar with the stock v20e GB, signal, data and wifi icons (the greens ones) but with the circel battery and the transparant pulldown bit ? if so, could some one make this ?

I would recommend you flash what you need from this, and then take customization further via the UOT kitchen.
I have install latest ROM of jellybean CM10 4.1.2 release date 04-Jan-2013 on My Galaxy Ace GT-5830.
After flashing new ROM below issues i am facing
1) Unable to receive calls
2) USB debugging not working
3) Setting icon on top of screen not working
4) FM radio n/a in CM10
5) Camera nor working properly..(Flickring on view)
can anyone help

I have already Wipe Data /factory reset , wipe cache partition, wipe delvik cache, wipe battery stats and again reflash ROM.. but same issues..
Earlier i was using cm10 4.1.1 05-12-2012 release and it was working fine with few bugs.
Flash some other stable builds..

I'm using the same ROM. CM10 by lag loose. Everything's working fine. Just do all the wipes, data/cache/dalvic cache/battery stats & format cache/data /system/SD ext & flash the ROM. Everything except the reported bugs must work.

I have tried everything but still this release of rom not working for me..
somtimes it gives symlink error while flashing rom
sometimes its flashing successfully, but system applications start crashing after booting
sometimes it stucks in booting logo
sometimes its flashing sucessfully, but nothing is working.. incoming calls disconnets after 1 ring, application crashing very frequently, phone reboot while turning wifi, gps, bluetooth on.
Pls anybody help... i tried all thing, but no sucess.. earliar version of rom also not working properly, apps crashing and hanging very frequently...

I'm using the beta 6 of CM10.1 on my S5830.
Sometimes my Ace has a reboot when I enable wireless. It even happens that it sometimes does not find a network, even though one is active. How can I fix this?
Cant confirm that,everything works perfectly...
Try fresh install..
Wipe data/cache
Wipe dalvik cache
Format system,format data
And then install rom..
But first backup apps with cwm..

How and what recovery did you use to flash the rom?
I used epinters cwm with the flash tool, mounted sys, flashed rom and gapps whipped caches and factory reset....it was working fine last night but today has been acting up....

If needed, just update to the new CWM,
Get the latest nightly,
Then flash like normal;
Factory Reset, Format /System, Flash ROM+gapps+whateverelseyouflash, Wipe Cache & Dalvik, Reboot.
If you have problems with PA Preferences after booting into the ROM, flash the Paranoid-Fix in the OP's post.
That should (hopefully) solve your problems.
Hi all, i have a very booring bug, when i install this rom, and i don't flash other kernel everything is fine.
But when i install a different kernel i cant go to system settings-> security cause i get FC of app.
Why this?
EDIT2: and if i flash thse gapps (gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip) i get FC of the keyboard and i can't use status bar settings.
Did you wipe cache and dalvik before flashing the kernel ?

Do you mount system before flashing?
No but it doesn't matter right?
Because the flashing process do it automatically, otherwise the ROM shouldn't work.
Try fixing permissions in recovery or ROM manager app
