Hi all, i have a very booring bug, when i install this rom, and i don't flash other kernel everything is fine.
But when i install a different kernel i cant go to system settings-> security cause i get FC of app.
Why this?
EDIT2: and if i flash thse gapps (gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip) i get FC of the keyboard and i can't use status bar settings.
Did you wipe cache and dalvik before flashing the kernel ?

Do you mount system before flashing?
No but it doesn't matter right?
Because the flashing process do it automatically, otherwise the ROM shouldn't work.
Try fixing permissions in recovery or ROM manager app

find which gapps that might be compatible to your ROM here, or since you using gingerdx try use this one, i have used the gdx before MiniCM9 but i never face this problem so i don't know which one is used for gdx, but just give it a try.. flash it via CWM..
Try this steps.. go to settings -> applications -> manage applications -> click on all tab -> scroll down, clear data in Google play.. hope this solution might work for you

I got the same problem with tantrum recovery. You should install the normal CWM and it will install fine.

You can do it by flashing with smart flash tool like you are rooting the phone for the first time or simply flashing an older cwm with rom manager.

Hey thanks buddy......
Just one question- can you suggest me which 4.0 ICS Rom is most stable for our OB now. Already installed CM10 before half an hour and its automatically reboots in Recovery 3 times..
Sent from my LG-P690 using xda premium
I never get that problem in CM10 only freezing problem. But before going to ICS try reinstalling it but wipe cache, factory reset, and wipe dalvik cache and reinstall it and just after installing don't reboot do a fix permission then reboot this can fix your rebooting problem.
If not you can try the Korean ICS.

Hi, I know this is probably a real noobie question, but I have only just recently flashed CM9 and used it for a few days. Now I have a few apps that I have been using a lot, but I would like to move to nightlys. Would I have to use VRWipe or something similar to wipe out the current build I have, or can I flash Nightlies right over my current build without wiping anything? What is the best way to go rom CM9, to CM9 Nightly?

You should however get into the habit of using a backup software. Titanium backup works real well.

The Rom doesn't have built in gapps. It's clearly posted by the Dev. You have to flash gapps after flashing the Rom.

Try clearing the data of Google Play app in settings > apps then re-boot.
If it didn't fix the problem, you may have to re-flash the Rom with full wipe + format /system.

If it's a 4.2.2 rom, make sure youre flashing the 4.2.2 gapps, flashing older ones would cause problems.
People should read on how to Flash Roms from where they get them...
This Rom tells you to flash gapps where the link is
I have on my phone the ICS bootlooad unlocked and partition that i made with the all in one toolkit.
I perform a full wipe and after install the rom, but for all the three time i install i have always that the phone is unusable.
All the process died and I can't use anythins.
My installation option is the kernel of 32M and all S3 layout.
I have to use double size partition?
Ok.. so what is the error you are getting? Which recovery version and did you create the system size yourself. Or the default one?

I have cwm 6.0.25 and use the default partition structure.
What happens is that touchwiz crash and also android.phone is always crash and the device is unusable.
I will try with the default kernel this evening.
