Hi,
Could anyone tell me if SONY is going to release JB 4.2 for the Xperia T? I am currently on Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and received some issues.
1) When having the Weather widget and Music player widget on my homepage I get some lag when scrolling etc...
2) When I am browsing the internet and I press home my applications that are on the homepage are still loading and then about 2 seconds later they go back to normal.
3) The battery life SUCKS on the 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, Unless its just the phone that has a poor battery? Which can not be possible seeing as the Xperia T has a bigger battery than the Iphone 4 and the Iphone 4 runs for a lot more time.
These are just some BASIC software issues, I really want SONY to send out a 4.2 Jelly bean update for the Xperia T or atleast find a way to downgrade the Jelly Bean 4.1.2 firmware back to ICS seeing as ICS had better battery and no lags!
SORT IT OUT SONY!!!!

I'm not sure if this thread is a poor excuse for a rant and/or upping the post-count, or you simply didn't notice this thread Good News! There Is A Possibility Of Directly Getting Android 4.3
I have no problems with my T. Still running 4.1.2. And the battery life is more than ok.
If we get 4.3 it will be awesome but we need to wait.
I think Xperia T/V will get 4.3 and skip 4.2
Don't show crap here. Sony can send out a new 4.1 fix. There's zero need for 4.2 to fix those issues. And Xperia T isn't getting 4.2. It's most probably jumping to 4.3.

Btw what is the average battery life? with Wi-fi and data connection on all the time?
what is android 4.2? is it good for our life?

Hey people,
I recently installed Google Now on my i9000, which is on ICS 4.0.4 and running Cyanogenmod. However, it turned out to be kind of laggy. It just didn't function very fluently, so I decided to remove it from my phone again after about a day of use. By not functioning fluently I'm talking GUI, cards would bounce into my screen instead of flying in :b.
So I'm wondering, is Google Now working (by that I mean no lag) fluently on your JB phones? Some of you have already installed Jelly Bean on their devices, and I'm assuming you guys and girls are using Google Now on it as well.
I'm thinking of going to Jelly Bean as well, mainly because of project butter and Google Now. However, if our poor i9000 isn't able to provide a lagless Google Now experience because of outdated hardware, I'll just wait a few more months until more stable JB ROMs are out. So, how's your experience with Google Now on JB, on the Galaxy S?

Are you finding any lag while using the phone?
And, anyone else?
Hi guys! I am running 4.2.1 now but I read few times that 4.1.2 gives better battery, less lag... Should I downgrade? Thanks
My experience with 4.2.1 has been very good. My battery is very good and the N7 is very fast. Unless you are experiencing the problems some have had you might want to stay on 4.2.1 to avoid the time and effort to downgrade and set everything back up. There will be more updates, so you will ultimately be updating again.
thanks.. how long are you able to play games ?
Howdy,
I tried a jelly bean rom yesterday. It was a horrible experience, it was laggy, slow, and almost unusable. I had to go back to an ICS Miui that I was happy with. I have a question as to if there is a way to figure out why it was so horrible. I tried CM 10 but no major change in what happens. Anyone have any suggestions for me? Id like to run somehting a bit newer as a couple of apps want me to go forward to run properly. Trash if its been discussed. Thanks
I9000 jelly bean is not perfect because of it's slow memory. For example i9001 has faster memory, and it's almost like official jb

i would disagree. my i9000 has that old, slow memory and it runs on jelly bean without any problems. yeah, jelly bean requires more ram, and most of the apps are more demanding, so when you multitask, it can be an issue. but again, it can be solved, with a bit of tweaking.
my phone is on slim bean 4.2 rc2 and semaphore 2.9.10s. i freeze all system apps which i don't use or need. it runs lagfree and without any problems, and i can even multitask with cca 4 apps without slowdowns.
Thanks. I just dont know why it was soo terrible, my friends phone which is with in 30 phones of mine according to the serial number, runs without a hitch. Mine was unusable. Ill just wait a while to see what becomes of things rom wise. Hoping to try a couple builds to see if it goes tits up again or not.
Maybe you didn't flash it correctly? Cause that's strange, I've got the old nand (or moviNAND) i9000 and all Jelly Bean ROMs run almost lagless. Of course there are some laggs when scrolling the menu for the first time or closing a big app, but everything else is just butter. Try doing all of those wipes and formats before flashing

Slow nand here and jelly bean, running buttery smooth. Maybe only a 2 or 3 seconds of lag when I close a game like dead trigger or something.
I think jelly bean could be as far as the gt-i9000 goes though, skeptical about KLP running nice on it. Lucky I got an N7
I only had the money to get an n7 because this phone is still good. And that's thx to the devs.

Try HellyBean Rom.... Perfect Rom for slow NAND devices.

I'm running 4.2.1 without a problem, and my I9000 had the slow nand.
Granted, I've got so little available ram I'm lucky to have three apps running at the same time, but whatever ^^

Bro, try to flash ROM 4.2.2 Xylon and Semaphore kernel 2.9.10.s, personally for me (of course in this moment) it is the best combination, faster than other and with very good baterry life. I flashed mostly all ROM, but Xylon is the best for me!
Hi I guys, I m new to smartphones, I oredered a 4X! I ve read and seen many issues but its still confusing what to do!
Some say that with JB the 4X is smoother and faster, and some advised to keep it running with ICS, because with JB the phone lags and it takes much more RAM.
I m using this smartphone for everyday, mostly browsing, youtube videos, some apps customizing and some games!
All I want is that it will be smoothest and fastest, without lags.
Battrey Issue is not a big problem for me.
And I want the best from its camera....
Suggestion please? Keep it ICS simple as that or update to JB?
Thanks guys
Use for a short of time ICS and then update to JB.If you dont like it rolla back to ICS.Noone can tell you if JB is BETTER from ICS.But i think that v20a is very good and and not so laggish like some users say.

But from what I ve read its quite a headache to downgrade it from JB to ICS then.
On the 4X what are the main updates/fixes/new looks with JB?

I agree with the brightness slider in the notification area, it's a vital tool for me.
Other than that, I find JB to have a lot better battery time (I don't suffer baseband wakelocks too much anymore)
Too bad 80 % of the fonts are ugy (Can you add more fonts without any problems, by the way?)
Hi all guys, I'm asking myself which version of android is better for gaming purposes. Is better 4.2.2 or 4.3 for our device?
I tried both i don't notice a change. I'm gonna try KitKat i will edit post
Does someone have problem while playing modern combat 4 online? I mean if someone have lags playing online. Especially when you are near an enemy. I hate this problem, we have a tegra 3 chip and we have these problems?! I can't believe.
Hi, i tried new unofficial cm11, and i must say that im really impressed.. on 4.0.3, 4.1.2, 4.2 and 4.3 nova 3 wasnt playable i tried almost everything to make it run smoother, with this cm11 it really runs smoother
I'm flashing kitkat atm, but from my experience, 4.2.2 is faster than 4.3 by far.4.3 got system services that use a lot of CPU (unnoticeable while not gaming, but gives lagspikes if you are gaming). Also some apps like NFSMW FCs in 4.3 so I'd go with 4.2.2.
Thank you very much! I'm going to try 4.2.2. I'll write here my impressions.
Which ROM 4.2.2 is better? I mean the more stable.

I find 4.2.2 more stable.I don't think we even have a RC on CM 10.2 (am I wrong?)
Also you get screen orientation bug in 4.3 and some apps FC more often.
Just go with 4.2.2, trust me and click thanks if I helped
every 4.2.2 is stable actually. But I personally liked mokee most. It has nice features at no performance cost. Cm is stable too.
