Kitkat is online!
Forcing the Launcher rotation and the quicktiles autorotate toggle will ONLY work on Launcher3!
(After the initial setup Android will ask you which one to choose, I left the slightly modified AOSP-Launcher3 in there for ppl that may not like the GoogleNow integrated Launcher. It's your choice.)
This time I was 'lazy', so credits for the gapps used goes to Paranoid-Android's Zero-Day Google apps

Have fun
Oh btw: mpdecision's touch boost is fixed (once again) and works marvelously:
Code:

384000
[email protected]:/ $ cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq

Sure. It doesn't wipe anything else than /system and /cache and flashes /boot obviously.
I noticed the bootsecure0 add on. Is that adding or removing security features? I'm not asking out of suspicion, I'm just curious if the new security features break more than conventional root.
Thank you for publishing ROM, I accidentally my sources.list on my notebook and couldn't compile last night

That's just plain old ro_secure=0 in the default.prop inside of the ramdisk. Nothing special.
But to answer in full: it removes security features.
Sweet thanks mate! Downloading and going to give a go.

I'm surprised Show-P is doing ROMs, I don't recall him straying from kernels before but I could be wrong about that.

Thanks show-p1984! What exactly was the issue with touchboost?
I also hear a lot of people complain about freezing issues while typing, force closes with gallery, "backup and restore" not working with other 4.3 roms. Any idea if these are present here?
Great work!
Might be a dumb question but is this already rooted? Or do we need to flash su1.51 zip

A wipe is required when first flashing this ROM, however, unless otherwise stated, no wipe is needed to upgrade between versions.

Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery through whatever method you choose (ROM Manager, Power + Volume Up, ADB etc...)
Back up your existing installation
Select Install Zip from SD Card
Find the JellyBelly-xxx.zip file you downloaded earlier

Android development is a hobby for me, the Android community has been good to me and I enjoy what I do, I don't do it for any personal gain or gratification so if you like this ROM and would like to show appreciation for the time and effort me and other people have put into it then I would very much appreciate it if you could donate to the 'childhood leukaemia' charity I support, you can donate via Paypal or by card/cheque, thanks for taking the time to read this and thanks for donating if you choose to .

Additional notes
PLEASE READ: I welcome bug reports or feature requests however when reporting a bug please state how exactly it happened and how to reproduce it so I can investigate it, you can email me bugs or feature requests to /dev/null
Please note if you have flashed any 3rd party kernels, I will not be able to offer support as I can not answer for problems caused by 3rd party changes, the kernel provided with JellyBelly is maintained by _thalamus who many of you know to be a respected developer, I respect and trust his work enough to incorporate it into my own. I would not include anything into any of my work if I thought it was detrimental. I want JellyBelly to be stable for both you and myself.

The main idea behind SuperNexus is to provide Vanilla Android experience, just like on Google's Nexus devices, to non-nexus devices. SuperNexus is entirely built from Google's AOSP Source. This ROM runs super smooth, just lacking in some if the extra features found in CM. Any idea if these might be added in future releases. Also is there any way to add additional quick setting tiles.

there is a reason these features are "lacking" as you say, this is suppose to be a nexus experience not a cyanogenmod experience

Play Store is missing the drop down menu. I can't see installed apps. All it has is the Search Magnifying Glass. I shouldn't have to search to figure out what is installed.

This is a pure aosp ROM. No modifications. That's what supernexus ROMs are about. The stock nexus phones don't have these features thus super nexus won't have these features

Is there a way to turn key backlight off?
I've tried with terminal emulator
echo 0 > /sys/class/backlight/panel/max_brightness
Before entering the commend I've set permissions with solid explorer on max_brightness to read and write, after entering commend I've set them back to read only.
It works but the problem was, I wasn't able to turn screen off anymore long press power works but not turning screen off.
Even after 15 seconds it was still on
tapatalked with my i9300

hi there, a big thank for this rom. it is smooth and clean.
but i found three things that can be improved.
1. it is good if there is a button to clean all recent apps at once.
2. add a file manager.
3. a problem in google now or maybe the browser (as shown in the pictures), some parts are in black.
sorry that i don't know how to post pictures here instead of links.
links to the picture.

You guys aren't understanding the concept of super nexus. Whatever the stock nexus ROMs have, super nexus will have. Whatever they don't have, super nexus won't have. This ROM is a CLEAN aosp ROM without any ui modification to provide us with a nexus phone feel
For any of your customizations you guys can use closed framework and install gravitybox and get whatever it is you're looking for
