Hi there,
I followed the guide to install cm7 on internal memory and everything seems to be working except charging the unit. It seems as my NC charger/cable only works when I have it shutdown. If I'm running the unit the NC cable stay green and won't charge. Anybody having the same problem??
I had the same problem. In my case, it was the data cable.
It used to charge in autonooter 1.x, but it stop charging when I updated to cm7 (green light on cable and status doesn't show charging) Unless I turn the nook off then the nook cable will show red. Is it the cable that's defective??
J
Nope, it is not the data cable. I have the same exact problem. So I restored back to Stock to see if it was the cable, and the cable works fine booted into stock. Obviously, its a CM7 thing.
Neeeed helppp.guys my device after charging cant power off.everytime finish charging n i power off it will boot again until i take off the battery n put in the battery again.n everytime after charging i plug off the cable bt my device still processing charging eventhougt not charging until pull down the battery power on. Pls anyone facing same issue n succes to solve the issue or any suggestion.any help will be so welcomed.regards.
I have a slightly different problem : when I power off my phone while charging, it reboots automatically. So if I have to switch off while charging,I have to unplug the charger, turn it off and plug it back in.
I'm not sure if it's only my problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
Same but a bit different

hey the same here but its again slightly different, even if i unplug it and power down , then plug the charger into the phone which is now off, it powers on again, BASICALLY "I CANT HAVE THE PHONE POWERED DOWN WHILE CHARGING ",PERIOD.
Using the newest build of verygreen's emmc 10.1 CM.
Every so often I'll plug the HD+ into the stock charger and cable, and the light will turn amber for about 2-3 minutes, then it will turn green. It will say "not charging" instead of "discharging", but it won't gain in charge and will very slowly discharge.
The only fix is a reboot.
Any other similar experiences? Kind of annoying, since I'll let it charge overnight only to come back to a nearly-dead tablet.
Thanks.
You don't by chance have Usbhost feature enabled?

Nope, it's set on normal (non host) USB.
Would USBHost cause that kind of problem?

Mine only charges when Usbhost is off.
I'm running a July rom of verygreen and for the first time since running it my hd+ would not charge
when plugged in.
I normally leave it sleeping with wifi off.
I plugged in charger and it would not say it was charging.
did a reboot and then it charged itself.
I am using the latest version of verygreen's cm 10.1 before it went official and have no problems charging with us host off.
Happened to me once. Hard rebooted and the issue never appeared again
If I let my HTC one run completely out of battery so it turns off and plug it back in it will reboot but once it reboots It won't charge and displays 0%. If I remove the charger the phone turns off because the battery is not charging . The way I get round the problem is booting into twrp recovery and letting the phone charge there for a few minutes then rebooting the phone without the the charger connected. Then once the phone turns on I reconnect the charger and the phone charges fine.
I have change from cyanogenmod to viper and calibrated the battery but the problem still occurs. I have also tryed a diffrent charger.

Try the Stock recovery, if it still won't charge it's probably either your cable or the USB port on the phone.
If you found my posts helpful, no need to say thanks. There's a button for that
Good evening
I have a small problem. After flashing CM12.1 I can't charge the device over USB when turned off. The charging screen appears and dissapears after some seconds. And it does that as a loop because it always vibrates before the new screen appears. However using the wall adapter the devices charges without problems. I've used the CM12.1 nightly which was flashed with TWRP including gapps.
Does anyone of you know a solution?
I've still found no workaround or solution for this issue..
