Total Noob here
Will either Bravia engine 3, or Xloud work on Hashcode's Cyanogen Rom? If so, does anyone have updated links to the files?
I've been searching all through the HD 7 forums, but nothing speaks directly to this question. I know KFFA has these as installation options, but I was told that they would be wiped after flashing CM 10.1 and that I would have to flash them manually.

Hi everybody, here's the question.
I'm on cm7, latest nightly, and I'm using psn 's modded firekernel. I tried flashing djsky2011's beats audio, mounting /system as required, and it was successful... excepted that it broke the rear speaker.
Audio via Bluetooth and speaker was good, and even phone calls could be redirected to rear speaker without problems, but any attempt to play music (either from videos and songs) resulted in a loud noise and nothing else. I had to restore a backup..
Did anyone have the same problem?

So is there anybody who has an idea of why only the rear speaker sound output is broken?

Does someone at least know what files in the beats audio mod refer to back speaker? I could try removing them and flash it again...
Thanks for your help.

well obviously nowone can help you. have checked the respective threads about beats for CM7? is there alredy such a problem reported (+solution)?
if not: ask them. only thing i can tell you is that it works very well for me.
AND: did you follow the installation instructions?

Checked them and found nothing about it, also they are rather old. I followed the installation instructions correctly, in fact you only need to mount /system and flash the file.
I'll try asking in the thread then, I thought asking here in q&a was meant to be more appropriate.
Thank you anyway for your answer.
PS: Since for you is working fine, what rom are you on?

im on "stock" CM7.2 (the stable version. NO nightly or whatever. original kernel. and no custom CM7 like your apocalypse)
did you uninstall DSP manager and installed audioFX widget?

Hello, I have exactly the same problem as you have. My phone is an alcatel ot 990. And it is running a beta unofficial rom...
I think the problem is that beats audio has never been designed to work with phones that have more then two speakers, although i am going to check the config files.
You should listen poweramp, it's better than Brats audio.
Sr for my bad english.

New Xperia T owner here (coming from an Xperia Arc S). Just got my new phone today and have been playing around with it. I had CM 10.1 installed on my Arc S and it was pretty unstable (rebooting all the time and whatnot). I want to install CM 10.1 on my Xperia T and I'm fairly confident it will be much more stable and usable due to the newer nature of the device. But I have a few questions:
1) How is the camera quality in CM 10.1 for the Xperia T? For the Arc it was downgraded due to a lack of JB camera libs, but I was hoping Sony had released JB camera libs for the Xperia T, considering how much newer it is.
2) How usable/stable is CM 10.1, in your experience? Any reboots, performance problems, other bugs, lack of functionality compared to stock ROM?
Mostly I'm wondering, will I lose any major features/functionality by switching to CM 10.1 from stock? Thanks in advance!
Here's some more general questions about the Xperia T:
1) If I flash a .zip file for a ROM, will that automatically flash the included kernel as well?
2) Does unlocking my bootloader wipe anything on the device?
Thanks.
1) Yes, kernel included in zip will be also flashed.
2) Yes, data partition (apps, user data etc.)

hi, sory for my poor English but i have question about synchronization photos in google+ any solution in cm to automated recovery photos to g+?
How do i know which roms are compatible with the C6606? I tried flashing something once and i ended up bricked.
Would i NEED to unlock the bootloader to be able to install any mods/roms to it?
Every Rom from the Official Android Development forums need unlocked bootloader.
Try first rooting it with doomlords kit, then fire up XZDualRecovery, and finally install Monxdified from the Android Development forum. Don't know if it works, but it should. But you should know this will remove the T-mobile features like wifi call and so on

Well i had it rooted and i had CWM installed. The only thing I wanted to flash was the sound mod, but after installing it was stuck in a bootloop.
So would I need XZDualRecovery to install the soundmod?
Which sound mod Did you wanted to install? You only need a Recovery for installing mods.
I recommend you to install Viper4Android Fx edition. It's the best Soundmod i can find.
Just google for Viper4Android look how to install. At driver install you have to choose Cortex A8 with Neon
Maybe your mod wasn't compatible with the C6606

I think you can get some of that apps from google play, but i dont know if you will be able to find everithing you want
Try BubbleUPnP app from play store for using DLNA.
For other stuff I am blank :what:
Hi I have Xperia T with official 4.3 ROM and now I want to unlock the bootloader and install cyanogenmod 12 but my questions are:-
1-What SONY Services will not work after unlocking bootloader and if there is any way to make it work again (like Mobile Bravia and Walkman etc.....)
2-If their is any way to save my DRM key before unlocking bootloader and how to restore it's functions
3-I used this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2712253 to increase my internal storage from 1.96GB to 5.0GB , will this possible with cyanogenmod and how to do it ?
4-How's the device under android 5.1 (performance and RAM management)
5-Can I make cyanogenmod look like the official SONY ROM on Xperia T
6-Which ROM is the best (the least to have bugs)
7-Thanks in advance
Hi, I've unlocked bootloader on my Xperia T using this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2447319
1. If you unlock bootloader and continue to use any JB 4.3 based custom rom then you will have all Sony stuff camera, Bravia engine, Walkman etc.. If you use any of Cyanogen based roms then you will lose Sony Camera, Bravia engine and Walkman (but you can install a ported one version which is working fine).
2. To backup your DRM keys use this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292598
3. I think that it should work, but I'm not 100% sure.
And if you gonna install CM Rom I suggest that you try this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe.../rom-cyanogenmod-12-neo-s-homebuilds-t2984988 I read that its much better than the official one.
Thank You

Thanks alot for the informations, But are you sure that Mobile Bravia Engine will work after Unlocking Bootloader because I heard that it won't work after that
You are right, Bravia Engine won't work, I just checked now, but there is an option to turn it on in settings but anyway it won't work. Sorry for my mistake.
