Hi XDA.
I have fully converted HTC One with stock 4.2.2 GE, but my bootloader is unlocked and i have CWRM recoery. I have windows 8.1 onmy desktop so can't relock and flash GE recovery. So I can't get OTA from android settings.
So I made a backup tried to flash this .zip through CWMR:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2390319
recovery rejected install - some error in prop file
When I rebooted my phone and plug to PC - it didn't connected. I tried to charge from wall - not working too. USB just does not work.
I tried to do factory reset, to restore backup, to flash GE 4.2, to flash RUU 4.3 - nothing
But it works with Cyanogenmod 10.1! Storage, charging - all works.
I flashed this RUU GE 4.3 now:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2358781
ROM is fine but usb does not work again.
Any advice how to fix this?
I have a *GE Converted* HTC One, got OTA 4.3 this morning. After the update it won't charge off the wall socket. But it charges when connected to computer.

On stock Rom when I plugged my phone into the computer the phone connects and then disconnects right away saying the MTP driver cannot be installed. Fastboot usb works
I then installed a different Rom and when connected using the same cable (the HTC one) the phone went into usb host mode. I tried to fix it using a fix posted on xda but no hope
I'm now on venom Rom and having the same issues. Why can I not get adb working? It worked randomly once while using rumrunner. After a reboot it stopped working
My bootloader is unlocked and I have CWM recovery. I've tried on stock recovery and TWRP as well
I've also tried several cables and installing/uninstalling htc sync
Anyone help?

Hi all. I attempted to update my One to KitKat (tried TripNDroid's 4.4 from Original Development first but couldn't get it to flash so switched to ssrij's CM 11 Beta).
Unfortunately, this has left me in a situation where I can't mount the USB storage of my device, nor can I find it in ADB. That wouldn't be so bad on its own because I can still charge the phone (even through a USB port on my PC), however without fastboot I'm unable to change recoveries and restore my CWM nandroid backup (switched to TWRP 2.6.3.3 to get the CM 11 Beta installed) [EDIT: Fastboot *does* recognize the device through USB see below]. Device Manager is not showing the phone either.
Any suggestions?
Steps taken so far:
-I've gone back to Android Revolution HD's GPE 4.3 ROM and restored my apps/texts from a titanium backup and still can't get the thing to mount.
-Downloaded the newest SDK 11/24/2013 and updated to latest binaries.
-Multiple ROM reinstalls, phone and PC reboots, different USB cables, etc.
PC: Windows 7 x64 SP1 Home Premium (previously update phone, newest SDK as of 11/24/2013).
Phone:
Hboot 1.4.4
ROM: Android Revolution HD 4.1 Google Play Edition (restored from NAND backup)
Recovery: CWM Touch 6.0.4.3
EDIT:
So I've discorvered that fastboot USB will work if I boot into recovery and then reboot into the bootloader from recovery. As such, I have switched back to CWM Recovery and restored my NAND backup. Any idea why ADB/mounting as removeable storage no longer works?
Aaaaaaaaaaaand after restoring the Nandroid backup again (4th time in 13 hours) USB is mounting properly and the phone is being recognized by ADB. Guess the best advice is to hold off on the KitKat for now :S
Sorry for the trouble if anyone had read the first post and given it more than 10 seconds with of thought. This is the first time it's started behaving properly since I attempted flashing that particular CM 11 beta last night.
Hi, my One started out of the blue to have this exact problem, but even fastboot didn't recognize usb, only charging
I tried several methods, restore from backup, flash another rom but nothing
Has anyone resolved this problem somehow?
I'm on ARHD 41.0, elemental X kernel if this helps
Thank you
Hello,
I have HTC One - rooted, S-Off with custom recovery. Yesterday I switched from Android Revolution HD into CyanogenMod11 and left the phone plugged into wall charger. Now I just cannot boot into the system, nor into recovery. Phone plugged or not, the green LED is constantly on and I cannot force reboot via PC. The device cannot be found. Any ideas? I don't want to use warranty in it's current shape, before reverting it to original state, but I'm cclearly unable to. Help much appreciated.

The computer cannot find the device in fastboot? Have you double checked drivers and the connection to the phone? I'm not sure how you can proceed if fastboot commands don't work...
You need to flash a new recovery somehow
Hello.
After googling around for a few hours, I've still not found a solution to my problem.
I have an HTC One M7, unlocked version bought directly from HTC. Some time ago, I wanted Lollipop on my phone, so I installed the GPE Kernel on it.
I think I used this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/orig-development/kernel-stock-reset-kernel-m7-gpe-t2963290
That worked fine, but some things didn't work, like FM radio, or the back/home button lights.
Also, it turns out my USB port doesn't work. I'm not sure if it was because of the new kernel, or if it physically broke inside. The phone still charged though.
I wanted to revert back to Sense kernel, so I used http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/development/kernel-stock-reset-kernel-m7-sense-t2957343
I installed TWRP, booted into TWRP, and installed that kernel without backing anything up, foolishly. After everything did its thing, my phone became soft-bricked.
I don't have any other kernel files, nor rom files on my virtual sd card, so I cannot get out of the soft-brick.
It's still running the GPE kernel (because I see the Google logo when the phone boots).
My USB port still doesn't work. I tried three different cables, different USB ports on my computer (including USB 2), a USB-OTG cable: none of those work. (Device manager does not detect any changes.)
Therefore, I can't adb or fastboot into anything.
My phone is unlocked and S-off, btw.
All it seems that I have is the TWRP terminal command and WiFi/cellular connection.
Is there anyone out there who can balance out my foolishness?
Thank you.
